    Things I liked:

Built very well and has a very beautiful stock. The scope rail is great and has a stop at the end. The iron sites are good and have fiber optics.

    Things I would have changed:

Instead of a dovetail rail a weaver rail but it still works great. A better trigger that can be ajusted down to a lower weight.

    What others should know:

Buy a (UTG 11mm-to-Weaver Adapter, Vertical Scope Stop Pin) it works great and my scope hasnt traveled at all. I also got a (Hawke Sport Optics 4X32 AO Sport HD Rifle Scope, Mil-Dot Recticle, 1/4 MOA, 1" Tube) which works well with the gun. It only took me two days to zero it. I also put a sling on it using uncle charlie hardware. I was looking for a gun well worth the money and that would last and this gun was the one.

    Things I liked:

Outstanding fit and finish. High quality and it shows in the details and appearance. Lighter than my older break barrel .22. Trigger is nice right out of the box, smooth and predictable but will be even better once I adjust it.

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the awful scope in the combo! I would rather pay less for the rifle alone of a little more and get something useful. I rated the value for the money as a four because of the scope.

    What others should know:

So far I have only put about 40 pellets through it but it is pretty accurate right out of the box, I'm certain it will group even better after a 100 or so more. If you are looking for a solid performer that isn't too hard on the wallet then this is a fantastic choice!

    Things I liked:

This is a beautiful air rifle! LOVE the walnut stock and the fit of the metal to the wood and that scent of the wood. It's like many reviewers, if not all, said it was. It's about the same weight as my deer rifle which makes it great for practice for me. Accuracy? It's there! Just sighted it in today and was putting shots into the same area - if I was bench firing, I'm sure it would have been dead nuts in the same hole. Can be tiring on the arms for a younger shooter, but it's really not that bad as some commenters seem to make it out to be. VERY nice trigger, smooth right out of the box, sights were good right out of the box at least at 20 yards. Nice sight picture with the fiber sights. At 56 years of age, if I can shoot this and operate it this well, it's a pretty sweet gun all around.

    Things I would have changed:

Have to agree with others - make the trigger guard metal. One other thing I'd change is the stock - just improve it. It's a mass produced stock - could use some fine tuning i.e. the pistol grip area and the sides kind of belly out instead of being flat. I guess you could call it fat. Not overly bad though. Room for doing your own customizing if you want to.

    What others should know:

I put a red dot on this gun instead of the scope - from Pyramid Air (Center Optics model 70301) and zeroed it in at 20 yards. Shooting off hand and not a bench. The sight works great, but you have to add the adapter to it to mount it which puts it kind of high (I like my scope as close to the receiver as I can get it). You'll also have to add to the comb of the stock to get your shooting position comfortable. I'll attach photos showing my first shots with this gun and to demonstrate what the sight looks like on this rifle. If you don't add to the comb of the stock, you'll develop bad shooting habits so take the time if you use the same setup. Oh, and I think the reason my shots are not all in the bull is because I had a hard time seeing the center and had to guess a bit. All shots are off hand in a kneeling position.

    Things I liked:

Built like a tank, Solid walnut stock,Power! Goes right thru 1/2 plywood at 35 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Can't think of any, hopefully parts and aftermarket will catch up.

    What others should know:

For this kind of power it is tiring to cock, My gun is brand new with only about 40 rounds thru it so it will probably ease up with time.

    Things I liked:

This is by far the best Air Rifle I have ever shot! It is right on the money accurate, every time! Plus it has a beautiful wood stock and blue finish on the metal. Very solidly built and only two screws to take the barrel off. You may think that is a weak spot but it's not. I have shot Crossman Premier Hollow point .22, RWS Superdome .22, H&N Sport Baracuda Match .22 and RWS Meisterkugeln .22. I did not need to change the scope settings at all. Amazing! I have shot over 500 pellets so far, cleaned it twice and working great. Having a lot of fun! Oh yeah, the fiber optic sights are also accurate. I also want to give thanks to Pyramyd Air's excellent tech support and their word! They stand by everything they say and have the most knowledgeable staff around! I am so grateful to have purchased from them.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a choice of not having a scope at a lesser price and a Dual Accessory Rail like on the MOD 135.

    What others should know:

The 10 for $10.00 Test is well worth the money! As with all new airguns, you need to clean them first, Reset the screws with 240 Blue threadlocker and let sit for 24hrs. Be ready to not see your wife and kids because you'll be having too much fun with this Rile!

    Things I liked:

    - Accuracy - Walnut stock - Build quality - Power - Smooth action - Gas Piston

    Things I would have changed:

    - Sloppy lateral movement in the trigger (can be easily fixed with a tiny washer)

    What others should know:

If you are on the fence about getting this gun or an RWS 34, I would choose this gun again and again. The trigger was very wobbly on the 95 when I received it. I was very upset because I had just returned an RWS 34 to (PA) because it had extreme barrel droop and exchanged it for the 95 Vortex. I didn't want a problem to happen again so I payed for the 10 for 10 service. Instead of sending the 95 back to (PA) I decided to take a chance and see if I could fix the Quattro trigger myself, luckily it payed off. All it needed was a tiny washer to shim the lateral movement and it works perfectly now. Whew! If you so happen to get the RWS 34 that's a great gun too. It was very accurate and came with a lifetime warranty. The quality was about the same but the T06 trigger on the RWS 34 was amazing. The RWS 34 does cost a lot more then the 95 Vortex, but I think the trigger and the warranty are what you are really paying for. However, you don't get a gas piston with the 34!

    Things I liked:

Its got power and accuracy. The included scope works great. In fact I purchased a Hawke 3-9x50 for this rifle and so far haven't installed it, perhaps latter

    Things I would have changed:

It would be hard to change something that works

    What others should know:

I have chosen the .25 cal just to see what a heaver pellet would/could do. Al thought the weather hasn't been the best for outdoor shooting I have been able to put about 100 down range, about 30 yards. I have five other pellet rifles of various manufactures and the is the first that I needed both hands to cock. Now this is not to say that it wont loosen up as time goes by, but right now it takes a little extra energy. Checking on my scale when cocking I find it's about 38 lbs, but I'm no expert in this area. The rifle is a little heavy but for what it is design for I wouldn't expect anything less. Heavy means less recoil. Over all I really like this rifle and look forward to better weather.

Solid construction of all components. Tight target pattern at 25 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

    Scope upgrade on a rail

    What others should know:

I purchased the 0.22 caliber and am pleased with the recommended Diablo Jumbo Pellets. They easily pass through both sides of a steel can at 25 yards. This rifle should last at least 1-2 decades.

    Things I liked:

Great accuracy in .25. The knockdown power is great too. Goes right through metal my .177 Nitro Venom won't even dent. Beautiful stock, also. Nice open sights.

    Things I would have changed:

I would modify the safety. When you push the safety off to fire, it makes an audible click. I would also make the trigger guard metal.

    What others should know:

In illinois, the .25 caliber is the only version they can ship to you. I recommend replacing the included rings with a set of utg medium quick detach rings. The included scope is decent. It holds a zero well. Order it before the price goes up. Great gun in .25.

    Things I liked:

Stock is MUCH nicer than my Benjamin Titan. Fit and finish is great, trigger is very nice for a factory job. (Google the quattro trigger and learn how and what screws to adjust and the trigger will be set for you.) Vortex piston is great, not much recoil to think of. I thought I would hate the slower speed of the .25 but I actually prefer it now after a few hunts. Just think of being hit with a ping pong ball (.177) versus a brick (.25)..... Accuracy is ok, however im still learning the gun, (Im not a pellet gun expert). It prefers a strong hold on the pistol grip, while lightly holding the front of the stock. I have hit small birds at 25 yards, but that is not consistent. I think with more practice it will be more than enough accuracy for small game at reasonable ranges.

    Things I would have changed:

The two piece mounts that came with it didnt seem very nice. I purchased a one piece scope mount to help lock down the scope. The rifle doesnt have much of a kick, but it is possibly enough to move the scope a bit while shooting. Factory scope isnt great but I would try it first to see if its for you. Maybe add some Loc-Tite to the small allen screw which attaches the muzzle device. It wants to loosen due to recoil.

    What others should know:

Keep in mind that this air gun (In .25 caliber) is not as powerful as a PCP gun, it just doesnt have the same FPS as those. Most of the .25 ammo out there is designed for PCP guns. So, terminal ballistics on small game will differ a bit. I recently shot a squirrel at around 15 yards, the pellet entered its neck and went diagonally through the chest... and did not exit (Using Crow Magnum Hollow Points). It literally knocked it out of the tree and was dead before it hit the ground. Kinda like a .45 acp, big and slow. Do buy several different pellet weights and brands, mine prefers the crow magnums but I did try H&N 19 grain, H&N Super heavy (31 grain), and JSB Diablo 25 grain. Only the Super Heavies did not perform well, the H&N 19 grain and the JSB's did ok. All in all, this is a great pellet gun and the .25 caliber is a serious pellet for hunting. I highly recommend it if you want a .25 caliber but dont want to break the bank.

    Things I liked:

Cant beat fit and finish. Very nice looking gun . Walnut stock is beautiful , very nice trigger and adjustable pull. Just got it and fired about 50 rounds through it , lots of power coming out of the vortex piston!! Seems pretty accurate right out of the box, but will know better once I put on the hawke scope I bought with the gun!! So far very happy with my purchase .

    Things I would have changed:

Gun is a little heavy to carry all day in the field! A sling would be nice. But not so bad., can live with that..

    What others should know:

For the price it seems like a good deal so far, will have to figure out the best pellet for this gun. Have a good back stop for this gun , like I said it's has good power!!

A good looking rifle that is powerful and accurate. Really liked the placement of the safety. Hard cocking but that is what that gives the rifle such good power.

    Things I would have changed:

Drop the scope, which is totally useless. This is why I gave just 4 stars for accuracy a new scope made it a real tack driver.

    What others should know:

Buy a good scope from the start do not even take the time to mount the included scope!

    Things I liked:

The vortex is a whole new shooting experience. No spring rattle, and you don't have to use the military hold. Using a bipod at 15 yards, i have been shooting (20 rounds at a time) at a 1" dot, I have been able to put 3-5 shots thru the same hole, and consistently keep all 20 shot inside the dots black edge. Using Crosman super match (7.9g), or Crosman wadcutters (7.4g) my Hatsan 95 vortex .177 cal is the most accurate Air Rifle I could ever ask for. Using either of those pellets it becomes a tackdriver.

    Things I would have changed:

It needs to be lighter. Hatsan's bundled scope is unusable.

    What others should know:

First shoot about 50 rounds thru it, Then zero your scope, and enjoy a great shooting experience.

I Like the Vortex Gas Spring very smooth and quiet no sound of a metal spring rattling. The Quattro Trigger is super nice and the stock is absolutely beautiful.Accurate right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

A better scope and a metal trigger guard.

Beautiful stock, very powerful, nice adjustable trigger, low recoil, very accurate, smooth cycle, easy cocking... etc. Mine is .22 cal. I can get dime size hole with ten shots from about 10 yards. I did not try to go any further than 10 yards yet. I'm using Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Better scope, but the scope that comes with this rifle is not too bad.

    What others should know:

    1. You really need to clean the barrel. 2. Artillery hold is very important with this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger allen screws immovable. So tight I dare not force incase of breakage. Stock by front of receiver has a touched up flaw. Not bad enough to return it. A little disappointed overall. But I guess its just an airgun.

    What others should know:

It's heavier than most, and the scope that comes with it is nothing to write home about. Once I put a SWAT scope on mine, I could hit quarter-sized targets at 50yds consistently.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Gun is accurate out of the box and the adjustable trigger works well. The scope is not the very best but it isn't bad and the wood stock is high quality and nicely finished. I like the safety arrangement that automatically goes on safe when the gun is cocked and the gas piston is so much better than the spring piston guns. Little or no recoil and the silencer seems to work pretty good. The gun is deadly and it is helping to get my pest problem under control. All in all a pretty good buy.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is a little heavy and there is no provision for a sling. Lighten the gun and provide sling mounts would be the two things I recommend.

    What others should know:

The instruction manual is pretty sparse it just barely gives you enough information on just the basic operation of the gun. Nothing on how to clean or maintain the gun how to oil or lubricate it this is a big disappointment when you have not had a lot of experience with air guns.
