An update here ... I have now fired over 200 mags through this gun and it functions perfectly. Do the math, that is 4000+ rounds. This is by far one of my favorite action air pistols.

Nothing really, maybe adjustable sights, but the thing is dead on as it is.

I've read complaints in other reviews about the mag not sitting flush with the butt. I have never found this to matter in any way. The recess is mimimal and a quick crisp insertion of the mag seats it every time- with out fail! One of the best buys on the market for some who really shoots a hell of a lot!

Every thing!!! This is possibly my favorite air pistol. Sights right on, shoots harded than it has a right for as many shot as it gets. Shoots almost as hard as my Daisy 15xt's, get almost as many shots as my Beretta Elite. This is the pistol I carry to the woods-every time!(No matter what else I carry).

Adjustible sights, but no biggy because the sights are right on.

OK, this pistol has had 500 mags through it if it has had one ... that is 10,000 rounds. It begs for more. Words fail me in discribing how much I like this pistol. The only thing is the trigger pull, it takes a little getting used to. Actually now that I am used to it, it is about my most accurate action pistol on any given day. Just pull it until you hear a click, then soon there after the thing will shoot. You get used to it. A fine fine pistol!

This gun feels good in my hand and is well balanced. Seems to be pretty powerful for a gun of this price range. Accuracy is also very good. I think the CO2 seals could be better. I do like the drop out BB magazine, as well as the sites. great for plinking and is comfortable enough to fire for hours. probably unbeatable for the money..

For the money I think its a fine gun, however the seals for the CO2 cartridge are not as good as I had hoped. I have a Walther which has better seals.Although I really like the magazine, at times it seems to jam. I would like to see airguns with a working safety that is in the same place as the real guns they copy.

Very nice gun for the bucks. I only have one other airgun so I don't have a lot to compare it to. But I would recommend this pistol. A good addition to any collection.

Looks nice.co2 hides nicely in the hand grip. Once you get used to the light weight,plasticy feel, it is fairly accurate. I perfer a heavier gun but this one is good.

I see guns here made of metal for around the same price. So, I don't see why this gun couldn't be metal too. Like the Colt Defender....

Not bad hits hard and is fairly accurate.

I can't say this is the most accurate beast but at short range with enough ammo you can do some signifigant damage to a target. the co2 charging screw is perfectly hidden in the hand grip and it's comfortable to use.

This is all plastic so it's very light which makes it a rather unsteady shooter with it's typical heavy bb gun trigger.

not too bad of a gun if you like light weight plastic guns. I prefer a heavier all metal gun though.

The fiber optic sights are helpful. Nice size for my hand.

The trigger. As noted by someone else it is very,very long. Once used to it accuracey improves.

Not a bad entry level gun. Very plasticky and seems a bit cheap. Works well,no jams,uses a common stick magazine. I feel you would do better with something a little more upscale.

Quality control

The M&P I purchased failed on the first magazine I tried to shoot. BBs jammed every time, and the gun went fully auto releasing all the co2. The barrel acts as the hammer and a jammed bb at the chamber end causes the gun to go full auto. I would not recommend this BB pistol unless you are willing to return it back and forth to PyramidAir to get a functioning pistol. (which I have yet to receive)

Weight, accuracy and quality. I bought this a year ago or so at a local sports store. I was looking for a pistol that was light weight, accurate and had a smooth trigger pull. This is what I came up w/ in hours of research. It is very easy to shoot.

Make the mag flush w/ the bottom of the pistol grip.

I personally like that it doesn't have a blow back slide. That makes it more gas efficient and gives it more power. It's a great gun to take camping. I found out that the fiber optic can be removed. Be careful however, it can break kinda easily. I broke a small portion of it. My fault, not the guns'. My friends and I have put thousands of rounds through it and not one problem. I only put good quality bbs through it. Specifically Daisy's. Something I noticed, the handle for the co2 tighting screw will rattle. So I have it held down by electrical tape so now it is nice and quiet. You do have to be careful when pulling back the grip. Though it is easy to put back on. I don't have a problem w/ the plastic. I work in the plastic industry, and usually w/ plastic that is more flexible will not break as easily as some harder plastics. Basically, it's not as fragile. To each his own w/ the variety of attachments out there. I personally have more use w/ tac lights than lasers.Another thing to note, the inner barrel slides out at as you pull the trigger. When it breaks, it will slam back in and fire a round. This is normal and seems to be an efficiant use of co2.

The looks are so cool. It is slim and feels real good in your hand. The accuracy is very good! I'm getting 7 or 8 mags out of a co2 powerlet. I was amazed at this as hard as this thing shoots. I really like this pistol.

As accurate as this thing is it really needs adjustable sights. But the sights on mine seem to be right on, so no big deal.

The trigger pull is a little funny getting used to. It is long then you hear a click as something engauges then ... pow. Now that I am used to it, I don't even notice it. A very good gun!

shoots straight, uses very little c02, feels great in the hand. all around a good buy!

the sliding handle is a little cumbersome to work with, but it would not stop me from buying another one.

It jams once in a blue moon if you use cheap bbs, but it is a sinch to fix. Just release the mag, let the bb fall, slide the mag back in, and continue shooting. This is a good pistol. I have run about 3000 shots through it, and I am still happy.

I bought this without any real research and was pleaseantly surprised how accurate it is and performance was more that I would have ever expected. I put a aluminum can out at the other side of my yard and gave it a shot. I hit it over and over again! Pistol fits my hands perfectly and the trigger is pretty good too. Makes me wonder if I should buy the real deal from Smith and Wesson!

How about a extra magazine with the initial purchase? 2 mags would be cool, no big deal though. I'll order a few extras soon.

This is a accurate rig for the money. I really enjoy it!

I really like how mine looks, it is a dead wringer for an M&P. This guns power (435fps) and accuracy go well with how it looks. My M&P will shoot steel cans to pieces with two CO2s worth of shooting. The little BB magazines are excellent also, they are easy to load and spring feed makes them very reliable. Finally the accessory rail makes all this an even more fun and a better value.

Because of my fading vision, I would recommend putting fiber optic sights front and rear on every variation of this airgun. This model only has fiber optics on the rear sight. Why not make these fine little BB guns with adjustable velocity, like my Marauder. Smoother trigger?

These little BB pistols are more powerful than any Daisy springer air rifles. Buy lots of BBs and CO2. You will also need a few spare magazines. The Marksman BB Loaders are worth the money. These guns are very light, I hung a light on mine, to give it a little more muzzle weight

Everything,this is the second one I have ordered from Pyramyd. My first one was all black. They have great power and shoot straight. Can shoot a good six clips on one co2, all for $40.00. GREAT DEAL...

This is just one fun pistol and a very accurate shot for the money. It looks so much like it real cousin. It feels really solid in your hand and I have big hands. Although it is made of as plastic mix, it feels a lot like the original.

I would have liked to be able to adjust the iron sites. And have them cut a little more closed. But that being said, it is still a very fun pistol to shoot.

As I said before, this pistol is mostly plastic, but don't let that change your mind about purchasing it. It is a nicely put together item. It also gets a bunch of shots off of a standard CO2. Have fun shooting!

Size and scale are accurate to the M&P handgun and the fiber optic sights are a good feature. Accuracy is nice but I wish there were heavier round bbs to improve trajectory a bit. Low noise report is good, it pretty much just spits and has good power and range. The stick mags are very nice so get a few. They load fast and no jams. The tactical rail is a very nice feature, as it handles lasers/lights well and gives a LE/Military edge in tactical training scenarios

Terribly plasticky grip. I could not beleive Smith & Wesson allowed the vendor to get away with this. The grip is so cheaply made that when you slide it back to load the CO2, it can come off in your hand. Not good.

A good gun for the money. Get a good holster, gun case and accessories with the $$ you save, this could easily have been a more expensive gun. Safe and happy shooting.

Feels like a real gun in your hand. Drop out bb mags are great.

Make it heaver. Feels to light when shooting.

Buy the extra magazines. You will need them.

It looks just like the real thing, no cycle problems, drop out mag, great penetration, ACURATE!!!, the CO2 power doesn't dissipate quickly like other Air guns, good feel. Shooting this gives great practice that is extremely affordable. I'm law enforcement and bought this just to practice sight alignment and trigger squeeze, but it delivers so much more. Outstanding product, worth every cent.

he CO2 cover seems like a potential weakness. I would say including an extra mag for reload drills.

The BB's tend to fall out of the mag some times when reloading, so make sure to put your finger over the end when reloading. Usually I wouldn't recommend rail accessories for such a small investment, but I have four 9MM's with Weaver rails, so it works out.

Will shoot through just about anything. The drop out clip is easy to reload, Rail mount is perfect for my laser. Feels and kicks like the real thing. The price is awesome.

The cover over the CO2 cartridge. Seems it will weaken over time

Buy a lot of ammo, I have been getting 5 clips to the cartridge.

Very realistic. Is identical to the S&W M&P firearm except in weight. Very versatile and plenty of punch. Worth every dime of the price. Easy magazine changes. Makes plenty of noise.

Speed in which the gun will shoot. I've found that I can pull the trigger faster than the gun can reset itself. I don't like the way the CO2 cylinder is loaded, its kind of tacky almost disgusts me.

Three and a half full clips will drain a CO2 cylinder. Don't get it if you are a fast shooter. The black model looks more realistic. If you buy it make sure and get some extra clips.
