I bought this gun with pest control in mind. I needed a gun that is accurate. can be reloaded quickly, and has a gas ram power plant. This rifle seemed to be the best fit. The one piece scope mount is rock solid and the optic is OK. Recoil is quite light considering its power, making it less hold sensitive than some other guns. I have not felt the need to adjust the trigger since it shot well right out of the box. Starlings and sparrows are in serious trouble inside of 50 yards with rocket pellets, and being .22 caliber, impact is audible...LOL.
Things I would have changed:You're getting a lot of rifle at this price, there's not much to change other than adding a second magazine. After all it does have a place for it. And of course something needs to be said about the optic. It is functional at best. I'm putting pellets where I need to for now and it is holding zero. Again, at this price, can't complain. I plan to upgrade the scope with a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40.
What others should know:No matter what you decide to buy, look for a gun that comes with a one piece scope mount, if not you will likely be disappointed with accuracy or ability to hold zero. My rifle is a Gen. 2 in .22 caliber and likes Gamo Rocket pellets.

The power and accuracy, very pleased with the 22 caliber version
Things I would have changed:Nothing, perhaps maybe better scope. However the one that's on it's more than adequate
What others should know:This unit hits very hard make sure you have adequate backboards, or open area

Pretty good power and accuracy for the price. Magazines feel a bit beefier and secure than some others. Even though I have a longer list of specific complaints, it's generally a great value.
Things I would have changed:The trigger and safety are both made of plastic, and the build quality just feels bad, like it could fall apart. Some lateral wiggle in it too. Hopefully the trigger will never be subjected to any impact or strong force, but still. The trigger generally doesn't feel great either and a lighter/smoother pull would be nice. It doesn't have open sights, which is unfortunate because the included scope really sucks.
What others should know:It is NOT "whisper" soft. It is quieter than some other unsuppressed airguns. Using lead free .22 pellets

The rifle is easy to use and very accurate. The scope was easy to mount. Once zeroed in I was groping shots the size of a nickel. I think the Gamo makes a quality product.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Very powerful, shoots through a half inch piece of plywood.excellent for pest control.

I bought this gun a few years ago. Since I've had it , within 2and a half years I got 38 rats with this air gun . Can't ask for a better air gun.
Things I would have changed:Nothing !
What others should know:Everybody has there own opinion on what works for them. For me this air gun did what I needed it to do . KILL RATS. 38 and counting !!!

Good look and feel. The fit and finish is quality as well. Problems with parts.
Things I would have changed:Third-rate scope. I bought the Swarm Whisper, then upgraded to the multi-shot because the rep said it had a better scope. I'm no expert, but even after I adjusted it, the accuracy is iffy at best. The worst and cheapest part is the spring that is attached to the autoloader. It crapped out after about 30 rounds. Gamo sent another, but it's a weak and low grade part. They need a quality review and upgrading on parts/accessories.

90 percent of air guns you review always have a mixed rating. You will not see that with the Gamo swarm multi shot series! Trust me and don't throw away your money on other break barrel rifles just because they have a higher price tag, pretty finish or brand that is considered top of its line. I've have those too. None of them are going to out perform these rifles guaranteed! Super light weight! Cocking effort is like taking candy from a baby! Back to back to back bulls eyes at 25 yards straight out of the box!!!!!! Oh and hard hitting as hell!
Things I would have changed:I would not change a thing! The gamo scope is weak but gets the job done.
What others should know:For the sake of eye comfort upgrade the scope.
Less than 15minutes and this gun was zeroed in at 25 yards with all bulls eyes.....And that's out of the box!
I realize that Crosman pellets are cheap to buy but 1-they are lead which is very bad for the environment and 2 they don't make for an ideal hunting pellet.
Get the predator GTO alloy domed pellets! Pricey but well worth it.

Great value for the money! Comfortable grip. The multishot feature is a game changer! The trigger safety is a great. Much to my surprise, the accuracy of this air rifle spot on!
Things I would have changed:I'm not a fan of the scope that came with this so I swapped it out. It's a bit louder than what I expected , but it's not a deal breaker by any means.

Fit/finish are very nice in this range with the power I wanted in a .177. For a non target rifle it sure hits where you aim it consistently- just know you need a better scope than the 4x cheap that it comes with. The 10x shot works very well ad I actually like this arrangement on the barrel that sits up verticle as it is easier to clean, check your gaskets and barrel access. The trigger is decent-a hunting rifle trigger yet you can still stack in one he from 25+ yards and out to ranges well beyond what a .177 usually can do. It is not super quiet but far from being loud. I plink in my back yard with no problems from neighbors.
Things I would have changed:Better scope and iron sights but that would move it out of this price point-which for the money you get a very tight, well shooting and pretty powerful rifle. It is not a toy.
What others should know:I got mine to upgrade my airguns from the pump ups-which still work fine for fun and pests/small game at a low pricepoint for the rifle and ammo.. I teach survival in primitive and austere environments where an airgun(s) and slingshots/bow are used for small game food harvest without the loud report of firearms and naturally just the fun of plinking with the great accuracy of this rifle. Anyone can use this rifle. It requires just a little effort to break the barrel and cock it but nothing a that can not be easily done. This would be for using in times oof need for small game hunting w/o attracting attention-which it does well. You can put away thousands of pellets economically and this rifle is very tough, reliable and easy to work on and easily keep maintained and clean..It is relatively light and very easy to shoot. The power piston stays tight/poweful for many years shooting. I have had mine for a couple years now and it is keeper and very overlooked but amazing rifle.
