    Things I liked:

I loved the PRICE ....its a nice .25 cal "starter rifle" for people who want to shoot 25 cal pellets without the hassle of tanks or pumps. Its not hard to "break" the barrel but i am a larger man. Its got "iron" sights which is nice if your scope fails or you just want to shoot without. It seems to shoot pretty hard and fairly accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

the spring really kicks a bit sometimes making it difficult to track your shots through the scope, i have a gamo gas piston 22 and its much easier to "control", also the trigger (which is adjustable} is not the best ive ever used, its ok .......but hey for the price im still happy

    What others should know:

i wouldnt ever try to shoot an animal past 30 yards with the air tact its not accurate enough, that said its fun plinking at any range and if you can get "decent" with a gun like this youll be amazing once you graduate to a nicer .25 cal ........ bottom line WORTH the $$$$ and a nice addition (albeit basic) to any air gunners collection.
AND.......pyramyd air is awesome! GREAT prices, DEALS, and customer service. i felt i needed to add that!

    Things I liked:

Nice feel to the rifle Not too light nor heavy. Cocking isn't too bad, even for older guys like me. Sighted in pretty quickly, both open sights and scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope and mount fairly cheap, but for an inexpensive air rifle they are ok. Can't seem to get trigger adjustment right yet. very firm trigger pull out of box. Don't know if I'm adjusting it correctly.

    What others should know:

Good starter break barrel springer for the money. Can't use open sights with scope rings provided.

    Things I liked:

Fantastic budget springer, incredible value for money

    Things I would have changed:

I would give the trigger a crisper pull

    What others should know:

I don't understand some of the ultra negative reviews, this rifle is a budget springer, the scope is basic but works, it seem some people are trying to hold this rifle to the same standard as a $300+ rifle, which it isn't, but for $110 you can't beat the value you're getting for this

    Things I liked:

Very light weight. Easy break barrel for the caliber (I got the .25 cal) .... a Wonderful price point for a .25 cal air gun. The Front and Rear fiber optic sights are as good for such a low price gun. The scope is ok (see things I would change). Accurate, right out of the box! A little tuning and I am really pleased with the shot grouping, great plinker right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

More towards the rear (another inch or so) adjustment for the scope mount, or a longer scope/shorter pull length. I have to use a 2" offset scope mount to get good eye relief. Like most low cost air rifles this one has no sling mounts, be kind of neat to include a ''gun buddy'' or at least mounting holes for sling.

    What others should know:

My first .25 caliber air rifle, for just a tad over a hundred dollars. Being a ''springer'' I'm expecting performance to fall off in winter (Berkshire County Massachusetts gets pretty cold).
Difficult to get the advertised FPS, and consequently the advertised 24 FPE. I paid for the $10.00 for Ten Shots and the included chronograph tape read a VERY consistent 560 FPS. Nowhere near the advertised 750 FPS. I am hoping that after a break in period (50-100 shots?) the fps will come up closer to 600. The PA Chrono test used JSB Hades 26.54gr and I am using H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme (it was the only .25 cal pellet available) at 28.24gr. At some point in time I will be able to try other pellets. However the H&N produce nice accuracy and at least 22 FPE I can live with that for the time being. I'll update at some point. I am 70 years old and getting a little ont he shakey side haha.

    Things I liked:

WARNING: This is the most pellet-hungry rifle you can buy. I own several springers and gas piston rifles with magazines. This is the one rifle that eats 20 plus pellets a day. I have the .22 caliber version of this rifle. I'm 70 years old. Every morning I practice shooting this rifle. I'll add the .25 caliber to my collection of rifles soon. If you are looking for a fun rifle to shoot, this is the one to buy.

    Things I would have changed:

    Absolutely nothing.

    What others should know:

This is an accurate firing rifle.

Awesome gun, nearly went through 1/3 inch thick STEEL with air arms diabolo pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Pretty much nothing. Scope is ok, but I like to stick with open sights.

    What others should know:

Easy to break down, awesome fun, ammo is kind of expensive though.. compared to .177 at least. $18.99 for 350ct.

    Things I liked:

Great gun, the scope, despite the reviews, is actually decent. At least for me.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much, the only thing is that there is some recoil in the gun.

    What others should know:

Its harder to bring the barrel up than it is to cock. Awesome gun for kids or adults.

    Things I liked:

Great value, super accurate, lots of power.

    Things I would have changed:

For this price, nothing. Its a real bargain.

    What others should know:

I live next to a nature preserve so bought the .25 cal version and use H&N Hornets to shoot oppossums, armadillos and raccoons that turn over my trash cans and wreck my porch.
I also purchased a scope with a lighted recticle, since a lot of them come out at night and that makes it a bit easier to see and make the shot.

Other than sighting it in, I've fired 5 total shots with it, resulting in 4 dead pests.
2 of the 4 times, they dropped instantly, One time the oppossum wandered off a few feet and croaked, another time I had to finish it off a large raccoon with a grace shot but that was a shot placement issue more than anything (it was moving, at night, from pretty far away, got it a bit too far behind the shoulder)

Its a good gun for controlling pests.

    Things I liked:

VERY light compared to most springers.loves the cheap crosman 14.3 hp and gives right at 790 fps with them..your welcome lol nobody ever gives the the reviews you need.. Only gives 560fps with vortex 24g,but i think its do to them being overly tight in the bore.accuracy is great...about 1 inch at 40yards...i say about cause i shoot spinners...not really benched it yet.

    Things I would have changed:

Pick a size.....3/8s or 7/8s ....im good with either but commit....

    What others should know:

Absolutely the best Bang for buck going..good shooting my friends.

    Things I liked:

Shoots hard. Seems to operate great. Will go through a stainless steel baking pan and a 5/8 sheet of plywood at 40 yard.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope,Rings and rail system. Do not like the added plastic rail mounted over the receiver. THE SCOPE IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!!! absolutely will not hold zero. Wouldn't put it on a Red Ryder. They could also take some time to better align the open sight positions as they are not true with the barrel. Also had to correct the piston and bore alignment. Good thing I am a gunsmith with machinery.

    What others should know:

I bought 2 of these and without a doubt they shoot extremely hard. The 1st one straight out of the box with open sights was unbeatable , but the scope is a piece of CRAP. The 2nd however came with a few more issues but still shoots hard. When you get the rifle open the box, take the scope out and throw it in the trash, buy yourself a decent 3x9x40 , zero it in and enjoy. I also found it to be most accurate and consistent with H&N 21 gr slugs.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope rings must change! How am I supposed to put dovetail scope rings on a weaver picatinny rail mount and expect to have accuracy whoever picked the combo package needs a new job the factory scope rings are absolutely useless and I should not have to buy scope rings because people can not do their job If your unsure of the difference a dovetail scope ring has plastic covering the threads for a tighter mount to a rifle or shotgun a weaver/ picatinny rail mount is designed with a different angle on the clamp blocks also the rail has horizontal groves for the bolt or screw to sit down betweenwhich allows for better accuracy and holding a zero

    What others should know:

Scope seems nice for a lower end scope only adjustments are your aiming adjustment

    Things I liked:

Very comfortable to hold shoots great and pyramid air has everything packaged up nicely

    Things I would have changed:

Scope rings the rifle has a picatinny weaver rail mount and that said it is setup as a tactical rail the scope rings are for a non tactical dovetail mount as the screw is covered by plastic so it does not mount level and yes I am an avid outdoorsman and a veteran hatsan should change the scope rings at factory so customers do not have to spend more money in order to use a scope effectively

    What others should know:

Buy this pellet rifle and change out your scope rings

    Things I liked:

The weight is good. I have the hatsan edge in .22 its a bit lighter than the edge.

    Things I would have changed:

The edge is just built better.the airtact has a molded barrel. It makes it lighter. It is my belief this cut cost on manufacturing.

    What others should know:

The trade off for lighter weight from the edge. It is not built as well. I wanted an open sight air rifle i probably won't use the scope. The edge has the same main spring as the striker. I am not sure if the main spring is the same. The airtact does have the same power as the edge. Its a little more quiet than the edge. Look it blows away anything in its price class. As of now ive only put a 150 pellets threw it. I am happy.

    Things I liked:

Has spring piston, safety location and scope mount attached to part of the stock

    Things I would have changed:

It should have a normal solid steel barrel, instead it has a thin walled riffled steel sleeve/tube encased in plastic which flexes and bends when you cock it. Also, it has plastic front and rear sights instead of steel. VERY CHEAPLY MADE!!!

    What others should know:

Very dissatisfied with the sub-standard quality. Cheap quality product that cut corners. Not worth the money. A bent barrel is not accurate and if it is not accurate there is no point in having it and it is worthless.

Seems well made, nice and lightweight.

    Things I would have changed:

    the scope mount. metal,not plastic.

    What others should know:

I put a good quality scope on it,,put about 100 rnds through it, pellets all over the place,6-8 ins from bullseye,,hope it will get better with more use!!!
    any suggestions welcome.

    Things I liked:

The finish of the air rifle is amazing. Stock is real nice and comfortable. I like the safety mechanism and the dovetail/picatinny rails.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the barrel. After 15 shots i noticed the pellets dropping. I maxed out the elevation with no resolve. I broke the barrel open with out cocking it fully to the point where it opens and it stops before you feel the spring pressure. I looked down the barrel and I could see a droop. This would explain the pellets dropping with maxed out elevation.

    What others should know:

In my opinion NEVER buy an air rifle with an over molded barrel. They flex/bend when you break the barrel open and cock it. You will end up with a droopy barrel thats not worth dirt!!
