the rear sights stink. anyone know where to get adjustable rear sights that will fit this rifle??? also, for 22 cal., could not get it to shoot straight....probably because of daisy pells....

Power and accuracy.

Add a scope

Great gun with good accuracy makes bad news for squirrels. The gun is great without scope to begin with. I put on a scope to make it a lot more fun to shoot. I had shot down more than ten squirrels.

Very good air gun, fun to shoot, very accurate and I liked the easy .177 to .22 barrel 4 step exchange. The .22 report is moderate in the back yard and the air rifle seems to be well-balanced. I have not shot the rifle with the .177 barrel - yet. All in all, not bad considering my rifle was "hecho in Mexico".

I would make the "breaking" barrel action a bit easier. Other than that - nothing.

Not much else. I get the impression this air rifle will - like a fine wine - will shoot much better over time.

love the power the feel and the look. havent had chace at long range shots but my 10 meter shots are fanominal. my shot groups are the size of the fist shot hole. i also did not know that pellet in pellet was posible. i love the ECC design easy cal change. the .22 cal i find my gamo magnum rounds do well and .177 i prefer meisterkugeln.

dont forget cleaning kit i put over 1000 rounds through this gun when i first got it. did not clean it and had trouble keeping good shot groups. after a good cleaning try a rws hypermax round for your first shot and enjoy that crack of breaking the sound barrier.

This is my 3rd post on this particular rifle, and I have only grown more fond of it. It is very accurate with the Miesterkruglin pellets in the 8.2 and a little less so with the 7.0 pellets. I have not had either of the 8.2 or 7.0 to go super sonic except when I clean and then lube with Remington Oil, then every time they would BOOM. The one thing that I can't explain, is that when I used the 7.0 I actually had a lower POI than with the 8.2 pellets.

THIS IS A FOLLOW UP TO A PREVIOUS POST. I HAVE HAD TIME TO SHOOT BOTH .177 & THE .22 PELLETS THROUGH THE RIFLE AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE. THE RIFLE HAS " SWEETENED " ( IF THAT'S A WORD ) OVER USEAGE, AND I'AM NOW GETTING ALL OF THE .177 TO GO SUPER-SONIC WHICH DOES MAKE FOR A VERY LOUD REPORT, SO I HAVE ELECTED TO RESTRICT NEIGHBORHOOD SHOOTING TO JUST .22 PELLETS, WHICH WILL NOT BREAK THE SOUND BARRIER. ACCURACY HAS IMPROVED; HOWEVER; THE SCOPE WAS ON BACK-ORDER AT THE TIME I PLACED MY ORDER, SO I HAVE AS OF YET BEEN UNABLE TO TRY IT OUT WITH THE AID OF OPTICS, WHICH I'M CERTIAN WILL ENABLE ME TO SHRINK MY GROUPS CONSIDERABLY.

JUST GOT MINE TODAY (7.17.08) AND AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY ASPECT OF THIS GUN. HAVE'NT REALLY HAD TIME TO DO ANY ACCURACY TESTING YET, BUT I'AM QUITE CERTIAN THAT IS DOES THE ADVERTISED FPS'S THEY CLAIM.

THE WOOD IS NOT TOP SHELF, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND IT'S NOT THAT BAD. I WOULD RATHER THEY PLACE A HIGHER PRIOTORY ON THE OTHER PARTS THAT MAKE UP THE RIFLE; WHICH IT APPEARS THEY HAVE.

IF THE MAIN REASON FOR YOUR PURCHASE IS STEALTH ( QUITENESS ) THE AGUILA SUPER COLIBRI LONG RIFLE IN A .22 BOLT ACTION RIFLE IS ACTUALLY MORE QUITE THAN THIS AIR GUN. I STILL WOULD HAVE PURCHASED THIS AIR RIFLE BECAUSE OF THE HUGE COST SAVINGS IN SHOOTING.

Dual caliber is great. I shoot 0.177 for target practice in the morning and then 0.22 for hunting small game and pests in the afternoon. This gun is well put together. It is also very accurate and the scope is easy to zero. I mainly shoot Meisterkugeln and other RWS pellets in it.

I was under the impression that the gun was Swiss made. Then someone told me that Hammerli has their guns made in Germany. Not a big deal, but when I got it, it said made in Mexico on the side. :-) Also, I would shoot heavier pellets in this gun. The light Daisy .177 ones I tried seem to diesel/combust making a loud crack with some smoke.

I love being able to change calibers at a whim. Accurate, even with open sights ( 1/2" groups @ 20 yards). I can't wait to scope her. Hard Hitter!

I would like a nicer stock.

Obviously, this rifle needs to be zeroed every time you change barrels or ammunition. It shoots tight groups with Meisterkugeln and Beeman pellets in both .177 and .22. It will not group with crossman pellets. This rifle, as with any other, doesn't forgive bad marksmanship.
