The power on this thing is sick!! Goes through anything, yes in know, it's not all about what it will blow a hole through. The scope is pretty good, like the red dot . But I keep leaving the switch on a killing the battery, oops. The wood is also very nice. I wrapped the butt in leather so I don't scratch the wood, and made myself a nice sling for it.
Things I would have changed:Give a synthetic stock option (even though I like the wood) also some where to mount a sling cause it's rather heavy.
What others should know:It's loud, unless you use very heavy pellets and even heavy pellets most of the time crack the sound barrier. Def not a pinker. This thing is purely hunting. Also not kid friendly. 1 cause they probably will never be able to cock it and 2 because I wouldn't trust them with something this powerful. If you don't mind spending over 4 hundred for an airgun, buy this, there's no other 177

It can be tamed to shoot well.
Things I would have changed:Stop making this in .177 caliber and put on open sights. There are too few .177 pellets that will handle this power level from a springer. Open sights are the only way to determine if the scope is broken when you get shotgun level groupings from this gun.
What others should know:Don't use the recommended ultralight pellets in this rifle. The .177 Gamo Raptors (just over 5 grains) go supersonic and you will get a very loud CRACK. Sounds about the same as a .22lr, and will eventually ruin the rifle or scope or both. At the LEAST use a 10.5gr lead pellet.
I got the best groups with the JSB Monsters (about 13.5 gr). There was no supersonic crack, no keyholing, and no wide pattern of shots at 20 yards. Velocity was about 840fps at the muzzle with the Monsters.
The best I could manage was 1.5" at 30 yards with the JSB pellets.
The extra weight of this rifle helps with the recoil, but it is terrible to carry around. Also the cocking effort is not worth the gains in velocity. For most airgun activities, the Diana M34 in .22 will fill the bill at the same price with better accuracy and a more pleasant shooting experience.

out of the box tack driver, at 15 yards I was able put one pellet right next to another
Things I would have changed:even the .25 pellet is greatly affected by wind, it seems like even the slightest breeze affects accuracy
What others should know:great buy BUT you will need to understand its limitations

the power N the long range, groundhog still hate me at 80 plus yards and can't beat having your own air source
Things I would have changed:the cocking is brutal but I guess that's the price you have to pay for power and long range, this guy is heavy and long and its trigger pull is heavy, thinking of replacing the trigger
What others should know:the scope is crap but so is All other air gun scopes, this guy can get frustrating trying to break him in I'm finding the heavier pellet like a 20 plus grain is having the best consistent accuracy but still doing further tests .the gun is sensitive to its holder so be patient with it and don't concentrate too hard I have it in 22 caliber and though I say my 357 Benjamin Bulldog is my favorite this guy gets more action out of me so is my main. every other day its either dropping a pigeon or ground squirrel

Overall I like this gun a lot! The wood detail is awesome, the style and comfort is great and the power is SICK! This is by far the most powerful .177 I've ever shot. This thing will go clean through quarters with the right ammo! (And just about everything else) it has some major penetration power! Too bad I couldn't find a .22 cal though. Oh, also I love the safety placement and how it doesn't engage after every shot like most rifles. Just crack and cause sonic booms over and over, good weight balance.
Things I would have changed:Offer it in synthetic stock so you don't have to worry about scratching the nice stock.
What others should know:Definitely a great workout if you're using this for targets. I will have one jacked arm eventually! Very loud, so do not plan on shooting this in your yard (assuming your neighbors don't like hearing gunshots) if you switch up the ammo you can get quieter. Nice size and overall great gun. Lots of fun, invest in a sling, I made my own custom sling.

Style, and the wood.
Things I would have changed:Maybe the weight, if possible.
What others should know:I've not had a chance to shoot it .

The gun is a work of art, one of my friends got this and said he took out a wild pig with it. I didn't believe him. Now I do. The scope is beautiful and works like a charm. I got this and added it to my scope, it made it look even cooler. https://www.pyramydair.com/product/gamo-laser-and-light-with-1-scope-mount?a=3134 Not much else to say except that this gun is a total boss.
Things I would have changed:Wooden stock is heavy and I'm always worried about scratching it, I would prefer a rugged synthetic stock option. Other than that this is a perfect gun.
What others should know:1650 FPS is not a good thing in this case, They got those numbers by using a super lightweight ammunition (with lead they say 1250 but in my experience it is closer to 1200. The speed at which the sound barrier breaks is near 1100 FPS, and a pellet being pretty small is easily affected by anything that changes while its flying, when the sound barrier breaks it creates a physical force going close to 1100 FPS if the pellet doesn't hit anything and continues to fly, it will slow down, and if it slows down enough the "force" catches up with it and makes the pellet spin which decreases the accuracy immensely. But there is a way to solve the problem, if you put a heavy enough pellet in it will slow down the FPS, this creates a much more accurate shot and raises the actual knock down power of the pellet.

This rifle is very powerful, hits like a sledge hammer goes through almost anything, fit and finish is very good, mine was made in england. .177 cal.
Things I would have changed:The scope it comes with is junk-throw it out or sell it. The trigger is hard to get use to.I put a leapers 4x16x50 scope on mine and installed a Charlie Da Tuna trigger much better combo. Maybe offer a synthetic stock to shed weight?
What others should know:This rifle is 10 plus pounds heavy,if you carry it out hunting you will build some muscles. Also loading this rifle takes a lot of muscles.Takes a lot of practice to be accurate you have to hold it the same way every shot.

Looks, feel, power accuracy. I took this rifle out of the box and installed a Charlie Da Tuna trigger upgrade. I replaced the scope with a Bushnell Banner 6X18X50 AO scope. Sat at my bench with the gun on a lead sled. The scope was optically centered and it was very close to bulls eye at 20 yards. I didn't have to change a thing. I shot probably 3 rounds of 15 at three different targets and the groups on all three were about 1 1/2". I was using the PBA pellets that came with the gun. Simply amazing!!! I fell in love.
Things I would have changed:Trigger and scope and I did.
What others should know:Takes plenty of muscle to shoot it for a while.

Excellent build quality, wooden stock is beautiful. Bluing excellent and the Matt black bull barrel complements the bluing nicely. It's chunky metalwork is compelling I can't stop looking at mine. I greased the spring because it was dry and crunchy. Over my chrony the .25 Field Target Trophies do average of 820 fps giving 30.2 ftlbs..in .25 that is huge power for a Springer.
Things I would have changed:Nothing I'm happy with mine no doubts.
What others should know:Build quality is excellent, it handles beautifully and nice shooter. .25 cal is definitely the one I would go for with 30 ftlbs on tap. Will destroy any pest at reasonable air gun ranges. I love mine.
