First off when you look at the weapon its realistic. When you pick it up you immediately feel the heft. Its very comfortable in the hand. The markings arent spoiled with that intrusive white writing. The cylinder is quite a feature, using the cylinder lock, unlocking it is rather lifelike. It swings out easily without play. The cartridges are a very nice touch. Easy to load. The hammer feels great pulling back. Im very pleased with this purchase. I especially love the ribbed vented barrel! For me thats the icing on the cake. And it has a adjustable rear sight. Sighting the pistol is simple and fairly accurate. I painted my front sight with bright nail polish to enhance the view.My only dislike is that I have medium sized hands, so at times when I pull the hammer back, the grip has a tendency to come loose and and expose the C02 chamber. Bottom line, its a great pistol!

A nice realistic revolver

Shorten valve area to make it more like the 715. More fps . These revolvers with a little tweaking could hit 500/ 550 fps. Would like to see more revolver replicas of classic Colt and Smith and Wesson revolvers

Would like to see the area behind the cylinder release shortened to look more like an actual firearm; Would like to see versions of the S&W model 19, 10, Colt Official Police and Trooper. Would give up co2 for more fps. A hard hitting 450-500 fps version would be a nice alternative to 22 rimfire

The quality of workmanship and materials in this product. The hammer was a crudely formed casting of some very light material, possibly plastic. The sights were plastic and it appeared the trigger and cylinder release were also plastic. The action when cocked and operated felt like a toy without any semblance of a solid feel or good fit between the parts.

I knew immediately upon looking this one over that it was far over-priced and that I would not be keeping it, so I did not charge it with CO2 or fire it. I simply looked it over and cocked it and let the hammer back down easy a few times. This is not something you will want if you are thinking "Dan Wesson Quality". Instead, get the Dan Wesson model 715! For just a little more money you get real quality materials, solid construction and a product you will truly appreciate.

The gun is well made, to me the weight is perfect for a hand gun...

The hammer needs to be tighter, it has a lot of play in it, especially from side to side, not having rifling you don't know exactly where the bb is going, but if is a lot of fun to shoot plinking,

Sometimes the shell doesn't line up exactly with the bore, I found that out the hard way, I had my right hand up to close to the cylinder and when I fired it the escaping gas rip my right index finger open to the bone, I'm guessing that is what happen....all I know it sure did hurt, be careful and keep you hand away from the cylinder.

Overall the gun is nice looking, and the weight is perfect ,good on the co2 i got 80-90 shots per.co2

I like to change the texture of the finish to a more of a black flat finish because it hard to keep your hand prints off the gun

When I got home from work what did I see waiting for me?the dan wesson revolver with 4in barrel I'd ordered had arrived. Opening the box I found a nicely finished black gun. According to the description of this gun I'd been reading this gun has some plastic parts on it but I couldn't tell where these might be, this is a well finished gun. I love how the co2 cartridge is concealed. This is in my opinion a rather accurate shooting gun with an wonderful trigger pull both single and double action. It is definitely worth the money

I bought this gun because of a good experience I had with another purchase. It is very, very authentic. I read a previous review from a person that did not like the finish. He must not like the standard blued finish on the typical revolver because I find it authentic. I hope the finish holds up. It's really a fun gun. I shoot it in my cabin all the time.

I can't think of any improvements. As with all air guns maybe a more comprehensive owners manual.

For the money it's an excellent value. I almost didn't buy it because the photos looked too good. I took the gamble and won.

this is a fun gun to shoot. I got the 8" as a present and had so much fun with it I decided to and a few more to my collection. Shoots well as holds a fair size pattern for a short smooth bore gun. Makes good use of CO2. Planning on getting snub nose soon to round out collection.

Grip are still a major down side to this gun. For a product as well put together as this it is the big down point

Get extra speed loaders and bullets. Between my 2 Wessons I have ran a lot of bbs thru them bullets are starting to show some signs of use but haven't caused any trouble yet.

The best Real feel BB Revolver over Crossman. Buy One ! Glass smooth Trigger pull,Break in is easy put spot of lube and cleaning oil on the top of the Co2 screw in and I heard no perg .you know you are sealed pull about three times to lube then load up.I bought an extra speed loader and shells.If you know how a real Dan Wesson Works then It is easy as Pie.This is as close to reality as it will get. perfect practice to save on live fire ammo. I start at 10 yards to break in any gun Live fire or BB and Pellet.I Use MOA measurements, for different distance. I put holes with this Revolver replica, into Tin Soup cans at 10 yards.So Safety is a must. A Universal Safety Manuel comes in the well made shipping box with 1 allan wrench, 2 picatinny rail's and the Speed loader with the 6 shells. follow all recommended information and instructions.

This was my final choice between 2 other revolver airguns that replicate the classic Duty firearm. The build quality is flawless, the weight is very close to the real steel and the cartridges gives this gun outstanding realism. PA sales people were very helpful with my order and the discount coupon was what tipped the scales to buy from PA. Oh yeah...and I also bought the holster which I think is a great bonus to have to protect this beautiful airgun revolver.

Although many reviewers have commented on the 'plastic' grips...I actually found then okay. The mat finish does give them a rubber look. Would have been nice if they were really rubberized. Wish ASG had offered the 4 inch barrel BB model in polished metal as is available from them in the airsoft (6mm) version.

This is a very powerful airgun. It can pierce a metal tin can at 20 feet...and penetrate right through 4 inches of high density extruded Styrofoam. Wear safety glasses when shooting this airgun.

Realistic look and feel. Great training aid for the grand kids to get the feel of a revolver (they are already well versed in semi-autos). The fake bullets allow for practice of safe loading and unloading. Also the illustration of the difference between single and double action as far as its effect on accuracy adds to its value in practice.

More power and better accuracy, with such a short smooth bore barrel, its certainly not a target pistol but it is more than adequate for pop cans at 25 ft.

Buy extra bullets and silicone oil, the owners manual suggest a drop or two on a bb.

This gun is a lot of fun. It feels great in your hand and is remarkably accurate for a bb pistol.

The only thing I don't like is the plastic grip. The rest of the gun is first rate, but the grip just isn't up to par with the rest of the gun.

Mostly metal design. very realistic. The swing out with actual shells.

come with at least 12 shells instead of 6. Not a fan of the plastic grips, makes it feel cheap. make other style grips like wood or rubber.

I'm not sure if it's only mine but there's a pin for the cylinder and it scrapes the inside. Also the shells when loaded scratches a little metal molded piece on the left side of the gun when cylinder is out. Other than that it is a nice gun, very realistic and fun to shoot.

I liked the looks the weight and the feel of this gun. The trigger pull is great. Can hit a soup can at 15 yards every time.

The sights. I cant adjust the sights down far enough so I have to shoot using a 6 O'clock hold.

Great gun for the price. You wont be disappointed. Buy some of the extra bullets.

Firing of the revolver is good and you can practice inside every day if you have a bullet or pellet trap. The sound of the bb hitting the trap is louder than the gun firing.

Have a trigger advance of the cylinder not advance unless fully pulled. You can advance the cylinder some times with pulling the trigger halfway at times.

If the bb doesn't fire the CO2 is close to empty and needs to be replaced.

Nice replica. No unsightly warning paragraph written on the side of the gun. Thank you ASG for that. Good trigger pull in single action. Realistic revolver action. Reloadable shells. I like the safety on this gun.

I don't like the electroplated black paint. Looks terrible. There are two screws that hold the gun together and they run through the right side of the barrel. This makes the pistol look ridiculously fake. The grip plastic feels very cheap.

Still a good airgun to add to your collection. But the black paint finish leaves more to be desired.
