This is a very realistic and heavy air gun, a must have for replica gun collectors. The shells are awesome to load and feels just like the real thing. I recommend getting 50 or more extra shells if you want a good shooting session without the distraction of putting BBs into every 6 shells.
Things I would have changed:The handle needs remodeling. When I use the safety with my thumb on one hand, the co2 opening sometimes jiggle and just makes it feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, and if it can be more scratch proof, theres really nothing to complain about.
What others should know:You should really be careful when installing the rail mount, if you screw it too tight, the screws will leave 2 small circles on top of the barrel. Wish i knew that beforehand because it didnt even look good with the rail. So dont even mess with that, I was just curious.

I have seen many reviews of the Dan Wesson 6" and 8" revolver and I know every pro and con to this gun but this gun has very little cons, I have not yet purchased this gun, but I "know" that I will be getting this gun very soon.
Things I would have changed:I would lower the price because products like this appeal to adults "and" teenagers making this product somewhat hard to get...
What others should know:The 8 inch black Dan Wesson revolver's longer barrel does provide more fps and it includes 12 shells instead of 6. But if you want that sexy silver look then this gun is for you. (I guess thats their way of ripping you huh? haha)

It looks BEAUTIFUL! realistic looks, feel, and weight. loading the cartridges is awesome. shots per fill is amazing. sights are good, finish is good.
Things I would have changed:Make the grips less plastic and more rubber. and make the hammer more smooth (as in cocking)
What others should know:do not rob a bank with this because you will probably succeed. LOL. parts of gun feel a little loose: hammer, barrel connection, cylinder, and grips.

The stainless/nickel looking finish is great. Seems to me that the CO2 puncturing is quite well done too. As far as look and weight this thing really gives you the idea that you have a 6" .357 Magnum in your hand. The working cylinder and shells that accept the bbs top off the realism. Accuracy is also pretty good for a bb gun, that is in single action.... see below
Things I would have changed:One of the biggest things right off the bat that I noticed was the trigger linkage/hammer and cylinder timing/action was extremely heavy, clunky and sometimes would even bind and not advance. I attempted many different things to remedy this. Oiling, help advance one shell manually, working the action(dry firing) etc. All seemed to have very minimal effects. So far I have only put about 350 rds through this pistol. I can say it has worked in a bit more and is smoother. SA only that is. DA is unusable for any accuracy whatsoever. The cylinder carriage requires care putting back in the frame but that I am used to now.
What others should know:While everyone's reviews of this are glowing and over the top I can't endorse with that much confidence. I was offered to return this to PA but I declined thinking that it was just me. Maybe I got one that isn't quite right. Regardless when I see it in the case I can't help but pick it up. Then it is inevitable that I'll want to shoot it. That's probably worth the money right? :-)

The feel and weight of a metal revolver BB gun. The act of loading the shells into the cylinder is just awesome(although they should have put clearance into the left grip for the speedloader. The look on my sons friends faces when I pull this out for some group shooting... The realistic appearance of the bullets. But I tell my son to never flash this around as everyone would assume its real and loaded with hollowpoint.
Things I would have changed:The DOUBLE ACTION TRIGGER PULL AND FORCE REQ'D - is Ridiculous! Why they could spend a little more engineering time to make if more useable is beyond me. For the price this should have been knocked out of the park. THE GRIPS - feel and are cheap - the one GLARING flaw in an otherwise superbly executed BB gun
What others should know:Works and looks awesome with a decent red dot scope. i spent the bucks for the Walther and it was worth it.
Its HEAVY - younger shooters (my sons 12) may have some difficulty holding it up and out for long.
** MINE BROKE after 2.9 months! Good news is that Pyramide covered it under warranty!

i really liked the fact that it has a great weight and feel to it. the realistic loadable shells are also very very good. this revolver is very nice and if you have the money dont hesitate to purchase it.
Things I would have changed:i would change the hammer of this gun, because it is lose and makes the feel and look of the gun cheap, yet everything else on the gun is top notch. i really would have preferred a colour like the 4 inch dan wesson, a shiny black. but the stainless colour also rocks hard. the hammer sometimes james on this gun but it is fixable, dont worry. this gun should be priced at around $80 instead of 120 or sometimes even more.
What others should know:if you got the money dont hesitate one bit to purchase this gun.

Beatiful looking gun. Great price.
Things I would have changed:Better fps. Several chrony test on youtube review messure the fps less than 400 fps that is below the advertised 430 fps.
What others should know:If you like fast fps get the 8in. It shoot about 50fps faster then the 6in but if look in important to you the silver 6in is better looking.

This gun looks and feels real. Fools everyone who sees it. I have to show them its only a BB gun. The rear sights are fully adjustable which is great. After tweaking it in I have no problem holding 1" groups at 13' (that's as far as I can go in my garage).
Things I would have changed:Lighter trigger pull on double action. Since it's so stiff I shoot single action all the time. More rubberizing on the grips, not so hard. There is not enough clearance for the speed loader to come straight in but is manageable. Not sure how the ASG design guys missed this in their CAD model.
What others should know:This is a heavy gun. It is so fun you want to shoot it all the time. After a night of shooting a couple hundred times, the next day your right shoulder is sore. :)

looks great, good weight, feels good in hand, fun to shoot & load--I even like to load by hand -w/o speedloader ! I have no problem with grip! Decent sights.Shipping is always quick---a big + I think ! Packed very well---arrives in its own box &in perfect condition . Finish on pistol is excellent.
Things I would have changed:Not much to change-stiffness of new pistol will work out quickly & trigger pull seems ok after used for awhile! Cocking hammer seems a little loose on my pistol, but not a problem !
What others should know: Not accurate with any kind of ammo, tried Avanti BB's,still not accurate. This is The big downer for me,shooting accurate is the whole ball game for me !Have 5 air guns--only the pellet guns are accurate
in my experience !

Nice weight. Feels like the "real thing". Works very much like a firearm and is a lot of fun to shoot. It will even shoot pellets if you put one in the barrel with an empty cartridge.
Things I would have changed:Provide cartridges that are made to accept pellets. The originals can be easily and safely modified for this, but it takes a safe drill press setup to do so to avoid an accident.
What others should know:Smooth bore, but pellets still work well. The skirt on a pellet is what stabilizes it anyhow, more than the spin in a rifled barrel at these velocities.

I really like the "realism" of this revolver. The double action/single action feature is also very nice. I was looking for something that would be fun and accurate to plink with in the basement in the winter time. I really was looking at the Crosman 2240 pellet pistol, but Michigan laws make purchasing one a hassle. This pistol is remarkably accurate and that is what I was hoping for.
Things I would have changed:Trigger pull is pretty heavy. Even in Single Action, it is still very heavy. I am wondering if a gunsmith could do something about it or if it would affect the FPS?

This gun has a good balance and feel to it, shoots accurately. I can hit a golf ball off a tee at 45 ft. Very realistic looking.
Things I would have changed:The cylinder does not always rotate when firing the next shot. Does not make a difference if shooting single or double action, it will not always rotate.

Straight out of the box this gun is impressive, nice weight ,precise construction and beautiful finish. The shells and working tumbler add a fun, realistic feel to the gun for sure. As far as accuracy goes ,at 25 feet I was able to consistently maintain a 2" grouping with the iron sights. Power was pretty impressive too as my target was mounted on a cardboard box and the bb went through both sides of it and stuck in the drywall behind.
Things I would have changed:I am going to change the grips to wood , still working on them. Would have been nice if they came with/sold separately wood grips. However you have to keep in mind this gun only costs $120 , so for the price I'm glad Umarex spent the time where it counts, ie: metal/precision construction , shells and tumbler and the overall performance of the gun.
What others should know:Just that I can assure you once you buy the silver one you're going to want the 8" black one too. I hear it has higher accuracy and velocity than the 6" which makes sense with the longer barrel.

The look of the gun really cool !!
Things I would have changed:The $$$$ is just a little to much base on the fact that you are paying money only for the way the guns looks cuz you hit the target every 2-3 shoots
What others should know:If you just want the gun for the cool look than go 4 it" but not accurate at all

The finish, weight, realism, and accuracy are superb.
Things I would have changed:I would make the mounting of the barrel to the frame just a bit tighter. There is a very very slight wobble between the two pieces but it's only noticeable if you are trying to move it.
What others should know:I had to disassemble the gun and re-oil the internals due to a sticking trigger when I first used the gun.
