Things I liked:

This is air rifle packs a punch on small game. The bolt action breach is superb and quite unique to other air rifle manufacturers. Quattro trigger is second to none predictable, very smooth. Walnut stock is impressive. Very detailed checkering in the walnut stock. Blued steel is very nice as well.

Things I would have changed:

The safety feels sloppy but it works and that's all that is important. It's not a deal breaker though.

What others should know:

You won't be disappoint with this .22 cal air rifle

Things I liked:

Not sure. I didn't keep it.

Things I would have changed:

Hatsan's packaging was seriously lacking. The rifle broke out of the styrofoam and was loose in the box when it arrived.

What others should know:

This gun arrived at my house all beat up. Poor packaging. Stock was damaged. Bluing on barrel was rubbed off. Bluing on bolt was scratched up. It looked like I got a used or badly refurbished rifle. Emailed Hatsan to tell them about it and they basically told me to deal with Pyramydair and were no help. I returned the rifle immediately and never shot it.

    Things I liked:

Love the fit and finish. I'm pretty traditional (read that "old school") and much prefer wood to synthetic. This rifle is absolutely magnificent in appearance. I have found it to be very accurate for my purpose - probably capable of greater accuracy than I am. Currently using the open sights but I am contemplating going to some type of scope.

    Things I would have changed:

While the rifle IS heavy and requires effort to cock, I wouldn't change a thing.

    What others should know:

My wife got this for me Christmas 2021 in .22 caliber. I am 74, partially disabled and do find cocking somewhat challenging. We have an absolute infestation of California ground squirrels and I am definitely putting a dent in their population. As I do this from a stationary position verses stalking the weight of this rifle is not an issue. Definitely install a sling if you plan on "toting" this behemoth around for any length of time. For my purposes (rodent control/plinking) it is all I could ask for and more. Definitely a satisfied customer and would recommend.

    Things I liked:

5 Stars, all around. It's been 2 years in the making - 1 year on back order for the rifle, then another 10 or so months of .25 ammo on back order. First weekend putting it to the test, success! Pros: Well made and fitted; however, you can see sanding marks on the stock, but at the price point, it don't matter; all parts and bluing are consistent and well finished overall; heavy and stable, great for bench shooting; accuracy, best thing is that it stays on POI throughout the day regardless of changing temps and atmospheric data (unlike my springers). Cons: It's heavy; sling swivels and sling are great, but as with most rifles, they will scratch the wood stock where the swivel loops connect to the sling swivels; underlever (at least my rifle) drops down with heavier pellets in the 25 gr plus range; receivers screws are locked in with star lock washers, none worked loose.

    Things I would have changed:

My mess up, the forward trigger guard was working loose throughout the day. I kept tightening it thinking it was the usually receiver screw working loose due to vibration, turns out it is a wood screw only, which means I stripped it out of the wood. I'll need to drill out a new hole, dowel it, and drill a new screw hole to fix it.

    What others should know:

It's heavy, around 12 pounds with scope and mount, but perfect for bench.
My rifle shot best with the 20 grain pellets, consistent POI throughout the day and able to shoot pellets on top of each other. The two heavier 26gr pellet brands I tried both resulted in the under lever dropping down during the shot and poorer accuracy. Seems the sweet spot for pellets is around 20 grains.

    What others should know:

this is a great air rifle for plinking and small game hunting
definitely worth the money. sounds a bit quieter than a .22 gun shot but still loud enough to hear from inside the house
has a tiny bit of kickback
its a bit on the heavy side and feels like a .308 or .30-06 but it feels rugged so I dont mind the weight

    Things I liked:

This gun is as accurate as it is beautiful. I have only used high quality pellets, but I have found its not very picky and groups well with all pellets I've used. But mine likes the predator polymags the best. So far its been very sturdy and hits pretty hard. - I love the rubber butt-stock. -Ive heard/read that this was a hard gun to cock, but i find it's actually pretty easy. If a gun is too hard to cock, you might crank it in weird ways and wear it down over time. To me this feels like a breeze and isnt difficult at all.

    Things I would have changed:

-My dear she is a heavy girl ( but being and under lever and wood stock it is to be expected)! it didnt help that I put a big hawke scope on it, but i need good glass to see at 30+ yards. I had to remove the rear sights to mount my scope and i used the high scope mounts, i might not have to remove it if I used a smaller scope. - The sling mounts seem small, and the Hatsan sling is absolute crap. its way to small and offers no real cushion. And the she metal on the Sling hooks have scratched the beautiful wood stock, so I had to wrap them to prevent scratching until i get a better sling - What really bothers me is how difficult it is to load. While i love that it has a bolt action, it only leaves barely enough room for for my thumb to awkwardly manage to get a pellet in, it takes practice and i still drop more pellets than any other air gun ive ever used. Forget getting a pen loader too, they wont work.

    What others should know:

I have found that to get the best accuracy, you dont need to use the "artillery hold" like with most gas piston air rifles I've used. It shoots more like a traditional rifle in my opinion. I hold it pretty tight or on a rest bag and get great accuracy.
    - This gun makes you go through a lengthy process to fire, though I really like it for target shooting purposes. You first need to release the lever "button" and cock the lever. Then you need to press the "lever release" button to rest the lever. Then release the bolt, awkwardly manage to get a pellet in, reset the bolt, get into position, then release the "anti-bear trap". Now your ready to shoot. It seems a lot, but ive found I love the rhythm for target shooting.
-If you dispatching of vermin, well your best to have all but the last "anti bear trap" step loaded and ready to go because a follow up shot probably wont happen. The good news is, if you hit, you won't need a follow up shot.

    What others should know:

Do NOT buy from PA, Customer service is terrible. Wait on phone for hours on end, and don't answer, and recording says call you back shortly, which means days! Refund has been over 10 days and counting! !! Also getting unsolicited emails!!

    Things I liked:

Beautiful walnut stock; Tru-Glow open sights were accurate out of the box! The trigger felt pretty good without me adjusting it. Shot empty water bottles [no misses] about 50 ft distance. Last time I fired any kind of rifle was 30 years ago. Carried an M-1 and then later M-14 way back when I was in Marine Corps [0311-Infantry]

    Things I would have changed:

Larger sling swivels would be nice. I'm having a heck of a time installing a "Magpul" sling through the stock tiny sling swivels but I think I've got it worried. The included Hatsan sling does not impress me.

    What others should know:

This thing is a BEAST! Also very LOUD! [I kind'a like that] I'm glad I ordered the .25 cal, it sure wreaks havoc. I find it hard to cock the underlever, I have to use TWO hands, but then again, I'm 80 years of age, what do ya expect?! I'm not experiencing any problems with the underlever falling down as some others have stated.

Very well made and beautiful rifle, vary accurate, I shoot cans out to 80 yards consistantly. Vary happy with my purchase. Excellent value for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

A little heavy after shooting a hundred pellets, but that will make you stronger and will build up your shoulders for next time you take it out.

    What others should know:

Very accurate without a scope, I shoot with open sights with this air rifle out to 100 yards.

    Things I liked:

The bolt works well and the velocity is consistent, rain, shine, hot or cold. Cocks well, simple and the safety ergonomics are outstanding. Like the sling mounts. It shoulders and adjusts well but THAT MUCH RECOIL PAD? Not necessary. It is not a .338 Win Mag.

    Things I would have changed:

ok, things I DID CHANGE. First stop, locktite the hold bolt for the under lever, if you do not, you will have to replace it. Second MARK THE POSITION OF THE FRONT SIGHT. Pin the thing if you really want to use it. The open sights are "minute of chipmunk" at best.

    What others should know:

If you hunt with it, prepare it for dings... that is a given, Put a good sling and scope on it to put it to good use and stay within 50... It works well and alleviated the worry of wearing out the pivot pin on a break barrel (well again). It works well if you work well.

well made, FTF was very good. Accuracy was excellent. Trigger was also very good. PA, are great people to do business with very professional and they know their stuff. My next purchase will be though them.

    Things I would have changed:

The LOP was a little long, an inch shorter with the extra spacers would of been perfect, scope mounting and head position would of been easier. Maybe better QC at the factory, the cocking arm would not go back after cocking about 25% of the time, it had to be giggled to seated.(4 stars)

    What others should know:

This 155 Vortex 25cal. is a power house..... it's MANLY to say the least. It blew through 1/2" pine without any problems. This rifle is in luv with the Hatsan 19.91 pellets, one ragged hole 15yds. with 10 shots. If you're going to purchase a pellet rifle/pistol call PA first for their expert advice and buy it from them !

    Things I liked:

Absolutely gorgeous walnut stock. One of the most powerful .25 cal. magnum spring piston air rifles on the market. Awesome trigger and very good cocking system design. Great open sites gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Needs improved SAS system design to reduce recoil impact and damage to SAS hardware. Better QC and customer service.

    What others should know:

Since there is limit for this description, I will need to leave out many details and give the short version. Shortly after purchase, I was having several parts failures, due to poor design and poor QC. I was in contact with Hatsan several times to obtain warranty replacement parts, which kept failing and then to have the rifle sent to their factory service center in Arizona. Unfortunately, the service center returned my repaired rifle in worst condition, with a damaged replacement stock a damaged SAS assembly bolt. After trying multiple times to contact Hatsan to request a second repair, replacement gun or refund without success, I decided to repair the air rifle on my own. I refurbished the damaged stock and fabricated a heavy duty replacement SAS system attachment bolt, to replace the factory weak and poorly designed bolt. I also repaired all the loosening hardware. After all of my repairs were completed, I found this air rifle shoots extremely accurate, hard hitting and fun to shoot

    Things I liked:

Havent had it that long. Beautiful rifle, very nice wood. Seems to be well made for the price. Again havent had time to thoroughly test it yet. Powerfull, shoots average of 725 fps with JSB Exact King .25 ca lo iber, 25.39 grains. As opposed to my Hatsan break barrel 135 vortex which gets 680 with the same pellet. Havent shot the 155 as much as the 135 so perhaps thst will chsnge. Seems to be reasonably accurate, nothing like my Marauder but certainly capable of killing squirrel size targets to 20-30 yards. Havent tried all pellets yet or given it a decent accuracy test. I have not experienced the falling of the cocking lever as others have.

    Things I would have changed:

The open sights are adequate but not the best. But for the money you cant expect high dollar sights. The trigger is not as good as on my 135. But perhaps adjusting and time will help with that

    What others should know:

This IS a heavy rifle. Heavier than my 135. It IS hard to cock. Not a big deal for me. 6' 195 lbs, 58 years old. But dont buy it for your 10 year old grandkids. For the money this seens to be a very good rifle. I would buy it again. I am happy so far with my purchase.

    Things I liked:

The velocity and power of the 25 cal from the 155 without the expense of Pcp equipment . This was my first underlever and i dont see me going back to break barrels again. Shots well, but has not been broken in yet. 1 inch to 2 inch groups at 25 yrds.

    Things I would have changed:

    1. Trigger is not the best. Adjustments are corky and instruction to adjust did not match. 2. Length of pull for this gun is long in relation to scope mounting. Getting the correct scope eye relief to length of pull may take some extensions. 3. The under leveler safety button can be a pain until you find a rhythm. 4 fit and finish could be better. I got runs in the finish of my stock.

    What others should know:

I am plesed over all. I listed a few thing i didnt like but for the power in 25 cal and being a under lever i cant complain. I dont have to pay 1000$ to 2000$ for a air compressor and tanks to hunting or shooting.

Well when I shoot the gun the cocking lever come unlatched and falls down. Is need some input on what to do about this has anyone else had this problem? Have not tried to set scope yet. I have sent 180 pellet down range to breaking in barrel.

rock solid, aims true, good knock down power. If I get a good shot, varmint (usually squirrel) is going down. I'll try it on a groundhog, but that may be a bit tough.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing--weight is a minus but can't get the solidity and power without the weight. Given that I might look at the balance points for holding, aiming.

    What others should know:

You'll want to shoot with a support, shooting stick, you can shoot it freehand--it's like my .45 cal flintlock long rifle but you won't be swinging and wingshooting.

Solidly built and quality manufacturing two great features and this rifle. This is not an air rifle for people looking for a toy. My Torpedo 155 .25 cal call rifle meets my needs quite well.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish PA would make an effort to be sure the items they sell and the ads on their site agree as to what is actually included as shipped to the buyer.

    What others should know:

You should know that the Torpedo 155 .25 cal as shipped does not come with a Bi-pod as stated in the ads on Pyramyd Air's web site nor does it come with a shock absorber scope stop that is listed in other non PA ads on this product, a bit confusing and disappointing for me.It took several E-mails and phone calls over a 10 day period to PA's service dept. before I was told this. I'm still waiting for a promised call back that is supposed to let me know if there is a bi-pod that will work with this rifle. That call is at this writing a week over due.
