    Things I liked:

MADE IN THE USA! Very accurate and well built. A testament to Crosman's quality.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I have noted that some complain about the use of plastic for the grip, forearm and breech. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the function of these parts. I am sure this is one way that Crosman continues to make this an affordable pistol and I appreciate that.

    Things I liked:

Easy to pump, accurate, and its great that there are so many accessories for it.

    Things I would have changed:

Breech and rear sight assembly are cheaply made. Air pressure port and seal underneath the barrel are off-center, meaning that the barrel is not parallel with the air chamber underneath. Plastic grips make the gun appear cheap.

    What others should know:

As mentioned by others, get the Steel Breech kit from Crosman, it is a definite improvement and has dovetail groove for scope. Also, the wood grips available from RBgrips are worth it for those that don't like the plastic. My suggestion to Crosman is to start putting the steel breech kit on at the factory during manufacture, charge an extra $30 for the gun, and save people the trouble of doing this yourself (even though it was easy) - it would not be much fun without it. Of course, adding the steel breech and wood grips basically gives you a similar product as the Benjamin HB17, for about the same amount of money. Otherwise, great shooter and very accurate for a pistol. And keep that pump cup moist with Pellgunoil, it should last a long time.

    Things I liked:

    Terrific value. Adjustable power.

    Things I would have changed:

Hollow plastic grips unbalance this pistol. I loaded the grip cavities with steel shot for a temporary fix. Resultant balance is now much improved. Solid weighted grips wouldn't add much to the cost. Fancy wooden ones probably aren't much heavier, and double the cost. Rear sight's silly-cheap, but works. But since one has to LOOK at it all the time it'd be nice if it was not just a stamped slot with a screw.

    What others should know:

Just buy one and try filling the grips with BBs to improve balance.

    Things I liked:

i have bought several of these over the years, and still own most. i am pleased to say that this new version is the best yet. i wouldnt give up any of my older ones,as they still perform quite well. great value for the dollar. amazingly accurate "out of the box".very dependable as a "sidearm" in the field.

    Things I would have changed:

perhaps a dovetail grooved barrel, and a little better smoothing around the trigger area. maybe a "quick change" grip setup to make switching to the rifle stock and back easier for backpacking.

    What others should know:

add the rifle stock for greater stability, maybe a pistol scope, this will only make a great pistol better.

    Things I would have changed:

Real wood instead of plastic would be great.

    What others should know:

I purchased this for my 13 and 11 year old sons. It is a great first air pistol and should last for years to come.

POWER, SERIOUS AIRPISTOL, VERY ACCURATE, GOOD FOR SMALL GAME

    Things I would have changed:

GRIPS, YOU NEED TO WORK ON THE REAR OPEN SIGHT, PRACTICE AND ZERO IT IN.

    What others should know:

KEEP ONE PUMP IN THE PISTOL WHEN NOT IN USE TO PROTECT THE SEALS , AND POWERPLANT.

GREAT POWER, GOOD BALANCE AND EXCELLENT ACCURACY. THEY DONT MAKE AIR PISTOLS LIKE THIS AND IVE SHOT A FEW IN MY DAY.

    Things I would have changed:

THE GRIPS, BUT THAT CAN BE CHANGED TO WOOD, THEY ARE FOR SALE IF IT STARTS TO BOTHER ME.

    What others should know:

THIS IS A VERY POWERFUL AIR GUN. AT 10 PUMPS YOU WILL GET 600 FPS, I HAVE WITH 11.5 GRAIN .177 PELLETS THATS 12 FPE. ALWAYS KEEP 1 PUMP WHEN NOT IN USE IN THE PISTOL TO PROTECT THE SEALS AND POWERPLANT.

its a single shot.. the mini bolt action.. got to love it.. power .. feels good in hand.. feels like a real gun sturdy.. and the loading is just a nice touch..

    Things I would have changed:

add some dovetail rails to hold scopes in place.

    What others should know:

if your wanting to have a hand gun that you can change into a carbine this is the gun for you.. pump.. so no co2. which means less cost a little muscle grease.. and bam.. you still kick more fps then anything at its price.. just wished it came with dovetails for a scope is all..

the look the feel and the fact it dose not need co2. works gret for back yard shootin and love that i am getting 455FPS with 7gr pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

be sure when you get this pistol you tighten all the screws. after only like 50 shots the handel starting getting very loose and felt liki it was going to twist off. so i took it apart and retightined all the screw and now she is stought.
i get 455FPS with &gr pellets with only 8 pumps. at 10 pumps there was no real difference.

    Things I liked:

Balances well in the hand. Adjustable power.

    Things I would have changed:

    Lighten the trigger pull.

    What others should know:

I bought the Crosman 1377C as a replacement for my 20 year old Crosman 1389. The 1377C is lighter and balances in my hand better than the longer barreled 1389. The 1389 has a lighter trigger/sear spring which I like better than the stock 1377C trigger, but lightening the 1377 trigger is an easy thing to do.

Overall the 1377 is a really good, fairly compact, jack-of-all trades air pistol.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

The length of the barrel and the sights make it very accurate. It's also not very hard to pump. As you start to approach 10 pumps (max) the resistance of the pumping increases very little if any. The trigger pull is very short and feels nice. The grip is very comfortable and fits my hand nicely. Because this is a pneumatic pump gun, i really like the ability to control the power of the gun for different purposes (i.e. target shooting, pest control, etc.).

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. I might purchase a steel breech kit from crosman and add a red dot later on. However, the sights work just fine. You could also make or purchase real wood grips if you want to. But really, for the price your getting a really, really great gun.

    What others should know:

Make sure to lubricate this gun regularly. Some pellgun oil on the pump head (as stated in the manual) will help keep the seals wet and your velocity up. It will also make pumping easier than if the pump head were not lubricated. I really recommend this gun to anyone!

    Things I would have changed:

Sights rear cannot go be adjusted down enough. doesnt make any differnice will make mods any way.

    What others should know:

I own other guns but I enjoy this 1377 more than my 1077 ,big cat ,pt80 , maybe not more than my bretta 92 . But should atleast 2 1377s one to mod & one to just to enjoy. with better sights very accurat have fun!

Its a fun inexpensive classic that you can easily upgrade if you so choose. Fine as it is, and is a must have for my collection. I find it easy to cock with my trashed neck, and back it gives me no problems. Sometimes just pop 10 rounds in my apt. and put it back in the case.

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe a metal front sight.

    What others should know:

Still fires like it did when i bought it. I dont let the seals dry and I pump it once before I put it away. Dont know if thats recomended, but it works for me.

    Things I liked:

Very good value for the money. I was surprised of the accruacy and ease of shooting. I could easily have a 1" grouping at approx. 10m and that was only with three pumps. If pumped up to 10 times then it shoots very hard for a pistol. I do not have a shoulder stock but it is in the near future. I would definately recommend to friend but not for the young shooter. By the way it has a very nice trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

I do not like the cheesey rear sights or the plastic fake wood forearm and grips. I think it would look much better with all black stocks.

    What others should know:

Again I think for the price it is a very good value and alot of fun for plinking in the back yard. Just do not expect alot out of the quality of the grips and the forearm but they do the job just fine. Also when new, check all screws, Mine had a couple that were loose before shooting.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate, great price, and if you are willing to put 10 pumps in it will hit with good power. 3-4 pumps are enough for target shooting. I've got 500 rounds through it with no issues.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights are a little clumsy considering the potential accuracy... easily fixed, I mounted a BSA 2x pistol scope and was amazed what it could do. The plastic faux wood is *really* ugly (a little black spray paint really helps).

    What others should know:

It feels more like a cut down rifle than a pistol (a good thing). I found wadcutter pellets hard to load, go with domes or points.

    Things I liked:

accurate out of the box.. number 10 pump is just like number 6 pump. ive had really good luck with the rws diabolo basic 7 grain pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

the grips are a lose no matter how tight u tighten them.. as a left hander i do have a problem with the safety if find myself putting the safety on when i want to fire it. maybe its just me.

    What others should know:

lots and lots of aftermarkte mods for this.. i have already ordered a nice wood shoulderstock and a super pumper forearm. as for the safety if anyone could let me know how i might be able to solve this please let me know bubmmf@aol.com

    Things I liked:

I have an older model of this and is very accurate. I didn't like the bolt on the old model. It would blow open at times. I squeezed it a bit with a pliers to tighten it up and that worked. I've been wanting the newer model for a long time. When I got the new one, I noticed that the spacer between the barrel and pump cylinder was missing. I called up Crosman and they sent me one. I'm going to modify this gun a bit. I've already ordered a better breech/bolt from RJMachine. Then, I want to get a custom trigger & sear spring kit and of course hardwood for grip and pump handle. Overall it is a good pellet pistol. Lots of power and accurate. worth the money.

    Things I would have changed:

Stop using cheap plastic parts. If this pistol had cost more without the plastic, I would have paid more.

    What others should know:

There a many upgrades available through 3rd party vendors to convert this from a very good air gun to a great air gun. Just Google the model of this gun.

    Things I liked:

This is one accurate pistol, I was pleasently surprised when the gun gave me half inch groups at ten yards with open sights. It has respectable power for a pistol and has enough knock-down power to eliminate small pests. This gun is a great platform for cusomization and has many options to choose from.

    Things I would have changed:

The grips and forearm are plastic and degrade the pistols overall appearance. Although the grips are plastic they do not feel too bad in your hands. Another downfall to this gun is the rear sight is somewhat crude and should be replaced.

    What others should know:

The accuracy of the pistol is increased if you mount a dot sight.
