    Things I liked:

    Nice looking.

    Things I would have changed:

Extremely hard to cock. Very poor accuracy.

    What others should know:

I cannot get this air rifle to shoot two pellets in the same spot.

    Things I liked:

Very nice rifle mines is .25cal QE. . Key thing to getting decent accuracy is use a decent 3rd party scope mount and buy a decent scope. Personally I bought a 5screw one piece mount with scope stop screw for $17ish and a barska 2-7x air gun scope $65ish. And buy a single tin of different pellets to try to find which pellet your gun likes. Mine likes Diablo exact heavy domed pellet and barracuda hunter so far. Once dialed in I can do dime-nickel sized group at 10-15 yards (the length from side of the house to the side of the carport in yard with a big split log as backstop). Havent taken it out further than 15 yards yet. My favorite metal yard targets are the yellow/black squirrel with reset and the 3 ring target (2 big ring and 1 small ring). The small ring and squirrel is pretty much all bare metal now :-D

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Ditch the included mounts and scope and buy a decent set of 3rd party rings/mount one piece with scope stop and use a decent scope. The ones included is functional though. Try different pellets to find what your gun likes.

    Things I liked:

Model 95 Vortex arrived promptly. After some iron sight adjustment, accurate enough at closer range. Later, installed included scope against stop and after 'zeroing in", could group 5 shots within 1" @ 70 yds. 110 shots/5 squirrels later and scope is still OK.

    Things I would have changed:

Inner gun box was sliding around in outer shipping box, thus 2 Styrofoam shipping blocks holding the gun were busted. Minor damage to inner gun box. Included scope was wrapped in plastic, but was rolling around in gun box. Suggest a lot more packing between shipping box and gun box, to prevent sliding around. Also. repackage scope for more secure shipping.

    What others should know:

After some research, purchased this Model 95 Vortex over several other air guns. Squirrels are out of control on property and needed to thin them out a bit.
So far, very accurate @ 50-70 yds with included scope. Used blue loctite on mount screws.
Mod 95 is quiet, but does have a "concussion-type kick". Recommend earplugs for continued shooting.
Use recommended (reviews) Crosman Premier .22 Hollow Point. These seem quite accurate and have absolute stopping power for squirrels.

    Things I liked:

Well balanced rifle, beautiful Turkish wood stock. Nice finish on the metal parts. I love the feel of it. Cocking is pretty heavy. Getting a good grip is important, hopefully it will lighten up as it's broken in The QE system to my ear is pretty low, I have a Crosman NP .177 cal for 4 years now and it sounds a little bit lauder than this rifle and I got this one in .22 cal. Accuracy is amazing, shooting 1 inch groups with one or two flyers at times. I am using the open sights to break in, maybe after 500 shots I may put on the Optima Scope bundle on it. The trigger is way better than my Crosman but the safety looks a little cheap on my rifle. For a 60 year old guy, I find it manageable and I know it will smooth out with time.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger guard is plastic... Come on Hatsan, and the open sights too. For a mid price gun what more could it cost to upgrade to metal. I haven't used the scope but looking for it to work okay on it. I will let you know when I do and review the scope as well. Add a sling, it's a little heavy.

    What others should know:

So far, I've had it for a month now and it feels great, love the QE moderator and the SAS on it. The recoil is very low in my experience. It's been 45 years since I last shot my Crosman pump rifle in .177 cal. and getting back in the sport is much reliable these days and affordable. Thanks to PA for such a great service shipping it to the Caribbean islands. To Matthew Z, thanks!

    Things I liked:

I like break barrel, some of the weight, and the safety.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope is very poor quality. The instructions for use and how to set up the poor quality scope are terrible. Someone needs to write the instructions with the assumption that the person who is reading them does not know anything about the gun or the scope.

    What others should know:

I mounted the scope and made the proper adjustments and shot the gun at about 10 yards. Once I adjusted the elevation and the windage the point of impact of the pellets was inconsistent. When I was making the fine adjustments(one click) the point of impact would be 1-2 inches to the left, then I would adjust the scope (one click) and the point of impact would be 1-2 inches to the right. The elevation stayed pretty consistent. I was using a dead rest throughout the process. The scope was never clear, it did not matter which magnification I used. I have tried to adjust the crosshairs so that they are clear( like with any scope) but, they do not clear up.
I welcome any recommendations to help solve these problems.
    Thx
    Z

good shooting very accurate takes a little break in time. Love the trigger

    Things I would have changed:

scope that came with it was junk would stay sighted in and was not clear. Many a little better quality scope on a gun this price. And the finish on the wood stick rubs off easy

    Things I liked:

Just got mine Hatsan mod. 95 Vortex QE .22 cal. yesterday, It's been 45 years since my first pump BB rifle which was a Crosman and awesome. Than I got a Crosman F4 NP in .177 for over 3 years now good gun to start after 45 years. But this gun is well Balanced. Good looking and feel of a well made Turkish wood stock. The cocking is about 25 to 30 lbs, still okay for a 50ish shooter. Trigger is as from the box, with a good pull, not sluggish, no need to adjust it yet. The safety is auto but it's just getting use to. Wow, it's been one month in the waiting in backorder, but in 6 days it's in my hands. Thanks to PA customer service Matthew Z. Well appreciate for his expertise, did some last minute changes and no problem, still made it in 6 days. Excellent service! Hands down to PA. The wait was worth it. Great gun for the money. Hatsan is in there as one of the best 10 air gun mfg. and this gun is good!!!! And good to handle.

    Things I would have changed:

The open sights are too cheap but functional. A better one in metal and with more capabilities. The trigger guard would be great in metal after making such good looking wood stock, I think it deserves a better one.

    What others should know:

Just today, I put in 50 to 60 shots and as frustrated as it was, I could not get it sighted in. Then I noticed that my eye view was not very clear and alined with my bifocals and decided to turn my glasses upside down were the bifocals were up and see the rear sight and front sight clearer. To my amaze, I was getting 1.25 inch 5 shot groups. Although, I looked like someone has punch me in my face and relocated my glasses. Now I can concentrate on working on my point of view and get the group down to 3/4 of an inch. Haven't used the scope yet, intend to break in the gun with open sights, then I'll get to use the scope and put in a review on it. Bundle Scopes are like playing the lottery.

    Things I liked:

It was great for awhile. I've only put 50 pellets through in 2 years...target and ground squirrels. Now the pellet won't even leave the chamber and it's very easy to cock. Obviously the gas piston of spring has failed just by sitting in the corner. Shipping and repair costs will probably make it prohibitive to repair. *** Don't buy Hatsun! ***

    Things I would have changed:

Should have bought a different brand.

    What others should know:

It won't last. Gas cylinder or spring will fail even with light use.

    Things I liked:

Sighted in at 40 yards and shooting very nice groups with the Crosman Premier .22 caliber 14.3 grain pellets. Very accurate air rifle. I like how it handles and not very loud. Beautiful classic looking rifle. Wood stock looks great.

    Things I would have changed:

I really liked everything about this air rifle but if I had to mention something here it would be the cocking effort. Not too bad but is a workout after a day of shooting. But if I had a choice of power vs cocking effort, I would have to choose the power.

    What others should know:

Replaced scope that came with the rifle with a Hawke 3-9x40 AO Mil-Dot to get improved accuracy out of the rifle.

    Things I liked:

What I liked about the gun is its accuracy using the open sights. Spot on hitting a half inch circle at 25 and 50 yards. It is hard hitting with plenty of power for hunting small game to include raccoons. Nice walnut stock and shoulders well . Trigger is adjustable but seams decent right out of the box. It will shoot 21gr. slugs at around. 615 FPS. With accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

Barrel is a bit short and makes for cocking a bit hard. Cocking gets easier the more you use the gun. Rear sight should be a bit wider opening . Ok for short distances but a bit difficult for longer range shooting. As far as sound I would rate as back yard friendly. ( in the QE version).

    What others should know:

As far as bang for your buck very nice gun.

    Things I liked:

    The rifle is fantastic.

    Things I would have changed:

make the front sight removable. I get a little orange glow at the bottom of the scope. Maybe because I upgraded the scope to a larger one but making it removable would be good

    What others should know:

Nice rifle. PA is a great company . They are always there to help. I bought 3 guns from them within a month and Greg in customer service is the best.

Its beautiful accurate and very pellet friendly not near as picky as some of my others works great with HnN hunter and hunter extremes

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe a sling?

    What others should know:

Its a bit heavy but if you want an accurate hard hitter buy it at 40 yards I get quarter size groups

    Things I liked:

Accurate out of the box. Good trigger. Good rifle for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

Same issue as other with the screws coming loose easily. Front trigger guard screw cannot be tightened without stripping the wood. I would also like it if the sight dots were a bit larger as I do not use the scope. The QE part of the gun does not dampen the sound enough for neighborhood plinking. Hoping it will get better as more rounds of pellets are fired.

    What others should know:

It is a very good shooter for the price point of the gun.

    Things I liked:

The gun is not really hard to cock.. .It is fairly silent. Accuracy is not too shabby if you use the correct Pellets. Speed is Good. but could be better. But that is what the model 135 is for. . more speed. . . The safety is really nice, easy to turn off or on. easily accessible. I have had this gun for about 3 to 4 weeks now. Purchased from Pyramid.

    Things I would have changed:

I do not know what the stock is made of. . .It isn't real wood that I am used to. It isn't really plastic either. I would rather have a real wood stock, Wood that I am use to feeling and dealing with. Maybe a compressed type wood? I don't know. . . Different scope. Rear sight. . .not worth a penny. . . It is so poorly made and put on, that you can take your fingers and move it back and forth, affecting the aim and sighting of the rifle(windage). The windage adjustment knob was so worthless, that it would not adjust the windage at all. I had to help it out before the windage indicator even moved. Summery . . Get rid of the rear sight adjustment. piece of junk. Get rid of the scope and get a better one on. Don't use Diabolo HEAVY pellets.

    What others should know:

If you purchase this gun, do NOT (repeat) do NOT purchase any Diabolo "heavy" Pellets.
The pellets do NOT fit fully inside the chamber, and the skirts of the pellet stick out just
a very small fraction of an inch. Using the Heavy pellets, I could NOT keep the pellets in
a group of less than 8 to 10 inches at 40 yards. Many times the pellets were completely
off the target. At 20 yards, I would have fliers 5 to 7 inches with no groups to even look
    or think about.

Now, with that said, the Diabolo Match Pellets produced very good results. The skirts
fit snugly and flush with the chamber. Groups were much tighter and you were expecting
to hit what you were aiming at, instead of hoping to hit a piece of typing paper at 20 yards.

    Things I liked:

I love this gun! The accuracy is perfect for the pest control in my home. I love the iron sights, they work perfectly. I havent used the scope yet just for the simple fact that the sights are just what I want and need in my yard. But I will definitely give it a shot when I want to go out hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

Its a little heavy, but I expected as much because of the beautiful wood stock. But its not a big deal other than that.

    What others should know:

Definitely buy this beautiful piece! I fell in love with it and would buy it again if given the chance.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is very well balanced; center of balance is 3inches in front of trigger. I shoot offhand, schutzen style, and this is nearly perfect. I have not checked the scope that comes with it, as I shoot open sights. The sights on this are fiber optic, which I did not think I would like.. but the sight picture is tight and easy to see.. I think actually like these sights the best of any factory iron sights I have used. With the exception of the trigger guard (molded plastic) the rifle is all steel, and very evenly blued and attractive. the Turkish walnut stock has beautiful grain, and the matte finish looks like great. The laser-cut checkering is immaculate. Right out of the box, I shot 1inch groups at 15 yards, the rifle probably is better than this, but I am still not used to the trigger, and 1inch CTC groups are good for me. Seems like its going to be a great rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

It was stiff, probably because of the tight tolerances. I expect it to loosen up with use. A metal trigger guard would be a very nice touch, as it is the only plastic on the rifle. I did not review the included scope, so please refer to other reviews for opinions of it.

    What others should know:

I own several other air rifles, all spring or nitro piston guns. This one is in 25caliber with a nitro piston, and it is the quietest rifle that I have. It seems to have very little vibration when firing, For the money, I like it so much I am tempted to buy another in 17caliber.

    Things I liked:

Overall quality is excellent. Fit and finish is excellent as well. I didn't even attempt to Mount the scope that came with the rifle. I had a spare scope available for use. There was a little more recoils than expected, but totally manageable. I can only shoot 50 feet indoors. With a steady hold and good quality pellets (H & N) it was pretty easy to shoot 5 shot groups that could be covered with a nickel. For the money the is a lot of gun. Ive oWaned and shot some very expensive air rifles, but this rifle is surprisingly accurate for the money. Time will tell how it holds up. It will be handed off to a grandson soon so it will be shot a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

Provided scope does not add any value. Image quality is not good. Im sure the internals are poor as well.

    What others should know:

This a lot of air rifle for the money. Put a decent scope on it and dont Use cheap pellets. It seems to have a good quality barrel and is capable of very good accuracy.

Love the wood stock very clean good looking rifle . very accurate . getting 1/2 " groupings @ 25yd. The iron sights work very well and accurate i was surprised because my last rifle the iron sights were junk couldn't hit anything with them but this one man right out the box boom bullseye 15 yards

    Things I would have changed:

Could use a better scope but isnt too bad it's usable. Would like the trigger to be easier too adjust

    What others should know:

I got this rifle to replace my .177 remington black Magic rifle was not accurate enough to shoot rats at 25 yards away so I got the .22 hatsun Model 95 and it is dead accurate out too 25 yards aways i have shot any farther but I'm sure I could probably get half inch -3/4 " groupings @ 50yards .am using crosman premier HP 14.3gr . best rifle you can get for $200

    Things I liked:

Nearly a perfect rifle, as far as I'm concerned. The walnut stock is quite nice. Not as picky about pellets as my other break barrels. So far it shots JSB exact kings,H&N Baracuda and polymags. Haven't mounted a scope yet, but I enjoy the open sights. Not much louder than my Ruger Impact. My first Hatsan and first .25 but won't be the last.

    Things I would have changed:

It seems like it'll be a great small game rifle, so why no sling mounts? That's really my only gripe.

    What others should know:

    Eat your spinach before shooting.
Cocking this gun takes a little more effort than a child, or smaller adult, may be able to muster.
