    Things I liked:

This air rifle has many attributes. First off, it is a beautiful stock, expertly milled. I could have purchased a synthetic stock, with the advantages of durability and ease of maintenance, but I like wooden stocks and this is reminiscent of a Big Five African Game rifle. One of the main reasons I bought this rifle is to practice with a lot of rounds, keeping my eye and trigger finger in practice. I've paired it with a Leapers 6-24X56 AO SWAT scope. The size and abilities of this scope seem to match he rifle very well. It just looks and feels right.

    Things I would have changed:

Ditch the bipod. It only works marginally as a rest, as it does not feel that stable. It is useless as a front shooting rest, as the double recoil throws off your aim.

    What others should know:

since the front end of this Lovely rifle is fairly heavy, a front shooting rest is advised. I also have a 60" .50 caliber Muzzle-loader and it also benefits from a shooting rest. There are a plethora of them out there and I have found a couple different styles to work best for me. As a bag assembly, I like the Caldwell "Tack Driver" it works adequately as a safe gun rest and a very good field rest for the forearm of your rifle. For a mechanical front shooting rest, I like the "Bald Eagle, cast Aluminum or cast Iron, slingshot shooting rest" This works very well for windage corrections, is precision made and can accept a variety of leather bags.

    Things I liked:

Very pleased with the early performance of this jewel of a rifle. This has the feel of a Garand or an Enfield 303, which is what I shot in Academy. Carefully made stock. The barrel must be very well made, as I started shooting 1.5 groups at 35 yards, immediately after taking about eight shots to tune my scope. I expected to shoot a hundred pellets, before I would get any consistency. I paired this rifle with a Leapers 6-24X56 AO SWAT scope. If you didn't realize it was an air rifle at first glance, it looks like a Big Five rifle!

    Things I would have changed:

The bipod is useless, in my opinion. Yes, you can use it for a gun rest, but there are much nicer gun rests out there and a large bag, like the Caldwell Tack Driver, holds the gun more securely and safely, both for maintenance and forward gun rest.

    What others should know:

Be sure to mount, or have mounted, the scope stop that comes with the rifle. The scope I have weighs 2lbs. The double recoil delivers a significant stress to a scope of this size, without the stop.

    Things I liked:

The wood is a very pretty yet functional part of the gun...good looks aside this in 25 cal is a very powerful hunter. For a couple years now my woodchuck problem has been an issue....my 22 cal just made them madder but now the problem is gone. heft and size of the old M-1 and shoots as well also..spent years lugging an M-14 and this weapon has the same feel to it.

    Things I would have changed:

Put a factory sling on it...and keep the plastic bi-pod to build toys with...give a metal one that this gun deserves.

    What others should know:

This has the cocking effort of a beast...but after a tin or two, it mellows out and it only shoots better...use a rest unless your a body builder...lol This is truly worth what ya pay for it,,I am very very happy

    Things I liked:

Wow !!! Beautiful rifle !! Stock is excellent. Blueing is very good. My 155 is a .25. I matched it with a UTG 3-9X50 Hunter scope, and shooting Diablo Match Kings. 25.39 gr. domed pellets. I have a number of air rifles, and I don't have any that shoots like this ! At 20 yards it will shoot a dime. In fact most of the pellets hit the same hole. Very powerful, accurate, and in the .25 very hard hitting. I couldn't be more pleased... the squirrels are nervous.

    Things I would have changed:

Can't think of a thing. This rifle is more than I expected as far as quality and accuracy.

    What others should know:

This is big heavy rifle. That really doesn't bother me much, as the weight is needed to offset the power. A very good "bench gun" or for stand hunting...which is what I do. I have read complaints that the 155 is hard to cock. I didn't find that to be the case at all. I am 5'10. 185...(71 yrs old). I found cocking the rifle very easy in my opinion. If you want an extremely accurate and hard hitting air rifle, the 155 Torpedo is good choice.

    Things I liked:

The stock is pretty sweet. The trigger is better than most, but not a TO 6 or a GRT. I have 150 JSB Exacts through it. So far it is quieting down and is getting easier to cock. The accuracy is also progressing. 1.5" group @ 35 yards, just resting the front of the rifle on the rail of my deck. It seems to have about the same power as my Trail XL. The Vortex Piston feels and sounds good and stout.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't mind the weight, although with the scope it is over 12lbs. So, it would be OK if it was a little lighter, however since I hunt with it, I would not be willing to exchange weight for power.

    What others should know:

When I unpacked mine I found the breach seal in the bag the rifle was in? Anyway, I put it back in the breach and it seems to be working fine. As early mentioned the rifle is substantial in weight and overall size. It would be tough for a some
smaller folks to handle off some type of rest. I am 6' and 177 lbs and have no problem at all. I gave it a 4 out if 5 stars only because of the breach seal issue and the room for improvement with the trigger, which is overall quite manageable. I would definitely recommend this one because of the power, ( Vortex Piston),appearance, and accuracy that comes with a fixed barrel air rifle.

    Things I liked:

Looks, accuracy, and quality. I purchased the .22 cal version. I have put about 600 rounds through the gun (19 different types of pellets). My tightest group was 3/16" ctc at 25 meters with H&N Excite Coppa-Spitzkugel. The EunJin 28.5 gr maintained a 7/8" group at 25 meters, and the Beeman Copper Plated Kodiaks 21.14 grain also gave a 7/8" group at 25 meters. There were many other close pellets, as this seems to be pretty friendly to most types of pellets. It did NOT like the Crossman Premier Domed - 6" group at 25 meters. The stock is beautiful!! I love it! The quality - some Hatsan reviews advised the gun should be stripped and cleaned on arrival due to it not being cleaned during manufacturing. While I recommend stripping and cleaning EVERY gun prior to operation, I found the gun was clean of debris, but SUPER oily and almost every part need a wipe down.

    Things I would have changed:

The distance from the grip to the trigger is a stretch for my natural grip, and I have had to learn to wrap my hand around the side of the gun more, just holding the back of the grip with the end of my thumb. The grooves in the Weaver mounts do not have a standard spacing, if you intend on using them, you will not be able to use a one piece Weaver mount. Not a big deal, but users should know. The weight. It is literally like shooting an M1 Garand!! The weight makes it feel nice, but it's difficult to hold it steady in a standing position (say while hunting). The trigger - the pull on the trigger has some lateral play in it. Originally I didn't think it mattered, but now it bothers me because where your finger is on the trigger effects the point of impact, regardless of how slow and smooth the trigger is pulled. This doesn't mean it's not the best air gun trigger I've ever used, because it is a VERY nice trigger, it only means it has some room for improvement.

    What others should know:

I purchased this air gun Rather the RWS I wanted (because of price). I could not be happier! I don't imagine the spring powered RWS would be more accurate, but also don't want to know if it is. The gun seams to be super sensitive to hold. If you hold it exactly the same way and pull the trigger exactly the same way it's capable of holding tighter groups than I'm capable of shooting.
This gun has a nice jolt to it, about like a similarly weighted .223 cal would have. I have a Leupold VX-1 3x9x40 scope, with the lowest mounted Leupold rings that would fit, and I have had great luck with this set up.
This gun really prefers heavy pellets, and sends them with authority. I do not have a chronograph do give fps, I'm sorry.
Anyone that wants a list of pellets I have tried, and the results, I'm happy to share.

    Things I liked:

Very nice looking, heavy, and tight. The gun is quite accurate: with Beeman Kodiak Copper coated, 21.14 grain pellets, I have had 1" groups at 25 yards, and 4" groups at 75 yards. This is a hard hitting pellet gun. I purchased in leu of an RWS, while it isn't an RWS, I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

    Things I would have changed:

I like the weight of the gun, but it's 11 pounds!!! It doesn't sound like that much until you hold it up. It's difficult to hold steady. I like the stock, but the satin finish makes it difficult to see the walnut grain - I may refinish the stock at a later date. I would also have a more dramatic increase in the height of the check piece.

    What others should know:

This gun is heavy, it is very similar in weight and feel as an M1 Garand. Cocking does not seem too difficult, but it is likely 40-50 pounds of effort to cock. There is a long reach from the grip to the trigger.
This gun is very accurate, and high quality. It is not as refined as RWS, but it is $200 less expensive.

    Things I liked:

Solid. 100yrd Accuracy. Smooth. Powerful. Handsome Stock. Nice Blu'in. Most pellet friendly Rifle ive shot or own. Trigger is sweet. Not hold sensitive. Alot of fun shooting off a rest at long distances, but i can hit anything out to 100yrds just standing in my back yard. Readily accepted Williams Peeps sites. Humanely dispatches everything ive put lead in w/ 1 shot. Should have no problems bagging Turkeys w/ it. Drops wild Guineas easily. .25 cal really delivers energy instead of just punching holes. Has already provided a couple of meals & alot of fun. Doesnt freak my Horses out.

    Things I would have changed:

The Hatsan Sling should come free for this $

    What others should know:

Made some comparisons w/ 150. The 155 is deff an upgrade down to the last detail. I can hit anything w/ this rifle out to a 100yrds repeadedly. No where as challenging as the 150 Spring. 155 w/Vortex is easy to be accurate w/. It Likes PolyMags. JSB & Baracudas the best over 50yrds, Under 50 yrds it likes everything. The Cocking mechanics make it actually easier than my M135 Vortex to cock. Im using the Williams Peep sites w/ Turn Knobs to compensate for .25 trajectory, deff different than .22 trajectory. 33g pellets seem best under 50yrds. Quattro Trigger on 155 is superior to Quattro on 150. I been shooting all my life. Hunting, Skeet & Military. This Rifle is NOT hard to shoot open handed standing up. I understand if one only has Air Rifle experience? it could seem huge. Very Pleased w/ it.

    Things I liked:

I purchased this to replace my lamented Savage .17 HMR, which living within city limits made impossible to use. Shipping from PA was great, and here are my thoughts on this fine instrument: A beautiful gun with power and accuracy to spare. The stock is a thing of beauty, the bluing is deep and even, and the trigger is excellent. With a UTG Mil-Dot scope, it put half a tin of H&N Sniper Mags in an area the size of a dime. Yes, it's heavy, but that's more an advantage than a hindrance. It has some considerable recoil, and the weight helps keep it stable. The included scope stop, Weaver/ 11mm rails, and stop pins help to protect scopes from it, but a one-piece mount comes highly recommended.

    Things I would have changed:

The cocking force is considerable, but it returns it in spades from the muzzle. The cock-and-load sequence takes some getting used to if you are accustomed to break-barrels. The open sights leave something to be desired (they're a little chunky to be pinpoint accurate), but they are certainly acceptable with a little practice. The muzzle report is not excessive, but it is a bit louder than my Gamo Silent Cat. Also, lose the bipod. It makes cocking awkward, and it isn't that useful anyway.

    What others should know:

I heard a rumor once that Hatsan tests their maximum velocities with lead pellets as opposed to alloy. Having put about 200 rounds down this, I believe it. Anything less than 10 grains in .177 tends to go supersonic, and the report of such sounds like a powder-burner of much larger caliber. Mine seems to prefer H&N Sniper Magnums, and those hit like a runaway freight train. If you're on the fence about this one, go ahead and pull the trigger; any other rifle with comparable features and performance will easily set you back $500 or more.

    Things I liked:

Power, Style, the fact that's it's an underlever so barrel stays in one place. Weight - 11lbs, I like a heavy gas spring gun because I can shoot it more accurately. Likes a variety of pellets ( I have 11 different types on hand). Great trigger for a springer which is adjustable. Accuracy - from short distances anyway. I can put 5 shots INSIDE of a dime from 40 ft, which is as far as I can shoot in my garage. Beautiful gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing I can think of. Worth the money so far.

    What others should know:

I've heard and read that the Weaver rails on Hatsans are not standard, so was advised to use dovetail. Well maybe they're not, but I bought and mounted a Hawke Vantage 4 -12 x 50 on a set of UTG Weaver 1 piece High mounts and they fit perfectly and haven't budged with over 300 shots.... Gun is HUGE and very HEAVY so be prepared.
