Things I liked:

I freaking love this version of the Flashpup! I have it in 22 and removed the shroud to add shorten it and add a moderator. Getting around 24 good shots with the 18.3 grain JSB and it is dead accurate. Total length with moderator is 32 inches and 24 inches without it and shroud. Gonna see how polymags and the hades perform next.

Things I would have changed:

The bolt. It started off pretty gritty but I noticed metal shavings inside the action and got those out of there. After that and about 100 more shots the bolt action is smooth now.

What others should know:

You will need to shim the back part of the railing to get basic scope mounts enough elevation to shoot high.

Things I liked:

First off; doing business with Pyramyd Air is a delightful experience. They are a first rate organization!

Things I would have changed:

I sent the gun back for a refund. I never shot it or put air into it. When I opened the box and saw and handled the gun I was surprised and disappointed to find a hollow molded piece of flawed plastic. Everything on the gun wreaked of cheap. Trigger and mechanisms are plastic. It honestly felt like a toy.

What others should know:

Everything.

This is it for the price you want more you pay more .

I had a leaker on hand (not the first time with Hatsan) PA accepted the return no issues.

    Things I liked:

Cheap PCP, good for plinking, ok for pest control.

    Things I would have changed:

Rifle needed to be worked on right out of the box, had several o-rings which needed to be reseated. Seems to shoot a bit low on average. Multirail seems like a good idea at first but stinks in practice. Surprisingly Heavy for a composite could do with less material to lighten it up. Hammer is very heavy and extremely loud when compared to an FX.

    What others should know:

    Requires and adaptor from DonnyFL.

    Things I liked:

I like the gun, it performs really well and hits accurately.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock does feel a bit cheap, if you want more quality, get the woodstock. Otherwise the base gun is a decent shooter and has yet to jam or disappoint

    What others should know:

The packaging looked pretty rough and my single shot tray was missing. I contacted pyramid air and they couldnt get me another one but they did send a new magazine which Is super nice of them, good customer service!

    Things I liked:

Nothing it won't hold air after the first 30 shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Fix the apparently pervasive issue with leaks that Hatsan's own service department cannot even resolve.

    What others should know:

I caution you not to put any trust in the reviews you see online about this model. I ignored a few reviews regarding air leaks, Hatsan customer service, and the same issue persisting even after Hatsan warranty repair. Well the same thing is happening to me. The gun started leaking on the second fill using Hatsan very own hand pump. Was able to RMA it relatively easily even though Hatasan will not speak to you via telephone. No communication during the RMA process until I received the shipping notification from the carrier. Upon inspection the rifle was reassembled differently from the original condition. The fill port is now on the opposite side of the rifle. They did not return the fill port cap. More wasted time and you have to fill out their online form again. Date of purchase anyone? The worst part is that it is still leaking. Not in a couple of minutes like last time but down below 100 bar in less then 24 hours. Filled out their online form again requesting a replacement. Lets see

    Things I liked:

First Hatsan, first bullpup. Ordered this to do pest control at less than 20yds. Set it up with a cheap red dot. Used crosman premier 14.3 .22. At 20yds it was shooting really good groups straight out of the box. Ran just 60 pellets to get it sighted in, can't wait to use with better pellets. Power? Yep its got it! Shot through 3/4 plywood and some passed through a second piece that was about 4" behind it. The pellets that didn't go through stopped close to going through. Shot count is right where they claim. So its exactly what I needed, light weight, short, powerful and accurate. Plus the trigger is really nice too! Great little rifle for sub $400.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at the moment.

    What others should know:

It is exactly what they claim it to be.

    Things I liked:

I was pleasantly surprised to receive the new Side Lever model even when the photo on Pyramyd Air website showed the older Bolt Action variant when I placed my purchase. The overall feel, size and weight of the HATSAN FlashPup .22 is great! Accuracy on 10 yds and 25 yds is outstanding. I zeroed the FlashPup with a Vector Optics Veyron 3-12x44mm at 10 yds and the attached photo presents the 35-shot string using JSB Hades 15.89gr pellets. The chart shows the FPS, FPE, and the starting and ending pressure readings after each 5-shot group. I also made the same shot string with the GAMO Urban .22 to compare the performance oo the two PCP's.

    Things I would have changed:

There are some rough machining works especially in the breech area. The finish on the side lever could be improved. The magazine could be designed much better --- I prefer the BSA/GAMO Urban 10-shot magazine.

    What others should know:

I used the AIr Venturi G9 pump and I would say that the HATAN FlashPup is hand pump friendly. It was not exhausting to get to the 200 bar maximum fill.

This is an awesome little bullpup. I bought mine in .25 caliber and I love it. It has plenty of power and accuracy with Air Arms 25.4 gr pellets is fantastic.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing I can think of. Maybe add a regulator.

    What others should know:

Get it. You won't be disappointed.

    Things I liked:

This is my third Hatsan pcp air rifle. Like the others very accurate, 40 yards 10 shot group you can hide with a quarter. Diavolo Field 25.4 grain work very well.

    Things I would have changed:

A better magazine make the bolt a little smoother

    What others should know:

If you're looking for an inexpensive air rifle this is the one

    Things I liked:

Honestly there isn't much I liked. The shape and size was comfortable. When it worked it APPEARED to have some power to it. But after a little more than a year the bolt seized and would t budge to cock/de-cock. After putting my FX chrono on it I was sad to find it was barely pushing 23fpe. 21g averaged 704. 15.89 hades was just breaking 800fps and 22fpe. All around let down especially since everyone raves about how hatsan under rates the energy.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazines constantly fell out when cocking anywhere besides an bench. Trigger was spongy when it first arrived, every 4 shots it would not release the seer or it got hung up resulting n a 5 second delay in the shot. Even after fixing that problem it was never a tack driver for me. 2 inch groups at 25yrds, 4-5 inch at 40. I know a lot of people love this gun, I'm just not one of them

    What others should know:

I dont blame pyramid air for any of my misfortunes, their customer service has always been top notch. maybe I just got a dud. This kinda jaded me towards hatsan, so I decided to get an Akela, I love my marauder pistol and the Akela functions just as smooth (and hits 34fpe with a 21g slug).

    Things I liked:

This is a very powerful air rifle! Once sighted sighted in, the repeatability is amazing. The weapon is heavier than I expected, about like a 22 rimfire target rifle. The specs give you the weight, but until it was in my hands that number meant very little to me. I am glad that I paid for the 10 shots, they left about 100 bar in the cylinder so the seals were seated and I had no difficulty recharging the cylinder. The pellets I use are 22 cal JSB exact jumbo heavy domed 18.13 grains this weight keeps the velocity subsonic. The result is the sound is quieter than I expected, the noise from hitting the target appears louder. The FlashPup is exactly what I wanted a short powerful air rifle!

    Things I would have changed:

I would have added a cleanliness plug on the back side of the recharge port. The port has one on the front side but not the back.

    Things I would have changed:

Rotary magazine fits loose tried closing the gap by moving the barrel back but grub screws make it Tighten back in the same place

    What others should know:

Would like to see a foster fitting instead of a fill probe but overall love the gun and its easy tune ability

Installed an eBay monocore baffle which brought the decibel level down 5 points...made for this gun...$30. !!!

    What others should know:

Make sure your bolt action works smoothly... I am on my third gun because the first two the bolt hung up and wouldnt move after a week The first two were always incredibly hard to cycle but this one works beautifully !!
