I like everything about this air gun. It is really enjoyable to shoot. I have not been able to target or competition shoot for twenty years at least for what ever reasons. I can set up in the house or garage or back yard and not bother anyone. It is very easy to cock. Extremely accurate. Off a simple rest anyone should be able to shoot one hole groups all day long. The trigger is worth the price of the gun alone. Plenty of room to load the little pellets in the barrel. I added some finger grooves to the grips with simple tools and sandpaper. I got some 1/10 scale metallic silhouette targets for knock down fun.

It is not a toy pistol. It will sink a wadcutter into a 2x4. As always practice safety with any gun.

Rustic old time looking yet smooth lines . Over sized grips a huge plus cause im 6'6" tall with very large hands .accuracy is grade A top notch .extra seals punch tool , cleaning rod and extra front and rear sight blades of different sizes.

The grips are over sized for the lucky new owner to sand and mold them to their hand for perfection .straight out the box after 6 sight in shots at 10 meters (11 yards ) from a rest it was producing hole in hole groups and clovers 5.5mm center to center .what more could you ask for at this price .belive the hype .its real izzy is a bad bad girl and I mean that in a good way . I don't know of anything that I would change.

Keep it clean is a must, keep a can of compressed ait in your bag to blow it off when you are done shooting. Dust around the pump is a killer.

This 10mm pistol is single hole accurate. The absolute best buy for serious competitive 10mm shoothing. The stock was easy to customize with a Dremel sander.

I did. I changed the trigger to the new upgrade. It was super simple to change and install. The result is improved accuracy. The trigger comes with everything you need to do the job. Any questions?? Pyramyd techs are only a phone call away and they are GREAT! I would make the manual a little more readable, especially when it is time to reseal the gun.

Buy an extra reseal kit, especially for the breach. They are very easy to install. DO NOT USE FIREARM LUBRICANT on this pistol. But you already knew that.

You can be very serious about this air pistol, or you can have an absolutely stupid amount of fun with it. Being a 10m target pistol, you don't need a lot of space to set up a proper target range, or jus sit back in lawn furniture with a friend in the backyard, and plink at targets of opportunity. When you compare it to other pistols with similar capabilities, its darn right cheap to own, and plenty cheap to shoot.

Have factory replacement grips for sale. That would make it easier to experiment with shaping them.

The front sight block was slightly misaligned on my pistol, but I didn't notice it until I had sighted the pistol in for the first time. It didn't affect accuracy, but was a bit esthetically displeasing. It is easily adjustible with the bottom set screw.

Really nice to hold, comes naturally to hand. Very good accuracy with any pellet i shot. Different size sights given in the package.

Could have added a good hard case.

This is a great for begining air pistol shooting. Reviews say that its capable of 600/600 in olympic 10m air pistol competetion.

I prefer a single stroke pneumatic target gun. I don't like having to mess with all of the scuba tanks and pumps of the more sophisticated target guns.

What a pleasure to shoot. Incredible accuracy once I got the grip fine tuned to my hand. This is my first air pistol and it is a keeper.

I am left handed. More availability of IZH left handed grips needed. I found a left handed kit online and have made a custom grip with it. Buy the trigger upgrade kit. Well worth the $30 to make the trigger near perfect Looking forward to my first International PTO match in June.

What can I say that has not been written before on the Izzie.......If you want to be involved in 10 M shooting and on a "teacher budget" like myself.......buy it! You may want to try H&N Match Pellets 7.56 grs. They add much to the wonderful accuracy of the Izzie. I found great shooting joy shaping the grip to fit my large hand.

I changed out the trigger with an order from PyramydAir. Nothing wrong with original, I just needed a different cant.

Quiet, very accurate easy to pump trigger is very sensitive right out of the box with no adjustment. Also nice that kit to replace seals is easily obtained, not that mine have failed yet.

Make grips available seperately for right and left handed shooters, so you can customize a set of grips and be able to have an unmolested set if you ever wanted to sell the pistol.

Aftermarket grips hard to find if available at all. If found they are pricey

What a wonderful instrument! The Russian design aesthetic and craftsmanship that ooze from this precision gun, with it’s easy, natural action pump lever producing solid two stage cocking, and the authority of locking the breach, arming for the lightest pull of the trigger, all make this a joy to own.

Mine came with the front sight block is slightly skewed to the left. Because it needs such a minute adjustment and there is a slight seat for the set-screw drilled into the barrel, loosening the set-screw and rotating it doesn’t work because the screw just finds the seat and the block drifts back to where it was. Hoping I can rotate the barrel but I haven’t figured out how to do it yet.

The beech, used for the grips, is a very tight grain wood, works well, holds detail, and is naturally oily (sawdust has a talc feel). Easy to shape to have fleshy pad of thumb opposing middle finger for a solid grip and the bottom of the palm comfortably supporting the weight of the barrel. You can use a little vegetable oil if you have nothing else to touch up the areas you work.

To change the rear sight, turn screws clockwise. What appears to be a set-screw is really a screw with an un-slotted head and a slotted bottom.

Trigger is amazing; enjoy the 'do it yourself' grip, approach to sizing for different hands.

This is a great air pistol. Very accurate, reliable, consistent. Very good adjustable trigger. If you want a competition-grade pistol, this is your entry point. Dry fire capability is very nice, even if its not exactly the same as real firing in terms of feel.

The grips flat out suck. I mean they hurt my hands just gripping the pistol. I took a dremel to them and sanded the edges and filed my own finger grooves into the wood. The good thing is that the grips are oversized so there is plenty of material to work with.

Just remember to plan on modifying the grips to fit your hand. A dremel works great for this, but so would files and sandpaper.

Very accurate. Grips fit my hand well. Trigger very nice and crisp and fully adjustable. Cocking mechanism easy to work and the action pops right open. Sites are very visible and fully adjustable, AND I can shoot at home whenever I want!

I haven't found anything yet except perhaps that there is a minute looseness in the grips that I need to tighten up which will be easily done.

This is a great air pistol. I really like the single pump action as I dont have to mess with the extra equipment and expense of a recharge system.

I have read reviews that suggest finish is not up to snuff or perhaps somehow sub-optimum. This is not true of my pistol. It is beautifully made.

This is the most accurate air pistol that I own. When I want to shoot for the red I go for this one. It is easy to cock, easy to load, and easy to sight in. Yes the trigger is very sensitive but you get used to it. The dry fire option is a good one. When I an not drinking coffee I can be very accurate. And of course when bench resting it is very very accurate. Recently I bought the BSA 42 mm Red Dot scope. It works very nicely with this pistol, maybe even adds a bit of accuracy freehand.

For the price, nothing. Great fun.

Yoe will have to do some alteration of the grip. Just go slow when you do it. I love this pistol. I will never be a competive shooter so this was well within my price range. It is nice to know that you can shoot well.

As a new air gunner. The directions were very limited as to how to operate the dry fire function and need to be improved.

The left hand gun is not properly represented! It has left hand grips, but the trigger is canted for a right handed shooter. Pyramid Air was more than happy to sell a $30 after market trigger for left handed shooters
