Very disappointed! Sig Sauer would have such great work in the details of the gun, but the mechanical operation be so poor. I purchased another airsoft gun to compare, and I have had no issues with firing that one.

It’s a bit heavy for a BB gun and very ridiculously difficult to load. Is there anyway to rapid load this gun?

definitely mirrors its real 1911 counterpart with size and weight. Fit and finish are not bad for being made in Taiwan and not the good ole USA! Durability is yet to be determined, have only put 500 rounds through it and it hasn't taken any real drop abuse yet..

Fun to shoot, has the weight of a 1911, looks very real.

Exactly as advertised. Operates flawlessly with a good kickback and locks open when magazine is empty. Very hard to tell from an actual powder burner in looks and function. I traded grips with my Swiss Arms TRS and I think it improved the looks of both guns. Also, Magazines are interchangeable between both guns. Groups at 7 yards average about 1.5''. Not quite as good as my TRS but it has been shot a lot more and is broken in. Not sure you can do much better in a 1911 replica.

Magazine (like the S.A. TRS ) has a hold open feature and is easy to load.

Attention to detail is awesome. This looks and handles like the real thing. The blowback action is exceptional and took a little bit of time getting used to. This is going to be a display piece eventually. That is if I can not stop plinking!

Just purchased 2 more for future use. I now have 4. Try to average 250 trigger pulls a day. My first we the people 1911 has over 12k bbs shot through it. This is the cheapest way to teach an practice hitting the target. Shoot plastic golf balls to 35 yards skillets beyond. Windage an evaluation in cross wind. BB drop at different distance. It's just fun.

Nice BB gun, works like the real thing! Shoots to the left out of the box but I can make sight adjustments. Fun gun to practice with and feels like my real 1911s.

This is so close to the real versiosslyn its uncanny. The fit and finish are perfect, shoots flawlessly and I like that it feels like the 45 when you shoot it.

The quality is amazing! Everything from the looks to the feel.

I really like the pistol and have had a lot of fun teaching my family how to aim and shoot. On the lighter side, I think the Allen Wrench ought to be made to resemble a spring loaded pocket knife that would clip to a pocket. It would be a stunning accessory to a fabulous looking air pistol.

Dont know yet it is a Christmas gift for my grand son. Looks cool though.

Excellent for training & fun! Well made & has the feel of the full size 1911 We the People. Surprisingly accurate!!

The weight is accurate and slide motion is a good practice weight. I wish they would have included a sticker or hat when you purchase like they do with the real ones.

This pistol feels great- its heft, finish, and operation are a joy. Being able to field-strip it is a major plus, and while that's a bit tricky, it ain't no thing and is quickly mastered. The instructions provided don't, however, tell you jack about how to do it, really- watch a few YouTube videos - you just need to align that small notch with the lever. Easy peasy. Blowback action is fantastic, and it's right on average with shot count for such models. I compare it readily with the Glock 17 v4, which is just as sweet and true to original. Both are functioning blowbacks with the highly desirable keep open after last shot feature and both are favorites in my collection. Accuracy is good for a BB pistol, likely due to the nice long barrel and the very smooth blowback. The working grip safety is another great feature.

Not really a change, but, please SIG, make more magazines for this baby! They're Out of Stock at SIG's site, too. That said, adjustable sights would be nice - you can do it on the X-Five, well? The warning message is too obvious, but with this already weathered surface treatment, I didn't feel at all concerned about scratching it all away - just use the corner of the magazine. Small concern here - there are semi-sharp edges on things on this pistol, including the magazine.

For some reason I've become a rabid fan of the SIG Sauer airguns, and I think I might have all of 'em, including their most excellent ASP 20, although I'm undecided about the MCX, 'cause I have two Crosman DPMSs, but, could be any day now. I have not yet moved up (on, over?) to PCP - I would need to get an electric pump 'cause I just know a hand pump would be too taxing at my age. I did get this more to complete my collection, but I've loved shooting it so much it's taken over the P365's place in the weekend, hmmm, what do I shoot today choice. The trigger on this does a little flop in or cantering at the end of the pull, but it's not ugly. Those stars on the grip kinda look like they'd be bothersome, but they ain't.

Let’s pistol shoots as well as I expected it to great fun helps me practice because the weight and the feel is the same as my real 45 ACP, but I can shoot this one in the backyard.

Always dreaming owning a 1911 handgun. This is just a BB gun but it looks identical to the real deal. It is also incredibly accurate. Below photo was the results of shooting from four yard away.
