When I ordered mine I paid the extra 10 dollars to get it tested, but when I got it the co2 was leaking. I paid the extra to not have to worry about any problems, I guess the 10 buck ain't worth it.

Rotation of the cylinder is a little tricky but ok.

Got the Colt SSA back in June Umarex has their act together. Finish great action so nice all the clicks of the real single actions. Tried 4.49mm pellets in the BB gold shells. Unbeliveable this is a smooth bore. Rested from 10 meters got 1.25 group with fixed sights. Then got some of the .177 pellet silver shells now getting 1.0 in groups from rest. My pistol shoots H&N sports 4.50mm 8.18 grn the best in silver shells. Shoots strait on and a little high (3 in high at 10 meters) as others have repoted. But at 10 meters lolypop the beer can on the front sight and none can escape. Its the best sight picture anyway for silver front sights. At least for these old eyes. Grips are closer to 1860 Army 44 grips not the standard Navy grip but fit nice in the hand. 1860s shoot high also right out of the box.

Grips need to have more weight to them. Fit very nice but they are plastic. Make the shells cheeper. Little pricey ataround $2.00 each.

Oil her up good in all areas. You will feel the diference. Grab up all the extra shells and CO2s you can. You will need them. So much fun to shoot. These shells are the same used in the Umarex cowboy lever action rifle and the S&W Mod 29 revolver. The silver shells shoot pellets the best. But I see now the Cowboy rifle with the ejecting shells is next.

Really nice looking gun, the mecanism sound like a real one. Solid! Enough accurate! Good weight and handle.

It looks really like a Colt Peacemaker and works like one also. The action is almost like the real Peacemaker. I like it very much.

Don't know of anything I would change, it seems to be good as is.

Price is good for the money.

Nice design. It looks good and has a good heft to it. I like that is a metal gun.

It is accurate for a BB gun. Most (all?) BB guns are smooth bore like this, but I wish it was rifled.

The grip frame is apparently long. More like an 1860 Army. The real Peacemaker grip was closer to the Navy grip in size. That being said many prefer the longer Army grip.

The colt peacemaker that I purchased was great I hit the target fifty five feet away from me, a soda can, very first shot. I already learned to quick draw as well lol I am currently working on my twirls!I ordered extra shells also that adds fun with not stopping to fool with the bb's, About the quick draw I think I am a natural anyway, southern confederate hill billy. I love my mexico gun belt, and holster would not trade them for any thing even st. gauden, I have thirty shell loops, and needed to fill all to work right and also look good the loops are pushed in when empty so I thought I would keep them even, I am not Mexican , I will enjoy these pieces for the years to come! I am going on 43 if your curious we all don't get to old to play with toys I guess these are good learning tools for the person that doesn't know how to use a gun "colt peacemaker . Nothing needs to be changed, the hammer is designed the way it is so the gun can be gatlined easier I know it is different than a real one, three clicks instead of four, your already three clicks away from being doc holiday and one click already pulled back.Easier on your hand if you know what I mean.I am cool with the gun and would not keep from buy'n another different one in the future. The last time I shot a bb gun was when I were at least ten to 15 it has been such a long time ago.

Wear safety gloves when installing the air cartridge remember it is compressed air, i did. Don 't forget the safety glasses. Watch and don't rub the engraving off of your gun I am not going to clean mine , I am going to let it age naturally like a antique.
