Things I liked:

Affordable, compact enough, light enough, good amount of power and air usage, shots up to 5 magazines before hitting red level which is not suggested to go into red level so stays in the green, quiet enough for backyard plinking all day long, accurate straight out of box not even cleaning the barrel yet and it just loves shooting 18 to 23 grain slugs with pellet-base, pull-back cocking lever works flawlessly 'i love it', curves of the stock and LOP (length of pull) is perfect for me, trigger is typical Gamo hunter style almost like the Coyote, easy connect male fill port is good as I'm using Nomad II to fill all my pcp, i love the fact that Gamo using left side magazine loading port instead of right as others I'm right-handed & i think makes it easier to swap mag with left hand, the open sight is easily to use and adjustable but i'd add red dot or scope for longer distance.

Things I would have changed:

Please add magazine holders into the synthetic stock and power level adjuster.

What others should know:

You need to have an electric high pressure PCP air pump, i.e. Air Venturi Nomad II, to add air faster and painlessly. Buy the extra magazines you won't regret it.

    Things I liked:

Initially I purchased the Arrow in .22 liked it so much I ordered the .177 . I strictly hunt with my air rifles , the .22 with the Norma 17.6 grain will place 20 shots into the same hole at 40 yards , it's so predictable and uncanny for a cheap rifle. I now am hunting with the .177 so far best it will do is keep 20 shots under a quarter at 40 yards , the more I shoot the .177 the better it gets , I typically shoot upwards of 500 squirrel a season , walking many miles in the process having retired my Disco as my light weight rifle it has been replaced by the Arrow and the Notos as my carry lot guns both fit the bill for hunting , heavy long range guns get less and less use. Plastic and complaints aside it is simply one of the best platforms for carrying and hunting I have , everything is a compromise and the Arrow fills the bill very nicely. My two Arrows will be the last guns that leave my possession and that says a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I have a feeling these are going by the wayside , get one now while you can , stop complaining about the plastic it holds up to my abuse.

    Things I liked:

I am extremely pleased with the Gamo Arrow. This is my first PCP air gun, But my second Gamo. The Arrow is easy to use very accurate and quiet. I get 50 shots out of one filling. There is a slight drop after the 40th pellet, but not bad. Pyramid was great and handled the sale perfectly. The videos provided by Pyramid, are outstanding and make research easy and accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

I would not change anything. With more experience, I might purchase regulated PCP guns.

    What others should know:

I believe strongly that you can count on Gamo air rifles and you can count on Pyramid to do an outstanding job.

Low Price, High Shot Count, Length Of Pull, Open Sights, Easy To Handle!

    Things I would have changed:

So Far Nothing, For The Price It's A Good Deal!

    What others should know:

Gamo made this an entry level economy level PCP Air Rifle and they used a lot of plastic In It's construction, I don't have a problem with that but just be aware! So far It's exceeded my expectations but I've only had It for a month and only fired approximately 100 pellets through It!

    Things I liked:

This is the first PCP rifle I have, I do have several pumps and brake barrel rifles during my life time. This is a whole new world. I really do appreciate Pyramyd and there servase. Reading the reviews and doing the recomendations of having Pyramyd do all the checks was well worth what little they charge for them. I love the gun for what it is I have two other Gamo rifles, for the money they are hard to beat.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

Have Pyramyd do all the checks, You won't be sorry you did.

Quiet, pretty accurate, good shot count.

    Things I would have changed:

    Build quality and QC.

    What others should know:

I bought this rifle a little over a year ago, and it worked great for about nine months of not very heavy usage. It was accurate, very quiet, and functioned reliably. Then one day I pulled the trigger and heard a click, but no air and pellet did not fire. It has a three year warranty so I thought I was all set. I sent it in for repairs, and the shipping was $45 to the repair facility and $15 for their return shipping. (S. FL to Arkansas). Repair rep said a valve had broken in the gun and they would replace the valve. When I got the gun back, it worked for another five months until I was shooting today and pulled the trigger and 'click" no air and pellet did not fire. I don't think I will spend another $60 on shipping to re-repair a $200 gun. At the time I bought this gun I also bought a cheap ($230) no-name Chinese pcp compressor from Amazon. It's odd that the compressor has functioned without issue while the Gamo gun from a European factory has failed twice.

    Things I liked:

Great air rifle at a great price! I have a pest problem, raccoons, and armadillos, I’ve already killed 2 armadillos in my yard in the middle of the night, digging my yard up, can’t use a scope at night and my average shooting Distance is only 30 feet, so this pcp rifle is perfect for the job and is extremely accurate! And the raccoons tear up my bird feeders, but not anymore! It’s the perfect product for my needs!!

    Things I would have changed:

    Wouldn’t change anything

    Things I liked:

Light weight. Very quiet, back yard friendly, can be filled with a hand pump, but I’m old so I use my scuba tank or compressor.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure if i would change anything but the arrow bolt is a little werid to get use to, but it’s what makes the rifle unique.

    What others should know:

The first rifle I received had a bad air leak. Called Pyramdair and they sent me a return label I sent it back and in a week I received my new rifle! Awesome customer service!!!!!
Just a suggestion, fill the rifle up and let it set for a few days to make sure it doesn’t have a slow leak, new rifle passed with flying colors.

Simplicity and solid built. Some call it an "Enter Level" PCP with more expensive rifles costing hundreds of dollar more! Backyard friendly, accurate and quiet! I plan to try in on pests and small game sometime in the future! GAMO! You hit a home run and Pyramid always has the best service people and price's!

    Things I would have changed:

Not to hot about the Arrowhead cocking pull, but can live with it!

    Things I liked:

This is to correct a one-star review I left a couple days ago. I incorrectly thought the magazine wasn't fitting the gun because it didn't snap all the way in and flush to the receiver, but it was designed to hang out about 3/4". The performance of this gun is stellar and the accuracy is astounding, given the reasonable price. Actually, it looks and performs like it should cost a lot more. When you read my last testimonial, I'll tell you how I cleared out my flue cap on my wood stove, which would have cost me the price of the gun, had I had it done professionally. So this gun has already paid for itself.

    Things I would have changed:

A better and more detailed instruction manual would be better for a gun of this quality. I had mine sighted in at the factory and they did a good job as this thing is capable of one-hole accuracy at around 25 yards and probably 1" groups at 50 yards. I intend to use this for predator suppression as varmints are threatening my chicken coop. I think that the .22 cal pellets are more than capable to do away with the possums, skunks and raccoons that are terrorizing my hens.

    What others should know:

Here is a very unusual tale about how I used this rifle to correct a problem with my wood stove that had the potential to cost me a lot of money due to my 6" triple-walled stainless steel stove pipe clogging at the weather cap, which has a fire suppressing mesh installed to protect from sparks or embers igniting the brush and trees surrounding my house. Since the thing is 25' high due to being next to my 2nd floor, there was no way I was going to be able to get up there to clean out that screen. Since I just received my air rifle, I decided to try something........after verifying the accuracy of this gun, I braced it against my rose arbor on my deck and shot a ten round pattern of pellets into the side of the screen, watching with satisfaction as the creosote deposits flew off as grey particles and dust. I reloaded walked to the other side and repeated the exercise. When I lit my wood stove, it performed flawlessly when it previously smoked so bad that it was impossible to light.

    Things I liked:

Very poor quality build, most of it is plastic. Plastic barrel shroud and receiver are plastic and molded together. The internals are mostly plastic: trigger, various parts in the receiver, etc It has under average accuracy, 1-1.5" at less than 30 yards. Past 30 yards i could rarely hit anything. When shooting, in about 1 shot out of 5 the cocking bolt/arrow will not be locked properly and a burst of air an nose will get in your face. The magazine has a rubber o'ring which broke after several hundred pellets. If you want something cheap and worth the money, buy one of the Beeman PCP offerings (Chief 2 plus, underlever, etc). They have a solid build, and are quite accurate (have a few of them). The only thing worse with the Beeman PCPs is their shot string, you get 30 good shots instead of 40 good shots with the Arrow. Gamo's first PCP (AKA Gamo Arrow) has the build quality of a Crosman/Daisy multipump but worse accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not buying it

    Lightweight, accurate, quiet,well built,cheap .

    Things I would have changed:

For this price nothing. How can you ask for anything more. Maybe extra mag.

    What others should know:

I just received it today and had so much fun shooting it. I normally shoot 30cal rifles and had a bunch of .22 pellets that I wanted to get rid of. I have a .22 Marauder and Avenger which I have tune for certain pellets and this Gamo Arrow was to be used to get rid of the excess pellets. Wow, I wise surprise by its performance compared to my other rifles. The report is quieter than the Marauder which was tune it up a bit. Also build quality seems better than my Avenger. Accuracy is good with different pellets (1 inch groups at 30yds) possibly better with right pellet. On a full charge it seems to shoot 2 or 3 mags before losing accuracy but will need more testing to be sure. The trigger is comfortable and predictable and not overly heavy. It is hand pump friendly. I have guns that cost ten times more but I will adding this one to my collection.

    Things I liked:

After having this platform for a while I am doing a follow up review. I am shooting the pellets that I cast myself from the NOE 217-20 RF mold and have taken over 200 squirrel with this pellet , platform combination, accuracy is minute of squirrel at 40 yards all head shots. Prior to the cast pellets I was using the 14.3 grain Crosman shot over 100 squirrel with that combination, minute of squirrel accuracy at 40 yards , all head shots. The 20 grain cast pellets kill squirrel better than almost all the other pellets I have hunted with out of the arrow. I have all but retired my Disco in favor of the Arrow and the Avenger for longer ranges with the NOE cast slug 217-30 FN . The Arrow is a wonderful absolutely quiet hunting rifle. Simply love it.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Best moderate range hunting rifle for carry due to light weight and accuracy.

Keep it under 40 yards and it's stellar.

Best money one can spend for what it is.

    Things I liked:

I really like the size weight and design of the stock. This .177 version is badass. I can shoot 1 inch group at 45 yards no problem with the 4.52 Baracuda pellets. some of my pellets are a little bent if they weren't maybe do better. i filled to the green line and shoot about 40 times and it's only 1/2 down the green section, notice no drop in accuracy at all after 40 shots. it's very back yard friendly and quiet which is very nice for a change. I like the trigger as well it is perfect weight in my opinion.

    Things I would have changed:

not sure what I would want to change at all. it does a great job for the price range. I wish it was easier to pump these PCP rifles up without buying a compressor... that's about it.

    What others should know:

This is a shooter. i had problems hitting a 4" target at 95 yards in the wind, but i did hit it once in 8 shots. i shot all around it. I just purchased a simmons rifle scope 4-12 x 42 and it had the same dull color of paint on it and matches great. i am going to purchase some new pellets and see if they are in better shape and not so many bent ones. i think this is going to make a fantastic varmit gun.
