This gun is extremely realistic. Reloading the gun is so much fun even though I have to do it a lot since there are only six rounds. Build quality is excellent. Looks great in silver and I think the 6" is the perfect size. The pistol also has a very realistic weight to it.

Perhaps a higher quality grip on the handle. The plastic isnt bad, but it could be better.

I wouldnt carry this around in public because its so darn realistic looking. For the price, I highly recommend this purchase.

I got the siver one,I love the realism.this is a well made gun hard hitting,I like using lead bbs too they seem to have a little more empact.it is nice to have a bb gun you can be proud to own.everyone you know will want one.

Wow. Just wow. When holding and loading this thing I sometimes have a hard time believing it's not a legit firearm. What makes this unique, and why most of you buy it, is the fact that it uses removable .357 replica shells. However, I'm warning you now, this is a collector's piece. Don't expect to be quickly blowing through rounds through this thing, it's a six-shooter, and again, uses removable shells. But for those who buy it as the collector's item it is, it's an amazing amazing piece. Now that I've adjusted the sights a little, it shoots spot on every time. Haven't chrono'd the gun yet, but it shoots pretty dang hard. All in all, Excellent job ASG.

A little tedious when screwing and unscrewing the CO2; the front half of the grip kinda gets in the way. Also, removing the grip to put the cartridges in his fine, but putting it back on correctly takes a little practice. Mine shot a little low at first, but that's not a problem with the gun's aesthetics or anything.

Do NOT buy this as your first gun, get something with a large capacity. This thing isn't designed to be a practical target-shooting weapon.

I like the realism of shooting and reloading. So much so that this is the second one i purchased. I also have the 8 inch version. The accuracy is very good when using the avanti precision BB's. They do make a difference.

I wouldn't change a thing but I would like to suggest that they also be manufactured to replicate them in the old west single action six shooter.

You will want to purchase extra cartridges when they become available.

this is a great co2 pistol,I have a beretta and a Smith and Wesson...but this Dan Wesson is my favorite.its accurate and the weight is good.this gun has a great feel,I like it so much that Im ordering the 2 inch bbl.its so realistic the way the bb's fit into the realistic shells.all you plunkers out there don't let this gun get away from you.I have a feeling this gun won't be around long,Its Tooooo! realistic!!!!

not one thing, except ,maybe make the shells where you can shoot .177 pellets

when I ordered this pistol I was pretty sure that for $120.00 I would be buying a piece of junk. I could not have been any more wrong! This is one outstanding piece of equipment. It is beautifully finished, smooth, and is reasonable accurate for a BB gun. It doesn't like crosman BB's, but does very well with Daisy precision ground BB's or Avanti precision ground rounds. I could go on and on about this great looking pistol. But I won't.- Just let me say that if you buy one of these you can't go wrong....You'll love it!!

This is an awesome BB gun. It allows you to practice full size revolver shooting while not breaking the bank. It is very accurate to 40+ feet. Can practice reloading as you would with a real revolver. Built extremely well and very sturdy.

Grip could be more of a Hogue style, not as much a plastic feel. Just a very minor thing but it is the only thing I could see changing.

When I take people out shooting, even with real guns, this is a favorite of people. Really great gun.

This was my first order from Pyramid Air, the staff and the correspondence was excellent in delivering the back ordered package by the promised delivery date. The Dan Wesson is a very unique airgun, it is superbly designed, and is finished very well, this also includes the speedloader and shells. It's really fun to handle and has exceeded my expectations for the price, quality, and performance. While it's a cold winter, I've been shooting indoors at 15-18 feet. I have shot over 400 rounds while only using three CO2 cartridges. This revolver is a lot of fun to shoot, and has produced tight groups when tested on a rest. Both single-action and DA are smooth, and gives you confidence that the target can be hit without a getting a wild flyer. I appreciate the professional videos that Paul Capello and the team produce to demonstrate the product features and performance. I hope to see the return of the American Airgunner on TV, where I learned of this website. Paul's tip on loading the shells while in the speed loader was very cool, also the use of Pellgunoil is valuable info. This website is fun to explore all the choices and read the customer reviews. I'm really looking forward to my next order with Pyramyd Air.

Actually nothing needs to be changed with the Dan Wesson, it's just the pleasure of using this airgun that other features might come to mind. More velocity and the option to use pellets would always be fun for longer shots, but this is great for target shooting at the home range. A rubberized grip with the same profile would feel real and might be less likely to wear out over time. The thin plastic strips inside the grips when opened up will need to be handled with care.

You will really enjoy shooting this revolver, and it should be in your airgun collection. A couple of things to know, which weren't serious concerns... Initially the cylinder was difficult to swing out, and the safety was hard to move back, but within the first 50-100 shots the actuation continually improved and both are operating just right now.

When I first opened the box, I cuoldn't tell this gun from my REAL Dan Wesson .22 Target Model revolver!!! The directions that came with this excellent airgun were easy to follow and I was up and running in a few minutes. I liked it so much,that I ordered another one in blue with the longer barrel.

Order a least one extra speed-loader to keep the "action" going!

This is a very nice repoduction of a Dan Wesson revolver. It has a solid feel though it is a bit light. The action is smooth after break in and the trigger equivelent to most revolvers, powder or airgun. Fully adjustable sights a real bonus for my gun shot at least 1 inch to the left out of the box but was easily corrected with the adjustments available. The tru glow dot front sight aids considerably in fast acquisition of the target. Accuracy was quite good for a BB pistol and in fact from 18 feet one can hold a 1 inch group with the occassional flyer. It is not a target gun but a really accurate plinker and just fun to shoot. The loading system is as real as its gets. Six shoots and pop the cylinder release, dump the spent shells and reload. The included speed loader helps but the shells are large enough not to be a reloading problem. The cylinder release is a bit sticky on mine but I presume it will loosen up with use. The single action trigger is good but the gun likes to be fired double action and performs best that way. Dan Wesson guns always have a pugnacious look about them and this action revolver captures it pretty well. All in all for the price, a very good purchase with a serious fun factor. As usual, Pyramind service excellent.

The grips feel a little cheap compared to the rest of the gun. I suppose a metal screw in for the CO2 cylinder would be nice but not necessary.

I get about a 100 good shots from each CO2 caplet. A simple and quick was to load the BB into the Catridge case is to take the top of a pellet can, fill it about 80% with BBs so they all lie flat and then simple push the nose of the catridge into the BBs. A little gentle pressue and your BB is loaded. I would strongly advise picking up spare catridges, Pyramid has them. Its difficult to put this gun down and pre loaded spares make life a lot more fun.

Great product and a lot of Fun. Works great looks, feels and act almost just like the real thing. So watch out caring it around. Scared my brother in-law and his friends when I took it out to show them. They all thought I got a new 357 and fit perfectly in my holster for my 357mag. Did minimal adjustment to the rear site and is dead on every shot. Uses very little CO2 on each shot. I haven’t counted but am sure I have shot more than 10 loads before changing CO2. Can’t say how much fun it is to shoot.

The weight, the feel. It's so realistic. I already have the 8" version which I ordered on 11/15/2011 but the minute I saw this 6" on Pyramid's website, I immediately ordered one (that was on the 25th of Nov.) Now I have the two BB guns and I am shooting left and right. Both guns are accurate. I am thinking of not using these much and just put it on display. I even have an individual gun cases for each. It was a good thing I did not waste any minute in ordering this...now it's out of stock. It sells that fast, huh? Sorry for you guys...you'll have to wait until 12/16/2011.
