    P226 clone

As indicated above, this air gun looks and feels like my P226 Mk 25. It provides a good substitute for both dry and live fire, both without having to go to the range with the current ammo situation, it also provides an inexpensive way to practice. It does, however, not fire every pellet. Cleaning, if at all, should be addressed.

Works fine. I haven't had a chance to test it for accuracy yet.

    P226 Air Pistol (pellet) Review

    It's a Joy.
I previously purchased a P365 Air Pistol for practice drawing and shooting as my carry gun is a P365. I enjoyed it to the point of ordering this P226. I have a P226 Legion RX and thought this would be a fun and useful way to practice in my back yard without upsetting the neighbors.
This air gun is fun and useful, and very accurate for a pellet gun.
Nothing takes the place of practicing with a real gun and real ammunition, but when you can't get to the range or find 9mm ammo, this is a very good replacement.
I recommend this. Get one and have fun.

    Happy with my purchase

A way to keep my weekly target practices at home with the COVID-19 .

  • Rating 3.03.0 3.0

Beautifull but have to let it catch up between shots

No continuous fire have to turn saftey on and off between each shot for some unknown reason

Sig quality from performance to appearance. Great air pistol for practice and training.

Looks like the real thing. VERY INACCURATE!

I am sorry I purchased this. I bought it to practice shooting targets in yard. The point of impact varies so much from one shot to the next that it is almost useless.

    Great product

The P226 air pistol has the feel of a real P226 handgun. A good practice tool for training.

    Introduction to handgun

I purchased the air pistol for my nephew. It's the first time he's ever touched a firearm. I wanted to introduce him to target shooting without the muzzle flash or recoil. Get him excited about target shooting and then move him him into a 9mm. Great intro handgun.

    Things I liked:

Well built and sturdy. It is made of metal not plastic with good weight. It is made in Japan.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine will drop easily and its blowback wastes much gas.

    What others should know:

Its magazine is totally compatible with Gamo P430.

    Things I liked:

I purchased this CO2 pistol to go with my MantisX training system. The weight, feel and action of this pistol work out very well for indoor practice (of course no pellets loaded) and can dial in my shooting. No modification needed to continually fire this pistol with the mantisX.

    Things I would have changed:

loading this with a new CO2 cartridge can be a bit tricky and the access door isn't easy to open. The trigger pull and feel could be improved, but not terrible for its purpose.

    What others should know:

accuracy of it as a pellet pistol is good as well if you chose to use it that way.

    Things I liked:

Imitates my real Sig P226 well. Familiar controls. Good trainer in that respect.

    Things I would have changed:

Better accuracy. More importantly, more consistent use of gas. The first few shots are hot & high, next 5-8 are more or less predictable and then it starts lobbing jelly doughnuts.

    What others should know:

Gas use as mentioned above. Not powerful enough to trip BB rated steel targets.
Great for a 226 trainer. Otherwise, I'd look at other options.

Good Weight & Feel Perfect for Training

Have yet to fire pellet rounds, Sig branded CO2 and pellets were sold out when I first purchased, but the P226 accurately mimics the weight and feel of the traditional Sig P226 chambered in 9mm. There is blow-back action, however, the ejection port isn't hollowed out. Additionally, the mag is not full-sized, but follows a rotary clip design, essentially doubling each magazine from eight to sixteen (you'll have to eject the mag, and flip 180 degrees to access the other eight). You can fire metal BBs or .177 pellets interchangeably according to the included instructions. All metal construction is a nice touch. White dot sights in the rear, and the option to fire double-action or single-action. I'd go for 5 stars, but I haven't had the opportunity to test target grouping as of yet. 4 stars out the box without any add-ons, or mods. Yes, I'd recommend!

    Things I liked:

    Weight

    Things I would have changed:

Not much - maybe a louder "click" when the clip is put back in, so you would know it is all the way in.

    What others should know:

    Nope.

    Things I liked:

    Looks like the real thing.

    Things I would have changed:

I would buy something more accurate. The gun did little damage to the target. Not what I expected.

    What others should know:

Buy something more powerful. Pellets are lacking in size.

    Things I liked:

Easy to operate and good Item to practice with without going to the range which sometimes closed due to the pandemic.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. For me, everything is fine.

    What others should know:

One of the better co2 powered pistols on the market.
