Its cool looking! Feels like a powerful handgun. The pellet/bullets give it an authentic look!
Things I would have changed:I got this pistol because I live in a suburban area, and cannot shoot a rifle to take care of critters and nasty birds. This appeared to have all of the power I needed at 400+ FPS with hunting grade pellets. Its a wimp! With hunting grade pellets 8g hollow points and lighter, it will barely kill a bird. It took 4 shots to drop a dove. It was less than 15 feet from it.... Really?? I can't site it to save my life. Any distance above 10 yards and I can't hit the broad side of a barn, let alone do any damage to speak of. Tonight, I was less than 10 feet from a rabbit. Put 3 into it, never dropped it, no blood nothing.I know I hit it, it jumped and squealed. $200 paper weight.
What others should know:Research more, don't buy it because its pretty.
Now I need to spend more money to get what I'm looking for.
Look elsewhere.

The 715s are extremely nicely made. This is the fourth one I own in various finishes and barrel links.
Things I would have changed:I had to return the first two because they barely kept on the paper let alone group. The third one is performing quite nicely.
What others should know:But here's the rub, their customer service takes the stance that if they annoy you enough you'll go away. So be aware if you don't like conflict you should purchase elsewhere.

Things I would have changed:The cylinder doesnt line up with the barrel and it shreds pellets. See comment below. Mine came from Airgun Depot (same difference).
What others should know:Do not buy this revolver. As I said, the cylinder doesn’t line up with the barrel. On single action I can pull back the hammer and the shells prevent the cylinder from rotating fully into position. I have to turn it a little more manually (with my hand) to line up the cylinder with the barrel. Then it fires ok. Double action, forget it. The pellets get shredded or jam the gun. It does this only with shells in it. No shells and the cylinder works fine. It’s like the rubber piece inside rubs the shells too hard and prevents the cylinder from turning all the way. Has to be a manufacturing defect. It does this with the included shells so it’s not an after market shell issue. I included a photo of what it does to pellets. Also, you have to decide if you want this as a pellet gun or dart gun. Even the dart description says they are for smooth barrel guns only. This gun has a rifled barrel and the darts and steel bbs will destroy the rifling.

This is actually a revolver with Dan Wesson name that actually replicates a real Dan Wesson revolver. Currently PA has 20 CO2 revolvers listed as "DAN WESSON" but only 6 of those are actual replicas of DW revolvers. REAL DW revolvers have the cylinder release latch in front of the cylinder, not above the grip. You can't 'practice' for using a REAL DW revolver with the ones that are 'incorrectly' described. The DW revolvers with '715' in the name are the only real replicas.
Things I would have changed:Quit the false description and specs. This is NOT a 6 inch barrel. The barrel is 2 5/8 inches. The part of the gun that replicates the 'shroud' is the only thing that is 6 inches. ? This gun will NOT come close to the advertised specs of 430 fps, with any pellet.
What others should know:I watched numerous video reviews of this DW 715 6 inch barrel before I purchased. The gun with actual (early?) 6 inch barrel gun ran the 5.71 green pellets at 500+ fps
This gun, with 'incorrect' description runs the 5.71 green pellet at 313 fps. The generic 7.0 grain pellets run 274 - 297 fps. The stated 430 fps is FALSE!
The gun is somewhat accurate, but only at 7 - 12 feet. Anything past that, depending on pellet, the groups open up wildly. This is based on the ACTUAL velocities, vs the stated FALSE velocities.
The reviews with real 6 inch gun did accuracy tests at 10 yards! Don't bother with this gun.
Yes, I have tested numerous times and with new CO2 cartridges.

When I ordered this Barra pistol I had to wait 8 months, it was out of stock, and as far as I'm concerned it was worth the wait. I had other pistols in the collection and didn't need it right away. I have a Dan Wesson revolver and one thing I like about this revolver is the cylinder release. Instead of the release behind the cylinder (closer to the trigger like a S&W) this pistol has it in front (like a Dan Wesson). That is the reason I waited, I wanted an actual DW setup. It weighs about the same as a DW. Has an adjustable rear sight. The finish is excellent. The grip fits perfectly in the hand and the ventilated rib completes the package.
What others should know:When I first saw the speed loader I was going to throw it way. I'm glad I didn't, it works purdy good.

It takes awhile to get over how real this revolver looks and feels. Not to mention the time spent polishing it because it's awe striking. Craftsmanship is right up there.
Things I would have changed:FPS should be in the 400 fps plus range to really put it up with the other revolvers like it. Most revolvers I see here on PA shoot 400 fps plus, especially the Crosman Vigilante CO2 Revolver...465 fps.
What others should know:Haven't found the pellet it likes best for now.
Still taking it all in.
Gave it only 4 stars because of low FPS which is only in the mid 300s.

Very well built with visual and dimensional accuracy to the real deal DW 715 that is outstanding. The rubberized grips are also robustly built and very close feeling to the real thing even though they are a two piece clam shell design.
Things I would have changed:1.) Finish has numerous aesthetic defects and lathe groove lines on my particular unit's cylinder are very deep and look odd and poor, which clashes with the rest of the polished metal finish on the frame and barrel shroud. 2.) Rifled barrel spec is 5.5" when in fact it is actually 2.55" rifled with the remaining 2.95" being a way over sized smooth bore tube the shorter rifled barrel slides into. So I would change it back to specified listing of 5.5" rifled.
What others should know:Just be very aware the spec for the rifled barrel on this "6 inch Steel Grey Pellet Revolver" is not accurate, so if you are choosing it because of the 5.5" rifled barrel, you will instead receive a 2.55" rifled barrel per the new ASG version. If you are so inclined and adequately skilled you could mod and add a longer rifled barrel, but be aware that would most likely void any future warranty help if needed. You be the judge.
That said, it is still a great well built pellet/bb pistol for the money. Truly accurate replica to the actual real DW 715 revolver and built like a tank.

First, I'll qualify this review by saying that I have years of experience feeding my family, competing, and gunsmithing pistols. I also own and shoot 21 handguns including 11 airguns. I bought this gun because I was looking for a very accurate multi-shot daily shooter. Since this gun was a Wesson clone with good looks, good design, adjustable sights, 6'' rifled barrel and a crisp trigger it looked like it would fill the bill. Also, all the reviews I read seemed to agree on the accuracy. Sadly, I was very disappointed and after a lot of testing and investigation, ended up returning the gun due to accuracy and design issues. The gun is beautiful with a very nice finish. It does show fingerprints and smudges easily though. Fit and finish is good, as is the weight and balance in the hand. Grips are very Hogue like and fit my hand well with a good rubbery tack. Function was perfect and the trigger was crisp with no creep. The only problem was...it wouldn't shoot!
Things I would have changed:The best grouping I could get at 7 yards, off a rest, was 3.25'' C-C! I could easily get three times the accuracy out of my $40.00, plastic, P17. Gun would also not hold P.O.I. and I was constantly readjusting the sights. I may have had a defective gun, but when I discovered that the rifled 6'' barrel was only 2.5'' long with the balance being oversized shroud, I decided I had found the problem and returned the gun. Pyramid was very good at handling this for me.
What others should know:If accuracy isn't your primary goal this may make a great gun as looks, fit, finish, and feel were great.

I liked the look the feel and the trigger pull.
What others should know:It jammed on me either first six rounds. Tried several different styles of pellets and I couldnt get through six shells without a jam. After further inspection I found the seal between the cylinder and hammer came unseated. I returned it and got a replacement in two weeks.

Had to give this one 5 stars because of quality. I originally purchased the 4 inch 715 Dan Wesson because the 6 inch wasn't in stock, so I pre ordered the six inch. Waited 3 months and 12 days before I received it. It was really worth the wait!!! Also got he mount for a red dot.

The build quality, the small safety that stays off to you engage it. The pellets load easy from the rear where a primer would be in a real gun. The Co2 under the grip with the built in wrench and the way the grip opens and closes. The weight and realism. Seems to shoot well but have not mega experimented
Things I would have changed:The made in Taiwan on the side of the metal frame. Maybe some dots on the sights. The " shells" fall out pretty easy if you hold the gun at the wrong angle while the cylinder is open.
What others should know:The speed loader is a little hokey.
A tad on the expensive side?
Wanted the snub nose bright finish in the pellet version, or even this with the short short barrel.
Looks like these are hard to find in just the pellet version .
bb versions in snub nose abound, but I did not want that.
Be careful waving this around, it looks and feels real, even close up.
Law enforcement would give this a close lookie see before realizing it was a pellet gun
The brass casing in the cylinder seal the look

With the atrocious heavy single action trigger pull, I suppose this revolver will make a decent looking paper weight on my desk.
Things I would have changed:The atrocious heavy single action trigger.
What others should know:This would be an excellent pistol if the single action trigger was anywhere close to a decent pull weight. As it is it is a very hard and tuff trigger pull. This ruins the overall experience with this pistol and puts it in the replica look at only category , not any type of functional category.
