Don't be fooled by the fact this is a Mexican made gun! This gun for the money will hold it's own with much more expensive guns. The 22 cal for the hunter is very powerful. I shot thru a 1/2 plywood board with pleanty of power yet coming out the back a burried in 1" board behind.( shooting beman crow mags my gun like the heavy pellet. With the exception of the most demanding shooters gives great accuracy.

my only complaint was the 5 month backorder wait from pyamid. worth the wait but Wow customer service was not that great in updating order. did'nt even get a apology.

If you are buying for a younster this gun is heavy in the woodstock version and has a stout pull on the barrel. Adult supervision this is no toy!

The Mendoza I got in .177 has a very nice finish. After adjusting the windage it shot beautifully. Crisp trigger break. On rest the groups are tight, about 1/8". Offhand they are about 1/4" or less. Both of these groups at 30 yds. I have ordered a centerpoint advantage ao, illuminated scope along with leapers 1 piece scope mount so I should see a dramatic improvement in offhand shooting. Also, since I've read good reviews, I ordered a box of crosman premier domed pellets.

The split washer on the rear sight. If you tighten down the screws it spreads open. Nothing a new set of washers (2) from the rat shack couldn't fix.

I took out a raccoon at 21 yds that had killed my neighbors chihuahua. It turned out the city vet said it had rabies. This with a .177. Imagine what the .22 pellet will do so I am ordering the .22 Mendoza rm-600 next.

The Wood stock is a little lighter than the picture shows but its gorgeous looking the weight is nice and balanced..

Very powerfull even if u use a lighter grain pellet its still accurate shooting it in a basement is pretty loud at times but not too loud
overall a great gun i recommend this Air rifle to anyone great for destroying rabbits and everything else...

Using Gamo .177 Master points & Gamo .177 Hunter Pellets both great

Every thing, trigger, safety, balance, and most of all accuracy. I bought the avenger 1100 with the leapers 3-9x32 scope, ( now actually 2 of them, see my review there also) which it looks like is the same gun as the rm-600, but a little cheaper, but only offered in 177, which is what I wanted because I had a rm-2000 with the 7 shot magazine in 22, just cock and shoot, don't have to load pellets, so I wanted the longer distance of the 177. and got it too! Only 2" of drop at 200' with jbs 8.2 predators, which is the lightest pellet you can shoot with this gun. The heavier and fatter the pellet the better for this gun. My friends and I can get 3/4" groups at 60' very easy, and often hit dead center. This gun really is quite and easy to cock for how deep (3/4") it puts pellets into a hard 2x6. It is big, but so easy to hold and shoot. I have heard that guns that shoot over 1,000 fps can't shoot straight consistently, but with the right pellets this guns does for my friends and I.

give it the same rear site as the rm-2000

Don't let your friends shoot it if you want it back. Get a leapers scope (best for the money) because this can be and indoor or long distance outdoor gun

the gun shoots as fast as claimed so use heavy pellets.It is on par with my rws 34 in accuracy great for small game dove quail etc,pest control

trigger has a lot of play in it

I told my son inlaw and his bother to get the rm600,s base on what i was told about mendoza by a person who used a mendoza in 22 for rat control they did not want to spent the money for an rws like mine a model 34 177 and 350 in 22 so i ordered the guns when they came we shot them and we shot my guns and i think they got a sweet deal my next airgun will be a RM 600 they like heavy pellets like rws superdomes and supermag,s.After you use the gun wipe it with a rag lightly oiled we found they get rust on the quickly faster than my rws guns do.
