    Things I liked:

Very accurate. Well-built. Great value. Easy to load and cock. Fun!

    Things I would have changed:

For an airgun in his price range, I think it will be difficult to beat the accuracy and quality of this gun. I have owned other Gamo air guns (break barrels) and found the accuracy to be poor. But this gun is tremendously accurate.

    What others should know:

I have found a heavier pellet offers greater accuracy in this gun. I'm shooting the H&N Baracuda Match Domed (10.65 grains). I have found this pellet offers impressive accuracy and impact energy. The 20-for-$20 service was money well spent.

This ia the best air rifle for the price. Accurate is an under statement.

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Buy one before a break barrel.

    Things I liked:

Super accurate with the right pellet. 3-9 scope is more than enough for up to 50 yards with this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Would be nice if it was a little quieter and they would use a more durable coating on the metal parts. Scratches easy and rust quickly. Keep it oiled or coat it. Also needs to ship in an appropriate size box. The outer shipping box was about 2" shorter than they gamo rifle box. There was a massive amount of tape holding the outer box closed.

    What others should know:

Once you find the right pellets, it is really accurate. Mine really likes the gamo red fire pellets. At 35 yards from a standing position with a shooting stick, I can easily achieve less than 1" groups. Crossman Premier hollow points group just a little over an inch, from the same rest and position. POI is relatively the same for both pellets. Of course both should improve from a bench. The gun diesels a lot for the first 200-250 pellets, then starts to die down a bit. The clouds of smoke and the smell of burnt grease were bad enough for me to contact Pyramid Air about. They said it was normal for it to diesel like this and that it should die down as the gun breaks in.

    Things I liked:

This is my second air rifle as an adult. First I purchased a Benjamin Marauder in .25 caliber, the 2nd gen model. What an airgun! I wanted a gas or a spring piston, and several reviews of this rifle were so good, and the price was so low, I just had to try it. I have not been disappointed! It's taken a little getting used to a springer, but this thing has already rewarded with basically out-of-the-box accuracy. It likes JSBs (15.89 grain domed) and RWS Meisterkugeln, and does well with Predator polymags and H&N Hornets. I think the JSBs are most accurate- about 3/4" at 25 yards, shooting from standing position with a rest. So, I think I can bring that group down. And this is only with maybe 150 rounds so far. It took a little getting used to cocking and loading, but now it's a quick, mindless routine. Seems to like a loose artillery hold.

    Things I would have changed:

I would love a better trigger, but for $180! who can argue? I might upgrade down the road to a Charlie da Tuna.

    What others should know:

I took mine apart and cleaned it and then re-oiled it. I suppose this is not recommended (does it void the warranty?) but mine only detonated once after that. Scope has worked so far and seems to be holding zero just fine. Can't wait to take it out hunting!

This thing blows. It has good accuracy, but it stops working after a couple months; i bought the same one twice and they stopped working. The lever would get stuck going two thirds of the way down. This has happened twice.

    Things I would have changed:

    Fix the lever problems.

    Things I liked:

While I've only shot this 5 times, so far, and put about a hundred pellets through it, I'm already achieving some very tight groups at 50 feet with Crosman Premier Hollow Points straight out of the tin. The rifle feels solid, the underlever makes it easy to cock, the rotating breach took only a few shots to get used to and the included scope works well. I like this quite a lot and my current estimate is that this rifle is a real sleeper. Being able to put the lead right where you want it is the name of the game and this one does that.

    Things I would have changed:

Built-in sling mounting points would have been nice, Hopefully, Gamo will start adding them in the future.

    What others should know:

Average velocity of the 14.3 grain pellets I am using is right about 730 fps. I had the rifle tested and chronographed prior to delivery. True to expectatations, the first 20 or so rounds were a bit scattered, but the last ten of those were within a two inch spread. Tightest group so far, again at fifty feet, is a ragged cloverleaf with all holes overlapping. About one hundred pellets shot and already getting this result. I definitely like this gun.

    Things I liked:

This is my first pellet gun, I have never shot another, I do remember shooting my brother's Daisy many moons ago. So I have little air gun experience and only some fire arm experience to compare it to. My husband and I have put about 1500 rounds through it in the past few weeks since we got it from PA. I like the weight the most. I am a 73 year old vertically challenged woman, more petite, well maybe more so 30 years ago. But weight to me is an issue. I also like the cocking, it is much easier for me sitting, but I can manage standing. It seems quite accurate, my husband set up an old frying pan of mine in the field at 100yds and I can hit it more times than not, that is with about 50 clicks added to the rear sight set at 30yds. There is really no kick, it just squirms a little. My husband was a little skeptical about me buying a gun that could only dent a can, but he's really into it now.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger pull is longer than any gun I have ever shot. I am still not used to it. On the bench it is no problem, but standing it affects my shooting. The other thing is the length of pull. I had to take the pads out and it is still a little long. I have child stocks on both my .410 and .22lr.

    What others should know:

When you buy a gun here make sure they ship it in a box that fits. The gun box was about 2" longer than the shipping box and they just taped it. The gun box got damaged and so did the scope, but I don't use one anyway and it just adds weight for me. The gun was fine. PA does ship their pellets well protected though. The Gamo hunter ammo did not work well. Some fit well, some were loose and some were so tight even after using a bamboo stick the skirts would get clipped off by the breech. We gave up using those. The Gamo match worked well, only 3 bad out of the bunch. Bought 3 tins of Crosman at Wally World and have pretty much shot all of them up, very loose. Have ordered JSB's from PA, we'll see how those go. Noise level is quieter than a Subsonic 22lr but quite a bit louder than 22lr CCI Quiet. Clean the barrel before shooting.

    Things I liked:

I would rate this as the best air gun that Gamo makes. I have had others and got rid of them. But this one is different. For me nice balance and handling. The cocking is smooth and positive and for me easy. I notice no twang at all. Accu is the new name for the CFX so the design has been around for many years and proven.

    Things I would have changed:

I could find nothing I would want to change.

    What others should know:

This rifle is easy to hold on target. Does not seem to wonder around while aiming. Trigger as is, is just fine as it comes. Rifle is not to heavy and has a solid feel. Mine seems to like the Air Arms Field 16 gr. I have the .22. I did some reading on the UK forums and they too give favorable results. They also mention good results with the Air Arms Field pellet both for .177 and .22. BSA Polaris is the same rifle with a Beech Stock and sold in Europe.

Best springer I have ever shot. Out of the box at 15 yards it was only ¼ inch off. 3 clicks to the right and it was right on. 25 yards groups are less than a dime. AT 50 yards hole on top of hole. I love the scope

Very good gun. I have over 1000 shots down range. H&N FTT 14.66 -5.53 will group in a dime at 35yd. 2in at 50yd and just for fun will pass through a can & stick in tree at 75yd. (UTG 3-12x44) I mounted a 1in magpul picatinny & bi pod. Believe it or not for a springer this likes the bipod better than rest. Helps with consistency for me. If you are considering this buy it you wont be disapointed. The accuracy will put a smile on you face, when you find the right pellett. The SAT Trigger is very good . At 30lb cocking effort I can shoot all day. I feel like I stole this for $180. Christmas in July sale

    Things I would have changed:

Sling stud mounts would of been great. (Mounted my own)

    What others should know:

Barrel needs to be throughly cleaned b4 use there is a ton of grease in there. The gun is a bit on heavy side. Pellett Choosy. I suggest start with H&N see how they feel when they seat. The crossman premier hp would not seat properly in mine felt loose. The scope is OK. Im up for my first teardown & I want to share this as it was very hard to find. Things I liked:

I like the looks of this rifle - it looks business like. The fixed barrel is a good idea and having the safety inside the trigger guard is a good idea. The safety should be an automatic reset, not manual. I like the open sight and zeroing was a piece of cake - haven't mounted the scope yet. The rifle has a pin that goes into the rear scope mount and keeps it from shifting when the rifle is fired (it's an idea that is so simple I wonder why other brands haven't adopted it). The feel of the rifle is good and it is accurate. I use Crosman wadcutters in mine and have had no trouble.

    Things I would have changed:

Pyramyd needs to pay more attention to the packaging for shipping - mine came in a box that was too short and was wrapped with about ten pounds tape. I can't really see any advantage to the rotary breech - the only thing it achieves is to make the rifle more difficult to load. I'm not an expert on these rifles so there maybe a good reason for this arrangement. As mentioned, I do not like the manually set safety, there is too much chance of forgetting to set it. Safety first.

    What others should know:

Before I purchased this rifle I read some reviews that said the rifle lacked power when first fired. One of these reviews suggested that the barrel be cleaned before the first firing - I did that and the dry patch came out black - ran some more dry patches through the barrel until they came out clean. fired the rifle and the pellet didn't even reach the target (30 feet measured) - three more pellets with same results. When I examined the pellet loading, I discovered that the pellets were not being fully seated by the breech. Devised a plastic rod to push the pellet into the breech until it seated - problem solved. From then on the rifle worked great. The only other thing is to remember to set that safety as soon as you pull the cocking lever.

    Things I liked:

Although light, this rifle has a good solid feel to it. The scope is very usable and so far has given me no issues. The rifle does diesel even after 300 pellets but that is diminishing. And yes, I cleaned the barrel before I shot a pellet! I have 4 Hatsan break barrels and none of them come close to the great accuracy of this Gamo. The trigger is smooth and crisp, and cocking is not at all difficult. It just makes me wish for more under lever rifles that are as usable as this one.

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe a gas piston?

    What others should know:

If you hunt, get this rifle. I have the .22 and am always amazed at how accurate and easy to pack around it is.

    Things I liked:

I have had super luck with all my Gamos thru the years and this was no exception. Off the bench at 25 yards once the gun was broken in and I learned to hold it very loose just leting it lay in my front hand without gripping, the gun shot cloverleaf groups with the holes touching. I did swap the scope for a more powerful 4 to 12X by 44 Leapers scope, but used the mount and rings supplied.

    Things I would have changed:

It takes a little getting used to the trigger. It doesn't break on mine like I am used to, instead it is a smooth long pull until the gun goes off.

    What others should know:

Nothing at all do I find wrong with the gun but in the past Gamo would not sell parts to repair some of my other Gamos. I like to work on my own guns, but Gamo wanted me to send them the gun for an overhaul. Maybe this problem is corrected now and Gamo will sell parts to repair their guns.

    Things I liked:

It's an underlever, so the accuracy is good. The trigger is great.Speed of the pellets is 551 fps with H&N Silver Point (17.13 gr.) and 554 fps with H&N Target Trophy (14.66 gr.). I've shot rabbits out to 35 yards. Of course I should mention that I'm at 6300 feet in elevation. So you're not going to get the same speeds as you would get at sea level because the air is much thinner here. For an entry level air gun it is great.

    What others should know:

My advise to anyone thinking about buying an air rifle is to buy an underlever as opposed to a breakbarrel because the barrel is fixed which assures better accuracy. Second, I would advise everyone to use quality pellets that fit snugly in the barrel. Third, I would advise them to choose a good single power scope (4 or 6 power). I've already gone through 3 junk scopes that were not made to take the abuse that an air rifle can dish out.

    Things I would have changed:

make it a gas cylinder gun

    What others should know:

I own an Air Arms TX200 MKIII in .22. It is super sweet and deadly accurate but it should be for what I paid for it(Nice wood and deep bluing - highly recommend it if you have the money). If you want to spend 1/3 of the money - get the ACCU in .22. The ACCU has been proven in side by side testing to be just as accurate and hit just about as hard. After 1000 rounds through it, it has not shifted POI AT ALL. I have been amazed at how dependable and steady this rifle is in any environment. The TX is more stable shot to shot but for 200 bucks, the ACCU is the gun to have. You will not go wrong buying this rifle. Again, amazing.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, fixed barrel, buttpad ( not for recoil but it makes it easy to hold on the shoulder and to stand on the floor and not worry about it slipping). Finally, a trigger on a reasonably priced gun that I can live with. Not the best, but very good. Doesn't seem to be hold sensitive to me. I have a RWS 460 and a Walther LGU. I expect them to be great and they are. I did not expect much from this gun, but, I think I got much more than I expected. I would recommend this for any one wanting a good gun for under 200.

    Things I would have changed:

The habit most companies have of offering a scope as part of a package when they must ( or should) know that it will not stand the vibration and recoil of a spring/nitro piston gun. I did not even try the Gamo scope that came with this gun. The rotating breech is a love/hate deal for me. I think it is a nice tight seal but a not so nice when trying to load a small 17 cal. pellet with fingers. If you do not get it completely flush or better with the chamber, the rotating breech will shave the skirt. That will destroy your accuracy and build up gunk in the mechanism. I use a small, soft tool to finish seating the pellet. When I hear a "click" I know it is clear. That sounds like it would slow the loading process, but, so what? The type of breech is the slowest I have ever encountered anyway, so I will take the accuracy over the speed. Mind you, it is accurate, two inch groups at 50 yds., anytime, any day, for less than $200. Oh, by the way, I'm using a Daisy peep sight.

    What others should know:

Use the Gamo scope on a firearm like a .22 or the like. Seriously, buy a good spring rated airgun scope or a peep sight. Just don't use the Gamo scope on any spring gun. For every one that works, 10 (or more) will fail. Grease the spring to reduce the vibration, it helps. The stock screws are locktited so be careful removing them. Use a good fitting tool.

    Things I liked:

WOW! The accuracy of this gun is amazing! I own almost 100 airguns and specifically 5 Gamo rifles. I have ACCU in .22 cal. The cocking effort is minimal. The SAT trigger is fantastic, especially with a little modification. My trigger now breaks at less than 2 lbs. This comes with a really good, out-of-the-box scope 3-9x40 AO (30-30 Reticle). The gun actually comes with a one-piece scope mount, not the double mount that is display in the photo.

    Things I would have changed:

For this price range there is not much I would change. Maybe offer this in a gas-piston

    What others should know:

This is a terrific rifle that gives you PCP type accuracy. At 20 yard I was shooting 10 shot groups with 14.2 gr RWS HP that measured .34" CTC. I tried numerous types of pellets and the most accurate were the RWS 14.2 gr HP. These pellets Chrono'd at 739.8 FPS. I even expect this to improve in time as the break-in period continues. I have about 400 pellets shot through the rifle and occasionally the gun is still diesels which can vary the velocity occasionally. I put picatinny rails on both sides of the forward stock and used split bi-pods. It loves to be shot off the bi-pods. I modified the SAT trigger and it now performs much better than the CAT trigger. I also upgraded the scope to a 4-16x50 RGP Mil-Dot Reticle. It really didn't need the upgrade as the stock scope works just fine. I just have a giant inventory. I would compare the accuracy to my Walther LGU .177. For this price point you can't beat the performance of the ACCU!
