Nice gun, looks good, feels good, nice weight balance, but not good for left handed shooters! When holding the gun in my left hand my fore-finger brushes the magazine release and out pops the magazine. It either hits the ground or partially ejects depending on how I am holding the gun. The mag ejector button should have a tighter fit and be less sensitive. Maybe Sigsauer could redesign the mag ejector so it could flipped around for left or right-handed shooting.

Well I ordered it and received it quickly. Shot it a few times in the back yard. Well since I am quarantined, I set up some targets in my back yard. I sure am glad I bought the big box of co2 cylinders. I have run quite a few though it this last week. I can’t get to the range so this has kept me sane. Close enough to my EDC P226!

The weight and feel of the pistol are very nice. Accuracy is what you would expect from a pistol. Would make a good train ring weapon
Things I would have changed:I would absolutely change the style of the clip. True, it holds 16 rounds but you have to flip it halfway there. The magazine also ejects out accidently if you happen to be left handed, which I am.

I bought this as a step-up combination to use along with dry-fire practice to maintain accuracy skills. This handgun is dead-on at ten meters (my usual practice range) with match grade pellets. The magazine allows 16 shots before reload. The photo demonstrates the 10 meter accuracy with this handgun.

My wife and I shoot P226 SAO Legion SIg. This is a very close replica for practice. Weight and handling are very realistic! Fun to shoot indoors and train, and train muscle memory for trigger. We use a light weight target pellet which extends co2 use. We recommend! Pyramid delivered fast ad the transaction was easy. This is our first purchase and will buy from this company again.
Things I would have changed:Someone to load magazines, or design a speed loader. Very easy in a training session to use up 500 rounds.

Looked and felt good, just like its big brother, was so looking forward to lots of fun............
Things I would have changed:Better QC on the slide buffer, the shoddy plastic buffer breaks and the slide will fly off, not a one off as it has happened to my first one which was replaced under warranty and now that one has done the same, others with this pistol have had the same thing happen. The sights are rubbish so basically while fun to use its just junk.
What others should know:Spend your money on something else, while its great fun the fun doesn't last....

I bought this 60 days ago and it worked great for the first 45 days. I have a pellet trap in my garage and I thought it’d be a great trainer and save me some money. All was well until the air valve began to leak. Then, a few canisters after that it ceased to function at all. The hammer is stuck back and it will not fall or fire no matter what I do to it. I’m pretty dissatisfied. The only reason I’m giving two stars is for the realism and weight.

Two immediate things to mention - while this does blowback, it is basically all for show - the slide does not lock back at the last pellet and does not lock open and is not removable. And, not quite sure why more people are not mentioning the amazingly fantastic CO2 cartridge loading system this has - lever actuated with no tools needed! Makes swapping out cartridges a breeze and lets one take this anywhere without needing to pre-load. The pistol I received, I did need to stretch out and replace the loader door spring because it fell out.... And, as many others have mentioned, the magazines are a bit of a disappointment quality-wise, and the eject button is way too easy to push, and the magazine will fall out without fail very quickly. And, yes, depending upon pellets, some will be very loose in the mag.

Bought this for help with training how to handle a P226 for a relative. Was not disappointed. Handling and weight is spot on.

As said above overall a good gun, tolerance on the slide to frame is a bit sloppy, but acceptable. The CO2 swap is easy, but not very realistic & I don't like the plastic mags. One more thing, only one of the secondary controls is functional IE the safety and on occasion mine fails to drop the hammer as it is set. Despite these issues I like the gun, feels right, looks right, handles well, but I do feel that with all the features from other models of Sig's a very much more realistic and functional P226 could be produced. So a metal Mag incorporating both CO2 and pellets, maybe utilizing your Belt feed system, yes I realize a fair amount of re engineering would be needed to get it all in, but it would be so much better, make it field stripable. If that gun finds it's way to market I will be first inline to purchase! Yes I know it would cost a deal more than the current 226, but what a model it would be!!

I bought it for self defense. It has great balance of power, weight and handling. I would recommend it for any type of job.

Really disappointed! I own several Sig firearms including the forerunner of the P220 which was made in Germany by Browning and still have them, Bought this 8 months ago to plink and practice with because it has the weight and operation of my P226. I was relying on the build quality of a SIg. It felt solid and operated well, at first. Starting after 3 mos. It has developed a number of progressive problems: magazines get stuck and won't releases. It cycles , but no pellets come out or if they do they fall out.. The safety is hard to operate (and has been since I owned it). I have to say that I am disappointed in the build quality considering this is a Sig and one of the finest made firearms around (IMHO). Maybe the quality only applies to the actual handguns and not the air guns. This model, at the very least, does not represent well. Perhaps the other airgun models are better.

Nice look and feel, but the ammo falls out of the clip, the magazine stall, frustrating experience while try to shoot

Had my ex for 2 years now and 2200 rounds and still working perfect. Good accuracy but improved when fixing the barrel slack. (electric tape around the barrel inside the gun mecanisme) The slide has some slack too but seems not to do it worse. Shoots at centre of target from the 6 to 10 meters I shoot at. A co2 canister last about 80 shots so my 5 mags is perfect, no need to reload them until the co2 is empty. The only time it failed to shoot was when using wrong ammo. I am shooting outdoors so I use lead free ammo. Some brands tend to get stuck in the mag due to being hadder than lead ammo. But finding the right ammo it works fine. H&N Match green and H&N field target troopy works fine. Really like the way to load co2, quick and simple. No needs for tools. A fun gun to knock down steel targets with. Steel targets for soft air guns works fine (tactrainers targets)

Muscle cramps cause it`s soo heavy. I love the way the smoke blows out at the end of my suppressor after first shots. It`s a bit loud but not too much. The accuracy is practically dead on
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:DO NOT BACK OUT WHEN INSERTING CO2. I hesitated and pression was lost and had to immediately change co2. JUST PUSH THE CAPSULE BACK UP FAST and everything will be fine.

If you're looking for a training tool, this is a good one. The weight and handling promotes good muscle memory, and the 226 air pistol doubles as a good introductory tool for novice shooters. The evolution of these air pistols is pretty incredible. I hadn't shot, in any form, for over 30 years. As someone who wants to ease back into the realm of enthusiasts, this was a great alternative to going all in right out of the gate. This one performs well and handles nicely. I've gotten some of my form back ahead of going in for courses. Thanks, Sig Sauer.
