    Things I liked:

It has good power. Accuracy seems fine but I'm not through break in yet. I hope it gets a little more consistent as time goes on.

    Things I would have changed:

It is heavy but that may go with the power. It is also a little tough to cock. An able bodied person will have no trouble loading it a few times but I can feel it after 20 shots.

    What others should know:

The open sights are fine at 20 yards or so. I have not scoped it yet so i can't say how hard it us on scopes.

It's a quality gun for the price, accurate, hits very hard in .30 cal. No issues so far at all.

    Things I would have changed:

    Lower cost for pellets

    Things I liked:

I purchased my Hatsan 135 .30 cal in July of last year (2017) with only a handful of customer reviews available for consideration at the time. I liked the novelty and idea of a .30 caliber break barrel and common sense told me not to expect PCP level performance in this price range and caliber in a break barrel. So I bought one expecting a somewhat decent performer in the short to medium range theater of break barrel air rifles. At 30 to 35 yards I can often achieve 1.5 inch groups. After that I find a rapid drop in the trajectory and the accuracy begins displaying a long distance weakness in this caliber of break barrel. The performance is pretty much what I expected and I'm not really disappointed. The trigger is smooth overall with a crisp break and I have it adjusted to approximately 2 pounds, which is fine for me on this particular rifle. The woodwork is more or less of nice quantity and the metal work is about what one would expect from a Hatsan air rifle at any price - average.

    Things I would have changed:

The bluing is hit & miss with a few obvious blemishes. The nuts, bolts, and screws are of the usual soft Hatsan quality. So be careful when servicing your Hatsan or you'll strip out the heads and threads. The provided sling mounts are useless as they're of extremely low quality metal and only 3/4 inches wide. The front sling is part of the SAS bolt holding the action to the stock (part #775) and will easily snap off sending your gun to the depths of regret if you use a sling often. My suggestion is to install your own quality sling mounts and NOT use the front SAS bolt as a sling mount. I provided pics to show how I cut the sling mount head off of the bolt and made it a screw head and then installed a quick release mount forward of the bolt. Also, you'll find that the screws locking the cheek piece in place come loose often unless you use a thread locker. I've also found that this rifle requires frequent barrel cleaning. It may be due to the gun or the .30 cal pellets, I'm not sure.

    What others should know:

I've been using JSB Diabolo Exact, 44.75 grains with no real issues. I found them a tad more accurate than the 50.15 grain pellets. With regards to packing and shipping quality I was very disappointed. The barrel was sticking out of the end of the internal Hatsan box, but thankfully no damage. There was no paperwork or manuals. The tool for the cheek piece was loose and floating around the box as was the included mountable scope stop. The rear sling mount was actually missing the 3/4 inch loop off of the stud itself - explain that one. And lastly, I had to figure out what happened to my accuracy and velocity after 125 shots. It turned out to be the piston seal had fallen apart and had a big gaping hole in it. After I replaced it and cleaned and re-greased everything else I also replaced the breech seal as well as removed any metal burrs and smoothed all sharp metal edges of the rifle. Now it's far better than new with about 500 plus shots through it. I'm on my second scope currently.

    Things I liked:

Well its powerful and I dont know why people complain about weight I thinks its very easily manageable and I feel my rifle might be underperforming because cocking it really easy like its easier than my diana 350 magnum or it might just be that smooth,

    Things I would have changed:

The wood stock feels a little plasticy, it came drenched in oil and when i picked it out of the barrel some oil came out but I hasnt been diesling I'm buying a chrony soon to check power, the stock screws feel really cheap I tried tightening them to see if I could improve accuracy a little and they stripped with a properly fitting Philips head screws driver, the .25 bore feels too tight I can't properly fit the pellets without damaging them and they dont seat all the way the 24 grain jsbs stick out a millimeter and the 33grain jsb stick out 3-4 mm when I use all the strength in my thumb to load the same issue with poly mags, gtos's and eun jin and h&n pellets I will scope soon and test accuracy maybe the tight bore will help but as it sits I'm a tad bit disappointed the trigger is very wobbly and incredibly stiff and the blueing is very splotchy I was honestly very sad to see this because I saw everyone really praise this for power and accuracy, also the safety sucks its so flimsy

    What others should know:

I'm going to wipe the blueing with a cleaner maybe its just grime and filth and oil residue thats making it look strange I bought a chrony to test power so I will be updating review according to test results and see if I can source a screw that will fit where the other one was stripped I will be cleaning barrel and 100% changing seals, also the safety is like a cheap plastic that broke the first time I took it off safe I will be building a new one since I own a cnc machine, I rather pay another 20$ for a nice safety, who knows it might be a dimond in the rough or a turd ill keep you guys updated

    Things I liked:

I received one of these monsters for Christmas this year (2107), with two tins of the Hatsan Vortex .30 caliber pellets (44.75 grains). Having put around 200 shots through the rifle, I can say it is very impressive. It seems to be well made, and is consistently accurate even when shooting with the open sights. As has been noted in other reviews, it is heavy, and it does have a solid recoil. It is powerful. It easily punches through 3/4" lumber at 100+ feet. At 75 feet, it penetrates a large coconut, but did not make it through both sides. Also at 100 feet it has no trouble going through two layers of leather which I cut from an old camera bag. Of course, it blows right through lighter material such as aluminum soda cans, plastic bottles, etc. Holding the rifle level at shoulder height and shooting across a tilled field, the pellet strikes the dirt at about 300 feet. Elevating the muzzle 10 or 15 degrees gets a bit more range, but not a whole lot.

    Things I would have changed:

    Can't think of anything.

    What others should know:

At the time of this writing, pellets are pretty expensive, somewhere around $15 for 150 count tin.

    Things I liked:

I really want to like this rifle. I bought the .30 cal and its definitely a beast. Pellets are pricey, oh well, is what it is. Stock is decent, not perfect thou. Metal work, not bad. Locks up tight. Its heavy but well balanced. I knew i was buying a hatsan so i wasnt expecting air arms quality.

    Things I would have changed:

First off, the front sight is rotated causing the rear sight to be moved way over to put it on target. I got the 10 for 10 and asked them to check and make sure it was straight. They sent it anyways. Didnt really matter because i planned on scoping it. So then.... The scope wont work properly because the barrel has " reverse droop" and i cannot lower the P.O.I. enough. Shoots too high. Trigger screws are inoperable from factory, its already adjusted as light as hatsan deems good. Not good, very very heavy pull. Im not gonna send it back because i dont think the next one would be any different. I ordered a drooper mount to put on backwards to correct scope problem and bought longer screws to fix trigger. Shroud cant be removed so i guess front sight will always be "off" . I have put about 200 shots thru it, and it does have power. It does group well at 25 yrds. I'll make it good thru a bunch of TLC that i shouldnt have to do on a brand new rifle. Live and learn i guess ? Last hatsan

    What others should know:

Buy it if you have the ability to fix it.
Dont rely on the 10 for 10 service to send you a good gun.
This is the first issue ive had, also the first hatsan ive bought ,
    Coincidence ????

    Things I liked:

Nice looking, solidly built, fine craftsmanship. Pretty easy to handle, though almost ten pounds. Nicely balanced. Although Obviously for hunting, it should do well as a target rifle, too. Great survival rifle. The fact that you have a 30 cal air rifle and it isnt a PCP makes it even better.

    Things I would have changed:

Put a piece of leather by the front spot where the sling attaches.

    What others should know:

A lot of bang for the buck.If you can shoot this rifle accurately, then you are a good shooter. Delivering a 30 cal pellet at 500 fps on target consistently requires attention to technique and follow throughj when shooting.

    Things I liked:

Fit and Finish are great on my gun. Accuracy at shooting objects is very good with the open sites. I mostly shoot cans at 30-40 yards with the open sites and most of the time I can hit the can without much of a problem.

    What others should know:

It is a beast to cock the gun. Recoils pretty good too. The gun is heavy if you have to carry it but it does come a sling if you need to carry it far. For shooting at a bench this is not a problem but at almost 10 pounds you do notice the weight.

    Things I liked:

QE barrel, walnut stock, adjustable comb, adjustable trigger, tight barrel pivot, tight lock up, thumb safety, wide rail that fits most standard firearm rings & mounts, hard hitting & accurate after break in. in my opinion the 135 is one of the best break barrels you can get for $300. i got mine for a great price on a black friday sale (20% off).

    Things I would have changed:

Hatsan quality control could be better. iv'e had a few lemons that had to be returned & probably shouldn't have left the factory. this seems to be the case w/ everything you buy these days no matter where its manufactured.

    What others should know:

i already had a 135 .22. so i decided to buy a .177 even though every one says "why buy such a powerful gun in.177. well, i guess i'm not "everyone". first off-you need to shoot heavy pellets to tame this beast. i'm having good luck w/ crosman 10.5's(950-970fps). anything less breaks the sound barrier resulting in a loud "crack" & losing accuracy. next-i had to shoot 150-200 shots to get this thing to break in or "settle" in-keep re tightening everything every 20-50 shots for a while, it will shake screws loose. this one came w/ a not so great trigger- had to do some minor mods to get it right. your gonna need a good airgun rated scope for this, it will probably destroy lower quality scopes. i've had good luck w/ "Hammers" brand AO scopes ($60-$100) on ebay depending on magnification. this does take considerable force to cock & isn't for kids, thats probably a good thing as kids don't need to be using anything this powerful w/ out supervision. needs 300+shots to truly "break in".

Once again Pyramid Air beats every ones price! This is a very high quality piece. The stock is beautiful and everything is tight. Some people complain about the weight and hard cocking but it isn't a problem for me. Very powerful and accurate. Don't waste time on the smaller calibers, just get the .30 you'll be glad you did.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    Things I liked:

I love the power and accuracy of this spring rifle. I also love the adjustable trigger and cheek rest. (most powerful spring rifle!!!) Want more power and accuracy? you would have to buy a PCP for a lot more $$$ with air tank hook ups and everything.

    Things I would have changed:

I was a little disappointed that my gun is pushing 26 FPE with the H&N Hunter Extremes since other people online are getting 30+ FPE with the same pellet, but still love the gun. I do, however, wish the gun was a bit lighter.

    What others should know:

At first, this gun kicks hard for a spring rifle and is harder to cock than most others, but its not a big deal. After the rifle is broken in the accuracy improves, gets quieter, and less recoil. My .25 caliber that I bought about 4 months ago from another dealer (Airgun Depot) shoots about 26 FPE and can shoot accurately up to 60 yards (I bought a nice scope for it after I broke it in and removed iron sights). The gun was sent with a free sling (only had one sling swivel). Currently testing different pellets.

hatsan needs to deliver as advertised

    What others should know:

i bought this gun in .30 caliber over a year ago. this gun has always had accuracy problems. this gun has always been well taken care of and handled gently. i bought a chronograph recently from pyrimid air and found the gun usally produces about 24fpe.one shot over the chronograph measured a pitiful 403fps with a 44.75grain pellet making a little over 16fpe, a far cry from the 30fpe hatsan promised if i bought their gun. i called hatsan warranty department and was forced to leave a message stating my problem and asking them to call me back and i would pay to send them this gun if they fixed it to advertised specs since the warranty was gone. they never called back. i decided to cut my losses instead of continuing to jump through hoops to try to get a good gun. do not buy this airrifle unless you already have a cronograph to check it out. hatsans dishonesty may get you too. i hope pyrimid air prints this reveiw but i will just have to wait and see because my email no longer works.

This thing can be a bear to cock. I had to site it in more than once. Heavy. Looking forward to buying a crono so I can check the velocity. Someone overtightened the gun holder for the ten shots for ten dollars and put two indentations in the stock on one side.

I Purchased the Hatsan 135 30 cal. This is like no breakbarrel I have ever seen. It is very heavy and will brews you if you don't cock it properly. I have no fear that my grand children will get ahold of it and play with it because they will never be able to cock it. I have put less than 200 rounds through the gun and it gives me a pattern of less than 2 inches at 35 yards. I fitted it with a BSA scope and it will drive nails at 35 yards. The recoil is almost nonexistent due to the weight of the gun, and is very quiet. It is truly a joy to shoot. the ammo is expensive but well worth it. I purchased it to kill goundhogs out back. I have no doubt it will do the job. It has a beautiful wood stock that is very scratch resistant. great fun!

    Things I liked:

This air rifle is powerful and fun to shoot, and in got mine in .30 caliber is very accurate with open sights alone, I've shot approximately 100rds through my rifle so far and I will say that this is a serious gun with serious power and with 50lbs of force requires to cock it it's not likely going to be an all day plinking airgun but more so a hunting rifle for small to medium game especially with if you factor in the cost of pellets, straight out of the box it is a beautiful rifle in the looks department, and much like several other air gunners my rifle has what feels like a loose trigger, but it has not affected the functionality of the gun as of this time. It came with a sling which is a nice thought, but I had it on the gun approximately 5 minutes and the clip on the top of the sling scratched my rifle so I'm going to invest in a better sling and am going to try and scope the rifle to see if I can reach out past 75 yards which I have hit a 2 liter bottle at with the open sights.

    Things I would have changed:

Sling clips need rubberized finish to help prevent scratching on the wooden stocked rifles. (not particular to this gun, but Hatsan should be notified) Trigger needs to be a little tighter. Checkering is nice but easily damaged Need a larger selection of pellets such at pointed or hollow point. Nothing listed here in the, Things I would change, would prevent me from buying this gun again because it's awesome and very accurate and a very well made gun like the rest of my Hatsan air rifles.

    What others should know:

This gun is a blast to shoot without a doubt and Pyrimid Air is awesome, the gun came well packaged and pellets well protected in foam casing and tape around the can to prevent spillage and everything arrived in pristine condition.
