Great gun, great value, easy and fun to use. My grandsons love it. Their father had a similar one when he was growing up.

This is the air gun that reintroduced me to shooting. Purchased on a whim last Christmas eve on the way home from work. Has given me many hours or recreational target shooting pleasure. Everyone should own a Red Ryder.

The best feature of this air rifle is there are no accessories to purchase. Once you learn how to aim at a target watch out. I have a small bell hanging from at string at 12 meters that I hit most of the time. I'd love to take on an Avanti 499 with the Red Ryder in competition.

That the stock is wood and not plastic!

Put the seal and writing on the other side of the stock as on the original.

I didn't order this to use but to have. You see I got a Red Rider BB Gun for my 8th birthday-I am going on 74. The old and the new are right here in my office beside me. It was a reminder of what a happy little girl (me) felt when her Daddy made her only wish come true. It was quite a prize because it was right before the end of WWII and money was very tight. While I was waiting for the 70th anniversary edition to be delivered I felt as anxious as I did as then all those years ago..

How easy it is to cock the rifle. just push the lever and fire

I would make it a little more powerful but you just can't touch the legend that is the red ryder

when you are cocking the rifle, make sure that the leather strands are out of the way.

Great learning tool for my grandkids. Everything about it is great. Lightweight, ease of loading and cocking and accurate at short distance with Daisy BB's.

Great product! I bought it for my son for Christmas, but have played with it more than him. It's the most fun I've had shooting since I was a kid. You can build targets to shoot indoors or out. It more accurate than I expected. I highly recommend it!~

Sometimes I have trouble chambering a BB. You have to move the barrel up and down to make sure the BB feeds correctly. I remember this from years ago, but it seems like there could be a better way.

If you're unsure, just buy it! It's inexpensive and lots of fun!

Great reproduction of the 1938 original, great value, and a blast to shoot. A perfect starter for teaching young shooters safety and handling. Given as a Christmas gift to my son-in-law who never got one as a child. He said receiving it was comparable to his first train set. It's a gift to treasure.

This gun was a lot of fun for me and my friends. It is very accurate out to about 25 yards and has the classic look that you just have to love. Good quality wood on the stock.

Different rear sights would be good. A little bit more power.

300 round bb tube, quick firing, very quiet.

plastic cocking level broke after 4 years. locking bb tube reload hatch.

I've fired thousands of rounds for 4 years before the cocking lever broke. I'ts the best deal for your money. I'ts great fun shooting and is accurate out to 30 yards.

this is a great gun. I can put 9 rounds in a nickel from 30 feet away. great gun for any age.

Classic design, mostly wood and metal, and hold LOTS of BBs. Pretty accurate, i hit a soda can on a log from over 25 feet.

The leather strap gets in the way. The plastic lever. The lever is kinda hard to use. Not much else.

If your a gun collector you should get this. Good for young shooters with good supervision.
