This is my first SAA since the old Shiloh way back when. This one is a present for my son. I love it so much, I bought 2 of the nickel models for myself. I'm sure his older brother and sister will take those from me but I will have fun with them until then.
Things I would have changed:This pistol needs some wood grip options. I'm going to make a few myself but buying some factory wood grips would be nice.
What others should know:If you have been thinking about getting one of these but just can't decide, if you have ever fancied yourself a cowboy or love western movies, you owe it to yourself to if nothing more, just buy one SAA and give it a spin. If you are like me, that will turn to 2 and a belt and some holsters and so on and so on...

It's a Colt 1873. The weight and balance are just like my real .45. A real quality product.

I like the weathered finish. Overall I think these are the best co2 revolvers available.
Things I would have changed:The only thing I see indicating the Shootist are the white grips and S/N. Also, I would like to see either a more robust hammer spring, or make replacements easily available. Too much to ask that idiots stop encouraging users to fan them on YouTube.
What others should know:Great training for your real SAA to learn point shooting or quick drawing. If you shoot yourself in the foot it is a lesson, not a life lesson. They are inexpensive, too. Around $9 usd for 500 rounds.
The weakest part on these pistols is the hammer spring. DO NOT FAN THIS GUN!! You will break the hammer spring.

As I have been collecting the John Wayne editions of the Colt Peacemakers this one is right at the top of the list ( excluding ) the $ 500 models that are engraved. As the weather has not cooperated, I haven't tried to shoot it yet. I do not expect anything less than all my Peacemakers have produced.

What others should know:I am amazed this model hasn't sold out yet as there were only 600 made. It is Beautiful.

1st time I purchased a CO2 pellet gun...shoots really well. Extremely comfortable, more like my firearm pistols than the PCP's I have.
Things I would have changed:Would be awesome to have the handle as a PCP tank, but would surely be too large =8^)
