Fun to shoot and with a large capacity mag to keep you shooting longer between reloads. The clips that go into the mags are quick and easy to use.

Looks, feel, weight, blow back, quiet, great value, magazine design.

Shorten trigger pull length, add slide remains open on last shot. Option for adjustable sight.

Shoots low which can be corrected by shortening front sight slightly.

First air pistol. Great experience. P320 will be next. I like being able to remove mag. Without losing air. The M17 design is great other than that. Well...sights could be adjustable. Believe me...I researched long before buying. Highly satisfied.

I bought it one month ago. I made 1000 shots. It is very accurate, very beautiful, very technological. Need to be able to handle it. It is ideal for training. Many thanks to Sig Sauer for the high quality and beauty of the gun.

Realistic weight, feel, grip and for the most part action. Feels like and appears to be good quality overall. Belt magazine works well, no jams after 500 rounds. CO2 install and removal is the best I've seen with the over cam lever. Magazine "pops" out similar to a real gun. Picatinny rail. Removable barrel. Ambi Dextrous Safety. Big bright white dot sights (see below though)

IN ORDER OF NEEDS TO BE FIXED: Sights need to be made adjustable !! Trigger is heavy. Gun needs a bit more power, shoots a bit slow/weak (more like 280 - 330 fps vs 400+). Slide does not lock back after last shot in mag.

Great gun. Super fun to shoot, good accuracy at short range (5 to 10 yards). I get about 1.5" groups at 10 yards when using a laser and a sandbag with wadcutters. Buy lots of CO2 and wadcutter pellets because you'll go through them very fast. I used to single shot break barrel guns and 10 shot PCP's with side levers. This thing is so fun to shoot you just plow through the pellets. Enjoy.

Bought this M17 pellet pistol a few days ago and have had a blast (lol) thus far. Fit, finish and function have been outstanding. As an owner of the big brother M17, this is a welcome addition. Wish it had come with a couple of extra mags, but that is no big deal. Thanks for the sig quality and performance!

Accuracy, easy to load

Purchased this a few months ago. I put a little over 1000 pellets through it . The gun is accurate until the CO2 gets low. It's still accurate but not on the poi as with a full charged CO2 cartridge. Trigger pull is great, slide functions well and the unique magazine arrangement, with the CO2 Cartridge and Pellet magazine together could not be better. The guy that figured this magazine out is a genius.

I don't get to the pistol range much these days as my wife is ill. So to get trigger time, at least, I bought this model air gun. Everything on this M17 pellet pistol is wonder full. All 20 pellets in the same hole at 10 yards.

Given that, I did have had a problem with the plastic magazines operating smoothly at first. I read these write ups from other customers. A couple recommended a kind of spray oil and another recommended a spray silicone spray. I purchased both to see which worked the best. I first used the silicone spray. Then I tried the Oil based spray. Both of these products clogged and jammed the magazines, making them unusable. I cleaned them up with hot water and Dawn dish detergent at the kitchen sink. (DON"T TELL MY WIFE!). After they dried I went to Home Depot and purchased a small bottle of 3-IN-ONE ALL-TEMP SILICONE LUBRICANT. I used this sparingly on the magazines, manually moved the pellet sleeve around in the magazine a few times and left them to dry over night. The next day I loaded the mags up and blazed away from the "Firing Line". All pellets fired with out hang ups or hiccups. This is 3 months later at this writing and still no trouble. A few drops of silicone will do as long as you manually move the pellet holders in the magazine's to spread it around. Good luck and good shooting.

Be sure to pull the trigger all the way through and release to get the proper feed belt rotation and trigger reset.

Had to wait due to being out of stock. Well worth the wait to get the pistol and spare mag. Shoots great and easy to load with the pellets.

The looks, the weight, the realistic recoil, ease of loading. The first trial in 70 plus degree temp. I was able to get 80 shots from the first gas cartrige. I purchase extra belt clips which made it a breeze to reload, I also ordered and received a couple days later an extra magazine. Can't wait for some warmer days to try it again.

I can not think of a thing except maybe a Slide lock after the final shot.

Buy the extra mag and a couple of extra belt clips.

I bought this twice for my son and me and we love it

Being retired military and being armed with many of the Army weapons, I am pleased with the newly adopted Sig M17 & M18. I bought the Air Model Pellet M17 after adoption of the new Sig sidearms because it mocked the 9mm close enough to be used for training. It was a good way in the time that firearms are restricted closely to practice the handling of the 9mm model and is, very economical. It is a great training weapon and I have advised my fellow Troops to get one. I see that the original Air M17 has been elevated in status to an M17 Proforce Training weapon however, I just cannot favor the orange cap on the end of the barrel. I fully understand why but ?????

Shoots low, loses power quickly. was getting a bunch of cartridges blowing out when inserting, come to find out that you can not leave cartridges in pistol when not in use, that makes sense to me now but as a beginner I wish that was stated more obviously/clearly when first using, I now have 2 useless magazines and have purchased two more, which are on backorder and taking awhile to get here! also does not shoot all 20 pellets, leaves 3-4 consistently un shot in cartridge. the gun is an excellent trainer and now I would like to buy the actual 9mm version.

I purchased this gun about 2 months ago , but used it on a pretty rare basis because of the schedule i have. The weapon is powerful and innovative with the clip etc. Although i have had a few issues of the weapon. As stated in some of the forums above the clip does jam quite often randomly with ALL pellets (even Sig Ones) Also, although it is a drop down clip, sometimes it gets stuck and you have to re-insert it back in the weapon and perform this over and over until it actually releases. The last problem i do have is my clip is completely inoperable, with the Co2 port malfunctioning. Every single time i put a new Co2 cartridge in the port, it sprays the entire gas out of the piece. Thank god they sell single new clips at the store i purchased this at. I am still covered under the companies warranty so hopefully they can get back to me and do the right thing. Especially because i have six (yes 6) of their weapons. (P320-M17, (2) P226, SIGARMS GSR 1911 Replica, a P365 and the MCX Rifle.

Great for a cheap alternative to the range. Nice weight. Reccomend buying extra mags

Bought 2 month ago and after 1 month of ownership all of a sudden mag air seal went and still waiting for replacement

I own 9 air pistols, and this is my favorite, hands down the best. Very accurate and functional. Highly recommend for serious shooters.

7.4 grain wadcutters are the best load for this gun.

I bought the M17 Air Pistol at Cabala a week ago and the magazine does not always feed the pellets correctly and sometimes will not fire a pellet. Now it is jammed and I can’t eject the cartridge and trigger is locked!!!
