A grip safety would be nice and be more realistic, but for the price I'm not complaining. Very cool special edition.

Pistol looks great. Nice heft from the metal parts used and feels like a real M1911. Fairly quiet and good accuracy once you get used to the trigger. Love the adjustable rear sight.

Change trigger. The trigger on this gun would be more at home on the CZ75 and detracts from the otherwise realistic looking pistol.

The double action trigger is long and heavy. Single action is much better. At 10 yards I had no trouble staying within a 4" circle using Umarex steel BB's. Well worth the selling price.

I like the whole package, the weight, especially the looks, and of course the way it shoots, which I find excellent, easy to load and very accurate , especially for a smooth bore BB pistol

Only that if you get one, you will not be disappointed, I own and shoot regularly 5 other air gun pistols, and not just BB pistols, of them all, this is right at the top as one of my favorites

Good weight, solid feel, looks absolutely great, real collectors piece, nicest bb pistol I have ever owned. Slide works to push hammer back for less trigger pull, hammer actually works, solid ammo clip smartly combined with the co2 cylinder bed. CO2 lasted a long time and shots remained on target at 10-15 feet. Extremely pleased!

A real blowback slide but then co2 gets blown away too. Sliding trigger instead of the hook just for a little more historical accuracy to the original 1911.

The hammer looks like it could be easily broken. Not super accurate but still fun. L

Overall quality is excellent. Love the weight and feel. Let me be honest, I have not shot this yet so I didn't want to give it one star or 5 stars for accuracy and mislead anyone. To be honest, the gun is beautiful to look at and I simply haven't had the chance to shoot this. Being a BB I can't shoot this indoors as my steel target will get bounce back. Indeed, if I never shoot it at all, I really don't care, it is simply a work of art and so darn cool to look at. As I have various .45acp/9mm 1911's, I'm just super impressed with the quality. And for the price.... even if it just sits as a display model... totally worth it. Haven't tried it yet but I suspect any 1911 grips might fit although no idea why you'd want to switch them out. Again though the feel is so real and awesome.

None. I could comment on the lack of authenticity of the trigger but I'm not going to nit pick.

Buy one, you won't be disappointed. Very happy with this purchase. It's a beaut.

I received this gun a few weeks ago and tried it out in my in house shooting range with a pellet trap and moving targets. I found the gun to handle just like a real 1911 and between the weight and trigger feel it's a slick copy. The drop out clip with gas and bb's make it handy to load and unload. The fact it doesn't waste gas cycling the slide but allows the gun to be cocked with the slide is very realistic and cleaver use of the mechanism. The safety's are easy to use and make a very useable gun.

I'd love to see a .22 pellet version of this gun. I know that would be very hard and the speed would suffer but it would have a little more punch for tin cans and small varmints.

I have pistols and rifles and machine guns. I just got the M1 carbine bb rifle. I have the real .30 original WW 2 carbine from my dad. The BB gun is ( from 5' away) almost identical to the real deal. The size ,the weight, and the feel is so close to the real gun I have no need to waste the antique, I can get almost the same thrill from the copy.
I've got about 2 dozen air guns, some heavily modded with custom parts and higher pressure co2 than straight out of the bottle (heated).
Some of my modded .22 guns can hit a bottle cap at 100 yards so they are accurate too. With muzzle brakes they are quiet.
Shoot safe ,wear goggles, and enjoy the replicas, they are almost as good as the real things.

upgrade the magazine

the tab that you pull back to load the bb's is flawed. Mine broke off on the second loading and is now useless. Spare magazines are also hard to come by and are expensive for a $99 pistol. Have contacted Umarex but haven't herd back yet. If anyone has any fix for this I would like your input.
