    Things I liked:

the balance, feels good in your hands THE PRICE, I put a steel receiver from crosman on it and mounted a BSA red dot . Now shooting one hole at 30 feet

    Things I would have changed:

other than the steel receiver maybe the grips someday

    What others should know:

The steel receiver is 29$ at crosman worth every dollar and gets rid of the plastic crap and a great place to mount red dots Very happy with this very affordable gun

    Things I liked:

aftermarket parts. ...multi-pump 3 (for quiet, indoor) up to 10+ for 600fps

    Things I would have changed:

trigger, sights, and extend the barrel 1/4 inch to allow a brake.....but many online parts are easily availible, and many 'how-to's are out there for the stock trigger...

    What others should know:

this is the grandfather of all pistols and competitor to many rifles. a cult classic,....many web pages and forums are built around this model. if i could only have one, this is it. if you like custom parts, and fine tuning, this is it. if you need reliability, this is it. accurate, easy, aesthetically pleasing, well balanced, and once zeroed will be a tack-hammer...same hole after hole.. this pistol can serve you well from pre-teen to retirement and beyond. and still have fun.. i have 2, and will buy more for the nephews, and grandchildren so they don't hog mine on the weekends. its also perfect to stay sharp and can be an indoor plinker if you have the space (5 meters or more) and the backdrop. keep safety in mind, this is definitely NOT a toy. this is one pellet gun that qualifies for a custom wood box, and yet it can also be left on the porch out back.. ive never seen such a wide-spread area of purpose on any gun..ever.. bone stock its fun. but some are worth hundreds and can invest years into the development of this one classic air gun...simply amazing. for the price, buy 2, and customize one part by part, and you may find yourself a very rewarding hobby.

    Things I liked:

The look of the gun is great in black. The accuracy is exceptional especially at this price. I am able to get dime sized groups at 30 feet with the addition of a red dot sight (optional scope mount or steel breech is needed to mount sight). Overall amazing product!

    Things I would have changed:

A scope mount or red dot sight mount on the stock gun would be nice.

    What others should know:

The optional 459 Intermount for mounting scopes & red dot sights is adequate but not a perfect solution since it moves slightly when attached to gun. The steel breech kit (available from Crosman) is a better & more stable option.

    Things I liked:

Classic pistol, unchanged and with virtually no noticeable improvements over the years...

    Things I would have changed:

Very crude sighting, front and rear, very little room for adjustments.

    What others should know:

The barrel sags slightly if held while pumping.

    Things I liked:

The new black look is awesome. This is my second gun. I gave the first one away and regretted it ever since. Once set, this gun is unbelievably accurate for an airgun of this price range!

    Things I would have changed:

First thing to change is the plastic breech and rear sight. Trigger pull is much too hard, but can be lightened.

    What others should know:

I opted for the steel breech so I could mount a $6 4x15 airgun scope and it is deadly at 16yds! (50ft). The optional shoulder stock is a must also, if you're old and shakey as I am! I have learned several good tips on YouTube and would recommend checking them out!

    Things I liked:

Everything. I also grew up with the old style of this pistol and loved it, But I think I like this one better because of the fact that you can only use pellets in it and it is a fun gun to shoot especially when you put the 1399 shoulder stock on it, I also put a 24" barrel on mine with the shoulder stock and with the longer sight radius it's very accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe increase the velocity if possible but thats it.

    What others should know:

See when you are using steel BB's in a rifled steel barrel those BB's will soon chew up the rifling and make it inaccurate BB's were meant for smoothbore pistols and rifles.

    Things I liked:

i grew up shooing this model ..... and i love it, and even though Crosman made some changes to the gun since then, i still like this gun and love in in black

    Things I would have changed:

i hate pellets ....... Crosman was to cheap to add a 5 cent magnet, so it could shoot both pellets and bb's .... like the older style of this gun could do. so i would just add a magnet and the gun would be perfect once again.

    What others should know:

it only shoot pellets .......... Crosman was to cheap to add a magnet .... but other then that still a great gun for a single shoot, hand load, but i grew up shooting the older style of this it had a magnet so you could shoot both, you still had to hand load every round in it too, so that was not a big deal .... still a good gun love the updated bolt action, just wish Crosman had add a magnet so it would shoot bb's too... but if you like pellets ...... this is a great must have gun.
