Things I liked:

Combination of features...Regulated PCP, M4 based with lots of bolt on accessories available from many vendors, semi-auto, 30 mags. Overall, no other product in this space. Best for what I need even though, lots of other products are better in individual areas. This rifle hits the sweet spot for me overall with the set of features all combined.

Things I would have changed:

I understand the cost controls keeping this to $300, but I would pay for more options like better iron sights (first thing I did was toss the equipped sight and put on aftermarket ones. Trigger is not great, but I give a little room here since it is semi-auto - probably lots going on under the hood there..would ESPECIALLY like to see a 1900 psi regulator option!!! SIG, hope you are listening :)

What others should know:

Accuracy is acceptable for me to 30+ yards for what I need. Its semi-auto and the trigger is gravel...but, it is semi-auto so not sure if there are some tuners out there who can tweak that.

    Things I liked:

It's a sub $300 PCP. The semi-automatic function with 30 rounds is a nice touch.

    Things I would have changed:

Accuracy... This thing isn't accurate enough to need a scope. Grouping at 25 yards is a field of about 6".

    What others should know:

Loading is a bit more difficult than most other magazines as the belt is flimsy and a bit harder to hold. The trigger isn't consistent due to the belt not always stopping in the proper location so sometimes it needs a much stiffer trigger pull to rotate the belt. It feels like a CO2 pellet gun. There isn't anything fancy about this one. It is a bit loud. Not excessively loud, but a small built-in suppressor would be nice to have.

    Things I liked:

I bought this gun to be fun, and that's what it delivers.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. The gun is exactly as described. I got what I ordered. It lives up to its description.

    What others should know:

My particular rifle gets 655 fps with Crosman Premier 14.3 grain pellets, which comes to over 13 foot pounds. Your results may differ. The gun is reasonably accurate. The weight of the trigger is as expected, and, to me, not a problem. The rear sight should have been in flat paint instead of the gloss they used. The small aperture gets quite the glint and ruins my sight picture. The larger aperture works out just fine. I had to set the front sight post to its lowest position to get the gun on target at 25 yards. Good enough, really... you can always put a different sight on. The belt magazine works great. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's actually very easy to work with. While this may not be a minute of angle bench rest gun, it works great as a minute of tin can rifle from a standing position.

    Things I liked:

More accurate than I expected. It's not an FX impact, and everyone says this is just for plinking, and that's my main use. But I have a small 8 inch metal plate at 50 yards, and I can hit it almost every time from a standing position (red dot mounted). Zero'd for 10 yards but it hits at 50 as if zero'd there. I would expect more drop, friggin amazing. Shoots very well with cheap Crossman pellet ammo. AR feature duplication is very good, so I use it as a training gun for my "real" AR, but with practically zero ammo costs. It's good to stay nimble with all the AR functions and we are all reluctant to shoot a lot given the price of "real" AR ammo. So this is the way to go. Only thing it does not have is a chamber slot to view loading status, or a working bolt-hold-open feature. But neither of those make sense to have on a pellet gun. Every other AR feature actually works (charging handle, mag release, safety, etc), and they are positioned like a real AR. Again, excellent training aid

    Things I would have changed:

A bit heavy, but not too bad.

    What others should know:

I expected to hate the trigger pull, but it's not bad. And I expected to encounter multiple jams, but so far after 200 rounds I had one jam (the pellet position slipped a bit inside the magazine). Just pulled the mag, knocked out the pellet and reinserted the mag and kept shooting. You really can pull the trigger very fast and shoot lots of shots fast, so it's amazing how fast you'll use up pellets. I bought two extra mags for that reason. I might get more mags.

    Things I liked:

Build quality is excellent. A top shelf "fun gun". Cans don't stand a chance with this rifle around.

    Things I would have changed:

Because the trigger cycles a 30 round belt, the pull is necessarily stout. Because the pellets get forced into the bore from the belt, don't expect match accuracy. The bore is nicely rifled and by removing the magazine and loading pellets 1 shot at a time, accuracy can be improved significantly-but this is not an easy process, and makes the gun much less fun to shoot overall.

    What others should know:

Use care to not over tighten the bolt in the shoulder piece the attaches to the rear of the air bottle-this is the weak spot of the rifle-over tightening will crack the stock. Truly a fun rifle-stock up on pellets.

I like the 30 round clip.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is a little stiff. Make sure your pellet is aligned correctly or it won't fire.

    What others should know:

Don't tighten the rifle stock too tight or it will break. It's cheap.

    Things I liked:

There's one thing I like. That is the look and feel of the weapon. Looks nice. But looks are deceiving. Right from the start, problems. Receiver for air bottle was loose inside body of rifle, could move it back-and-forth with my finger almost half of an inch back and forth inside of rifle housing. Screwed in the air bottle, it wobbled back-and-forth and you could turn it side to side when fully seated and screwed in. Once bottle was aired, rifle would not hold air, it bled air at a tremendous rate, never put one round through the weapon. So Disappointing.

    Things I would have changed:

Everything. One massive waste of my time and money. I thought Sig Sauer could do much better than that. Main reason I bought it was because it was a Sig And I knew the quality would be top notch. Boy was I wrong. Never got to put one round through weapon. Returned it for a full refund along with hand pump. What a waste.

    What others should know:

If you do decide to get one of these, definitely get a warranty, definitely pay for the 10 for $10. That way at least someone can check for Quality & fit and finish before it's sent to you. I wish I would've done that. I really looked forward to owning this and having some fun with it, now I don't think I'll ever deal with these people again, how can you trust them after this ? I'm not the only one, there's many reviews online and YouTube about this exact same problem wobbly air bottle and leaking air internally. Would've had better satisfaction taking $500 cash burying it in a can in my backyard and then going out later that month and digging it back up. Roflmao.

    Things I liked:

Looks cool, feels right, Easy to fill with air from a tank. OK for plinking, as long as the targets are not too small.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine hangs up internally sometimes. You have to remove the mag and move the position of the belt, re-insert the mag and continue. Accuracy is poor. It prints the same wild patterns no matter what pellet I use. Every 2 to 5 shots is a flier, inches off center. The fliers go in all directions, patterns like a shotgun even at 15 yards. Cleaning the barrel did not help. The magazine belt has teeth that hold the pellets in place. These teeth make deep marks on the pellet when loading. It is possible that this is at least part of the problem. I am determined to work out the issues, as this product is quite unique in the airgun world.

    What others should know:

DonnyFL makes a moderator adapter for this. When used with their FX 5" moderator the gun is silent. All you hear are the action and the pellet hitting the target. The accuracy issues are not affected by using the moderator. The aftermarket 1st Strike floating buttstock fits, but the air reservoir on this gun must be fatter than the ones used by paintball guns, as that stock fits so tight that it can not be removed. Regardless, the stock improves the appearance of this rifle.

    Things I liked:

I would not call this a Toy, It is very powerful and will shoot through a car hood, that I found that out with surprise, I used a old car hood as a back stop and hung my targets on the hood, thinking that I protected the siding of my garage, After a afternoon of shooting at my targets with grate accuracy in the same place, I decided to look at my back stoop and found that I have gone through the car hood and messed up my siding of the garage, Well my wife does not know yet and placed 1/4" ply wood behind the hood to protect the rest of the siding and hide my mess up. Ups Also it is better not to use up all the air in the tank before filling it up again if using a hand pump, I get 90 shots then I fill it up again so I do not wear my self out.

    Things I would have changed:

    A bigger PCP tank.

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

Fun Rifle, Fairly accurate but it's a plinker not a target rifle. Reliable. Holds air well and gets about 4 magazines worth of shots at a respectable velocity before you need to recharge the tank. It's not that hard at all to charge using a hand pump. The first time took about 250 pumps from zero to 3,000 PSI but after that it only takes about 125 took bring it back up to full pressure. I have about 1,000 rounds through it now and have no complaints and it has plenty of power for dispatching pigeons in my hay barn.

    Things I would have changed:

The manual sucks, it has very little useful information in it, do some research online and you will be able to bypass a lot of the problems that other owners have encountered.

    What others should know:

This is my first venture into PCP airguns and I think I made a good choice with the SIG Virtus. Tom said in his review that the Virtus he tested was regulated at 1,100 PSI the regulator on mine says 1,200 PSI and I am getting velocities in the mid 600FPS range with 14.3 grain Crosman Premiers. Make sure you use the pellet seating tool in the pistol grip to seat the pellets and you wont have any feeding/jamming issues.

Function to finish this airgun out of the box has been great. Easy to operate, I get over 120 shots on a tank, which I think is amazing.. If I shoot slow I get pretty good accuracy. Much better than other reviewers stated. Magazine is easy to load, functions well.

    Things I would have changed:

    177 version would be good..

    What others should know:

I would purchase another Sig Sauer airgun again. Good quality for the price point. Heavy trigger. I new it before I bought it. I don't care. It is a good safe trigger. Remember the trigger advances the magazine for the next pellet to come up to position to be fired..

    5.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

This is the first time I've ever purchased an air gun that had better FPE than what was advertised. For every previous air gun I've purchased, the FPE is less than what's advertised. The Sig Sauer Virtus PCP .22 caliber air rifle is supposed to deliver between 11 and 12 FPE. Using the FX wireless chrono I'm getting 572-575 FPS for 18.12 grain JSB Diabolo Jumbo Heavy (13.17 - 13.31 ft. lbs.) and 615-625 FPS for 15.83 grain JSB Diabolo Jumbo (13.3 - 13.73 ft. lbs.). It is possible that the pellets I've fired could weigh less than the stated grains, and that my FX wireless chrono is off...however, I've used the same chrono with my Sig Sauer P320 air pistol, Sig Sauer MXP air rifle, and Air Ordnance SMG 22 using JSB ammo and I've always measured the FPS (and consequently the FPE) to be less than what was advertised. I am doubtful that my chrono is now suddenly being "generous". I was able to penetrate 1" of solid (hard) pine this rifle, albeit that was in the garage at 12-14 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like Sig to offer some higher capacity clips for their rapid pellet system guns. It would be awesome if they offered 30 caliber models. Full auto would be really nice too...see if they can compete with the Hatsan Blitz.

    What others should know:

I had actually returned this gun back to Sig thinking there was a problem. When I followed the instructions in the manual to attach the (empty) air tank to the gun and use my Hill MK4 pump to fill it up I heard hissing in the gun with every pump. I then proceeded to disconnect the air tank and pump it to 500 psi separately and then reattached it. As soon as I reattached the tank I heard hissing in the gun again. I sent the gun back thinking it had a leak. The tech had filled the tank to 1500 psi separately and had no issues. It then occurred to me that there must be a valve in the gun that allows low pressure air (below a certain threshold - perhaps at the 1100 psi level) to pass through. They should change the manual to indicate that an empty tank should be pumped up to at least a certain threshold before attaching it.

    Things I liked:

I like the RPM clips belt driven 30 rounds is fun to shoot. Looks really cool.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle sights are almost useless. It does get 4/5 mags of 30 out of this gun with out refilling. I would gladly take less shot count for more FPS and FPE! It does not shoot predator Polly mags they are to long to fit in the mag belt the shirts get crushed during cycles they do not load into the chamber.

    What others should know:

This gun it really slow its not at 700FPS more like 500-600. If you want to shoot past 30 yards look at a different model!
