Nice looking pistol. Looks and feel like my Ruger Mk II .22. Accuracy is not bad, about 1" at 7 yds though I only have about 50 pellets thru the gun. As I adapt to the pull and the pistol break in I expect it to get better. The trigger broke at 8lbs 13oz. I did a quicky trigger tune (You can find a couple of how to's on Youtube) and dropped it down to about 7 lbs...heavy but not bad. For the price you can't beat it. It's a plinker for fun...no air tanks, no CO2 bottles just break, load and shoot.

The trigger. Since the pistol has an automatic safety there is no need for a trigger pull this stiff. 5-6lbs would be about right for a pistol of this class...it isn't a target pistol so a 2lbs trigger isn't required.

I like this pistol for the reasons I bought it for. I wanted a low power pellet gun for 10yd and under in-house or back porch plinking. i wanted a cheap little pellet pistol to shoot the umarex resetting pellet trap. this is the perfect combo for that.

I would've put fiber optic sight on rear. I would've at least put a dovetail on it, something, anything to install aftermarket sight. IMPROVE TRIGGER!

The TRIGGER. your first 2,3, or 4 shots are gonna feel like youre pulling the trigger with the safety on. its bad. BUT IT GETS BETTER. its better to shoot from a rest. shooting from a rest with Excite wadcutters ($5tin)you can expect 1/2 groups at 5-7yds. 1in groups at 10yds. the trigger isnt good enough to get tight groups without a rest.

Since I have a Ruger Mk II bull barrel pistol this is a natural fit. It's easy to cock and load. On my first shot I was expecting the stiff trigger pull and was shocked how hard it was until I realized the safety was engaged automatically. Flipped the safety off and it was not bad. It's stiff but I have a plan for that. Fiber optic sight is easy for my old eye to put on target. Out of the box it shot surprisingly accurately (off-hand) at fence posts about 50' away. After the snow melts I'll spend more quality time on a bench to judge it's true accuracy. Right now I know it will fit my needs as a general service plinker. My rifles will handle pest control.

I would disengage the automatic safety.

I view this thing as a toy meaning I have low expectations on its accuracy. I don't plan to shoot competitively with it. It's a low powered fun gun Just what I wanted.

Over all fit/finish is excellent for this price point. Usually a pistol at this quality would cost over 100 bucks.....easy. I was very impressed with this pistol. Pretty accurate using crosman premier wadcutter or Excite wadcutter pellets.

Would have liked a little bit lighter trigger but once you get used to it, you will be hitting bulls.

If you are thinking about buying this pistol just do it. It is not expensive at all and it really is fun to shoot. No Co2 to worry about here. Just load and shoot till you can't no more. Umarex hit a home run with this pistol. Get one before you can't any more.!!!!

This is an easy cocking plinking pistol. The price is great and it's Fantastic at what it's designed for. I'm having a blast shooting this little gem. Just grab some pellets and tin cans to have an enjoyable time.

The trigger was a bit too stiff for me out of the box,it doesn't need to be as heavy as it comes from the manufacturer. ( I changed this Easily) The weight of the actual pistol could be a touch heavier,but that's easy to remedy...not a necessity. That's It.

I went online and found instructions for lightening the trigger pull and performed the procedure. Much Better! This certainly isn't an Olympic grade target pistol, it IS a Fun,easy to operate plinker with acceptable accuracy! If I wear this one out,I Will buy another as well as recommend others buy one. I have HW's,Beeman RX2,R9,Air Arms,ect. so I recognize quality. This little pistol has it's place alongside the rest of my airguns. So there you have it.

Ordered this in December. Did not get a chance to really shoot it until now. Held off on my review for that reason. The gun is light and fits my hand well. The cocking force is easy. I can shoot for a long time without my arm getting tired. The gun is made in Tawan and very well built. The quality of the build is superb for a $50.00 gun. At thirty feet accuracy suffers some but will still take down cans. At twenty feet you get some good groups. Not great but good. If you want a fun pistol at a low price for a little plinking fun. This pistol fits the bill.

Just the fiber optic front sight is all I would change. Even in the brightest light the red rod stays dark. I put a dab of white out on it and can line it up easy now.

If you're looking for a pistol to deliver tight groups at ten meters, or a pistol with hard hitting power then this pistol is not for you. But if you are looking for a cheap $50.00 can busting, paper punching shoots all day fun gun you should order this pistol today.

Couldn't wait to get this sent to me. I am very pleased with overall construction of pistol. Fit and finish are amazing for this price point. Seems like a pistol this quality would easily cost much more. Umarex nailed it with this one. Sights are great! Fiber front adj. Rear! Trigger is good! Harder but breaks in while you shoot more. Over all great buy! If you are thinking about buying one....do it! You won't be dissapointed.

Maybe like a green fiber optic front sight. Red seems not as bright.

This pistol is amazing. I have gas pistols that shoot way harder but this one is super nice and SO much fun. Over all excellent choice for the money! About identical to the 22 Mark IV. Thanks again Pyramyd Air for coming through and getting this product. As many times as I have ordered from you, you never let me down.

Trigger pull is hard which hurts accuracy.

Watch your fingers when cocking.

Easy to cock for a 9 year old. Good sights. Points nice. Like the safety.

Trigger SUCKS! Its got the 9 year old flinching all over the place, & I can't even get it to shoot to point of aim, with out flinching by pulling the trigger. It is more like a yank to set the trigger off.

Going to www to see if the trigger can be fixed, by myself.

A nice replica of this Ruger model pistol. The quality was very good. Accuracy was very good.

I would pay more for one in metal instead of plastic.

I like everything about this gun - Its size, weight, looks and feel. It is quiet, easy to cock and no co2 needed. It is accurate for a pistol and a nice gun to teach others how to shoot.

The trigger is a little stiff but I wouldn't change anything.

You will be glad you bought this gun.

Dirt cheap. Well made. Easy cocking and loading. Rifled barrel. Looks like a Ruger.

Not a fan of the automatic thumb safety.

Understand that this is a a $50 break barrel pistol And in my opinion it is worth every cent use with care and it will provide in my opinion many years of enjoyment

I would change the trigger pull it's very hard and that effects the accuracy of the gun.

I bought this and the Beeman P17. The P17 is a better value. If I had it to do over I would have bought 2 P17s.

The look balance not very heavy as it could be.

Grip needs to be thicker, trigger is a little not smooth almost clunky as you pull through causing you to jerk the trigger.

Awesome looking. Very close copy of real Ruger Mk IV (Kudos Umarex for the style and detail). Solidly built. Easy to cock. Automatically applies the safety when cocking .Overall feel etc is spot on. Price is excellent. Very slick cocking mechanism (Cocking level pushes straight back) with great leverage means it's easy to cock.

Oh my... trigger pull is atrocious!!!!! I will have to take it apart and clean it up but very disappointed with Umarex for putting something out with such a poor trigger. Others have said they need to lighten it up, mine is not even remotely smooth and snatches, let alone it's not even close to a reasonable pull. I may have a "lemon" trigger.... I cannot imagine a young shooter being able to shoot this well due to the trigger pull required. Velocity is borderline acceptable. Pellets can't even penetrate wood.... instead they bounce off. I have Chrono'd it yet but I seriously doubt I'm getting anything remote higher than 300fps.

For a fun plinker, it's excellent but if you've ever shot real Ruger Mk II's, III's or IV's which are all super accurate and fun, this isn't remotely in the same league. None the less, I am enjoying plinking with it. A good buy.

nice feel took about 1200 rds to get trigger to feel good.at 10 yds getting clover leaf hole .

nothing this gun just needs to be played with.
