Gun has a nice light weight to it. Trigger is soft and accuracy is impeccable.

The scope needs upgraded. Center view is fine but blurry around it and a zoom scope with the accuracy and power would be nice. Auto safety would be a plus also.

From the box, this air rifle surprised me. First, the bore was whistle clean. No fouling of any kind. Second, the 10-for-$10 chrono results showed no drop in velocity, with an average velocity in the mid-900s. Yes! All ten shots were incredibly consistent with no reduction in velocity as I discovered with another air rifle I purchased last summer (where the advertised velocity was, in .22, was 950 fps after 10-for-$10, the velocity dropped to 710 fps). Third, the weight of the rifle was incredibly light compared to my Benji .22 Trail NP. And, last, the trigger is smooth through the first stage, and the second stage breaks at what seems to be ounces. These are four very important things to like in this air gun.

I'd add a provision for a sling, like the Benji Trail NP I own. Although one wouldn't tire out hand carrying this baby around, it would be nice to have one's hands free while woods walking with this gun. Second, I'd offer the rifle without a factory scope, as this rifle begs for something better than the 4x scope that accompanied this rifle. I bought a Bushnell 4-12x44AO air/rimfire scope when I bought this rifle. Mounted it with a Beeman one-piece base that keeps the scope low on the rifle--where I like it, and steady on the dovetail with the vertical scope stop.

At this stage, I'd say this gun is truly a keeper. It looks good, and is reasonably accurate with the PBA ammo at 33 feet. With Crosman .177 domes, the group shrinks to a point that is almost immeasurable (I'll include pictures after my first tin of pellets). I am really impressed with Gamo's newest iteration of their Bone Collector Bull Whisper IGT air rifle.

my only other air rife is a Beeman GS1050 with the worst trigger ever, the Gamo SAT trigger is smooth and light enough but has a long travel and no clean break point. The gas piston is great! no twang or crash of a coil spring, more like shooting a .22 rimfire. Accuracy was much better than the Beeman out of the box and even shoots the PBA pellets well.

Broken record here, Gamo needs a better scope or sell the guns without one, and the safety lever is too close to the trigger. This air rifle has a lot of plastic, even the locking plunger for the break barrel. I hope it holds up over time.

Overall I'm very pleased for a gas piston rifle in this price range, add a good scope (I added a RWS 6X) and you are good to go!

Good power form the power plant, great looking rifle. It seems once broken in would be preaty accurate.

The trigger still needs a shorter 2nd stage and forearm inserts seem like they wont last long if you unassembe often.

I beleive for the cost there are better choices. The rifle isnt as quite as they claim on adds either...

Trigger is smooth. Points and shoots well. The Gamo scope that comes with it is not all that great. Replaced it wiht Bushnell that was well worth it. Power of the rifle is impressive!

For a field/target rifle I would not change a thing.

This gun is very accurate and quite I would recommend this gun to anyone I found that H&N Pellets shoot very accurate in this gun after trying several brands I also installed a better scope at 30 yards I can hold a 3/4" group with 5 shots defiantly install loc tite on all screws holding the scope I cant wait to kill some squirrels this fall

Appearance. Mechanical operation. Weight.

The stock. The barrel. Didn't get to adjusting the trigger. After getting it to hit something it would not group. Found the barrel and shroud/silencer misaligned causing the inconsistant escaping air around the pellet to cause dispersment thereof. The shroud/silencer appears to be one piece. The soft stock inserts smell like skunk. Wherever one keeps this rifle stored the area will smell the same. Sad!

Attempted to contact Gamo USA at the supplied phone # and with each attempt got put on auto hold. Left messages both on line and phone. Have yet to hear from Gamo USA. Buyer and seller be ware. Pyramid Air have been very helpful as this gun is just a few days old. Getting ready to box it back up and do an exchange. I won't be getting another bone collector.

Price - Only $219. Accurate - Nickle size 10 shot groups at 50 feet with .22 H&N Field Trophy and Baracuda Match pellets, 1.5 inch groups with Crow Mags. Quiet - Much quieter than guns with a spring power plant, no Twang! As long as you stay under 1050 fps you won't break the sound barrier (CRACK!). Much less vibration and bounce than a spring cylinder airgun. I like the Bull Whisper barrel. Seems to do the whisper thing well. Trigger - Much better trigger than other Gamo I have had. No Trigger creep with a crisp break. Light Weight - A pound or more lighter than many other airguns. Look / Feel - Rubber stock inserts are nice and provide good grip, bluing on the top receiver is better quality than other Gamo I have. Green composite stock has good feel. Not sure about the color. Would have preferred dark earth or black.

Throwaway scope. I liked the 4x scope as it was shorter than others I have used. It broke after 150 rounds. Now the reticle spins/rotates inside of the scope tube. It now looks like an X instead of a +. Gonna see if Pyramid will let me exchange it or credit me toward a better scope. I recommend a 1 piece scope mount also.

For varmints I would definitely use the .22 instead of the .177. Pellets are larger and heavier. They keep more impact energy down range.
