    Things I liked:

I ended up getting 3 of these, the weight and feel are great, the magazine makes it nice for fast reload. My wife tried the first one and said this is mine now, my son took the second and I have the third. Lots of family fun in the back yard.

    Things I would have changed:

I Big white lettering on the side does take away form the overall look. sites are fixed so you do have to learn wear it hits and adjust. still a great gun for the money.

    What others should know:

After 4 or 500 rounds the last shot does not lock the slide back anymore, seem to get about 50 shots per CO2 unit.

    Things I liked:

Realistic feeing, mag exchangeable with other 1911s of similar design.

    Things I would have changed:

leaking CO2, second shot everything leaks out. Refurb looks more like second hand, there are markings (handwriting with marker pen) on the magazine? see photo

    Things I liked:

Weight and feel are so close to a real .45 1911A1 that it is a delight to handle and shoot. And it is just a wee bit cheaper to feed and shoot than going to the .45 Buffet with a real one. It shoots well, aims as easily as the real deal, and teh blowback action again enhances the just-like-downtown experience.

    Things I would have changed:

THE ENORMOUS REMINGTON LOGO IS JUST A BIT OBNOXIOUS, DON'T YOU THINK?, and hitting it with lacquer thinner--my go-to solvent--takes off the gun's finish as well. Luckily for Remington, it is bold enough that I hear it can be read from outer space.

    What others should know:

Looks great ('cept for that 2367?!!! logo), feels great and shoots great. Next question?

    Things I liked:

This thing is very cool... Feels good in your hand, shoots well, love the blowback, it's fun to field strip it. Mine was a refurbished so it was very dirty, had some fun cleaning it. My wife tried it and now it seems I will be buying a second one.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish they made a 22 pellet version...

    What others should know:

This is great for plinking eats CO2 fast. MUCH fun.

    Things I liked:

Absolute replica of 1911. Feels great in the hand and has the same feel and heft as the real thing. Operates the same as the 1911 and even field strips the same way. Very accurate shooter and a lot of fun to shoot. I love the gun - but I've got one serious issue with it. The gas system seal doesn't hold up very well.

    Things I would have changed:

The gas system is poorly designed. The O ring wears out after a few cartridges and will no longer seal. Replacement mags are available but are expensive to replace at about $30 + shipping. If this gas leakage problem was addressed and a replacement o-ring was available to seal the CO2 cartridge, I'd rate this one as the top of the line. As it is, though, I can't afford to keep buying a new mag every few months.

    What others should know:

Plan to spend a lot of money on spare mags. It's a shame you can't send an old mag in for a new o-ring or buy a replacement.

    Things I liked:

I own eight different Co2 pistols and this one is tge best. Absolutely realistic looking and feel. I took it out of ths package loaded up the magazine with bbs and Co2, put the magazine back in , took off the safety, pointed at my target and emptied the magazine as fast as I could pull the trigger. Perfect in every way. Buy this gun. You will love it!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Buy extra mags. Do not leave a Co2 cartridge in the gun. The plastic grips are fine. They are thick strong plastic and look and feel great.

    Things I liked:

Very authentic. Heavy all-metal construction. Field strips like the original. Magazine is the same size. Grip safety works. A true semi-auto; not a DA repeater like with most other Co2 guns. The gas cocks the hammer. 1911 grips can be adapted to fit.

    Things I would have changed:

The billboard markings! So many replica guns have been ruined by these. They can't be removed without damaging the finish. Use the savings on slide markings to make the rear sight windage adjustable, like on the originals.

    What others should know:

Extra mags are expensive because they hold the Co2 also. Made by Umarex.

    Things I liked:

This is a great reproduction of the original Colt 1911 A1. It operates with a magazine similar to the original that contains the BBs and the CO2 cartridge so you have a fresh shooting experience with each reload. With the blow back feature, shooting is also very realistic but with minimal kick. Accuracy is excellent at short distances of 50' or less and acceptable up to 100'. Field stripping is also much like the original. I own a number of CO2 pistols and this is by far my favorite semiautomatic.

    Things I would have changed:

Grips are plastic that I've changed out for walnut at a $20 cost. It would be great if it came with wood grips. Parts are not available through Pyramyd Air and I found that the manufacturer in Taiwan doesn't respond to my attempts to contact them either through their website or by direct email. This is a major drawback so be very careful when you field strip not to loose any parts. The tree piece slide lock pin, safety pin and spring are very small and can fall out without notice during field stripping so be careful these are not lost.

    Things I liked:

I own both a Colt Series 80 and a Springfield Arms .45 ACP pistols. I have as much fun shooting this gun and though the recoil with this BB gun is substantial, it is much easier to recover from than with the real guns. Shooting BBs also saves time and money spent on reloading ammo. I'm impressed that the grip safety is real and functional. I also like that the slide can be removed just like in the real guns for easy cleaning. This gun now costs much less than I would expect for the outstanding quality. (I bought it directly from Remington when it first came out and I think I paid at least $200. For it.)

    Things I would have changed:

    I am still looking!

    What others should know:

I recommend this gun for practice for shooters who own bullet shooting .45s and want lower cost , authentic practice. Anybody who wants to start a collection of quality action pistols would do well to start with this gun.

    Things I liked:

Extreme realism. This is the best firearm trainer you can get without going to .22 rf. Slide goes all the way back, unlike some .45 replicas, and pistol jolts about in the hand, like the real thing. Slide locks back when BB's are gone and mag release is correct. The grips are dark brown, which is not apparent in all pics and match the service .45's. Magazines are nearly identical to real gun and allow authentic reloading drills. Can be field stripped and very similar to real gun. Field stripping reveals this pistols high quality and ingenious design.

    Things I would have changed:

Accuracy seemed mediocre, but I'm not a BB gun expert. Given the overall high quality of this pistol, its likely average for a BB pistol. It also field strips and the barrel comes out like a real .45. Accuracy might be the cost of authenticity. This is not intended for accuracy or power. Mine shoots high and left and I'm uncertain how to correct that. A dovetailed rear sight with a set screw, like in my Umarex Beretta, would be nice and discrete. That said, I never was issued a M1911A1 that was too far off, but did have a M9 that really needed some holdoff. Graphics on the side are a bit annoying, but I'm sure Remington wants to advertise their real .45's and I think other importers want their name on it, so stamping Remington on it is impractical.

    What others should know:

A 1/4" allen key is provided to install the CO2 ctg, unlike some replicas. This is so the CO2 ctg and BB's can be in one pkg that closely resembles a real .45 magazine. I suspect this pistol is based on an airsoft design, in which the shooter is in a combat scenario. This of course, greatly aids the realism. The magazine has its own valve, so gas is not dumped when the magazine is removed. Once again, this is a firearm trainer. If you want accuracy at the cost of realism, get the Umarex Colt. If you want a hunter, get a Beeman P1. If you want to hone your skills with your real .45, get this.

    Things I liked:

This is the most accurate replica of a 1911 you will ever find. If you want some 1911 shooting fun, then buy this gun. And while you are at it, buy the new Hornady black diamond BB's to shoot in it. Mine really likes them.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing.

    What others should know:

This gun and the Witness are the two 1911s you need for your collection. I have both and they are a ball to shoot.

    Things I liked:

This is by far my favorite BB gun; I completely disassembled the pistol (bye bye warranty!) and I found that its internals are very similar to those of the firearm. Snappy blowback and reasonably accurate for an unrifled BB pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing; I couldn't ask for more from this product!

    What others should know:

Grease or oil up the slide to get more shots per CO2.

    Things I liked:

Really nice rendition of the old 1911 military 45. Nicely finished. Like safety and grip safety that actually function

    Things I would have changed:

Could do without large white letters . Optional ambi safety. Would like to see a Colt licensed Gold Cup version ,series 70 with adjustable sights and target trigger

    What others should know:

About as good as it gets . A little more fps would be nice, but can live with it as is. This ,and the blowback version of the P08 are the best out there.

Overall size and weight. Construction appeared to be excellent but gas system leaked in both pistols.

    Things I would have changed:

The gas system leaks. Very poor co2 system.

    What others should know:

I had two and returned them both because of gas leaks. It looks good but doesnt work. Remington asks a premiun price for this pistol but the gas system is substandard. Very disappointed.

    Things I liked:

Size, weight, quality; it is amazingly like the real thing. At a glance, it is totally convincing. And the blowback action is surprisingly powerful. It will be an excellent auxiliary training aid as well as just plain fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

If the Remington logo on the side could be any bigger, I don't know how. Frankly, I'd love to scrub it off, but any solvent I tried that will remove the printed-on logo also seems to dissolve the paint.

    Things I liked:

closest thing to a 1911 .45 acp that you can get, very fun little trainer.field stripable and some 1911 parts fit with little modification...already have new grips and a compensator on order for it.

    Things I would have changed:

better metal and a better fitting clip...but then it would be a $200 pistol....order the package with an extra clip or get an extra...you'll need it.

    What others should know:

because of the way the clip fits the gun it does not seal 100% so there is some gas blowback into your face as you shoot...i returned the first one thinking it was something wrong with the gun,it isn't that's just the way they are built.Pyramid air was excellent (as they are with everything) on the return and the turn around was fast and with no hassle, i rated this gun as a co2 action pistol, what it is,and being that is is a very sweet little plinker...compared to an actual 1911 it does fall a bit short but this is NOT a 1911 it is an airgun and in that respect you are going to love this thing.
