Where you Load BBs is kinda annoying the spring can be little touchy.

just buy this one.... I had the p08 blowback. And all I had was nothing But problems.

The Tanfoglio 1911 that was purchases December 2015 performs excellent. The purpose for selecting that particular model, was for instructional use prior to the use of a Springfield 1911 A 1. My wife had requested that she be schooled in the use of weapons for home protection if the need arose. She is not all that interested in visiting the range on a frequent schedule so this will allow practice with the Tanfoglio in the back yard. The weight and feel of the Tanfoglio is so close to the 1911 that picking up the real thing would seem natural. Naturally all the weapon safety procedures are paramount in this teaching effort. Strip down, cleaning and assembly are likewise included as well as clearing a jam. We can highly recommend the Tanfoglio 1911.

This gun is an exact replica of a 1911. It don't get better than this. And this is my 2nd one that I have bought. On this new one, they fixed the safety to be more like the real 1911. Great smooth trigger. I have 5 different kinds of BB's that I have tried in my new gun and I seams to like the new Hornady Black Diamond BB's the best. I get 50 shots out of my Leland CO2 carts.

this gun feels good in my hand. the trigger pull is short and easy. the accuracy is good for a smooth bore. I've shot many mags though it and only had very few jams, this gun has been very reliable! fun to customize too !

could have just a little more power.

I bought 4 extra mags for a lot of quick fire fun. this gun has been a great value and a bunch of fun!!

Only tried it 0nce. Operated very well and gave good performance. Looks very much like the real 45 Auto.

The slot for entering the BBs into the magazine so that the spring could be in a locked condition. In doing so you limit the number of BBS that can be enter to 15 rather than 18.

honestly i love everything about this gun its so realistic and the feel is awesome and the trigger is great and the way its loaded

is that loading the steel bbs is a hassle

Well i received this gun about a month ago, and i have no complaints, you're getting a high-end airgun for less than a 100$. The accuracy is very good, the sights are well adjusted. It really feels like a real gun, the weight and the handling itself.

Well there's not much to change, maybe some woodgrips would be great, but you can also find them on ebay and adapt them to your gun.

C02 Cartridge lasts about 3 full magazines. Try not to cock the gun more than 2 times because bbs can jam up.

realistic look, able to field strip. nice feel to it. ok accuracy when it worked

this pistol is a piece of junk, shot it twice, both times it jammed up. feeds two or three bbs at a time, slide doesnt fully go into battery. called palco sports about repairing it, they told me sorry its out of warranty. offered to pay to have it fixed, tech told me he cant get any parts, its a 99.00 paperweight now.

For close range shooting (15 yards) pretty accurate. Has a fairly good range of about 45 to 50 yards. Really fun to shoot!

A lock on the magazine spring to load would be nice. Otherwise, not too difficult to load the magazine.

Looks and operates like the real thing. Will impress your friends.

Other than a few minor things different this is a perfect bb firing replica of my actual 1911. It field strips almost like a real one. All levers, safeties work identical to the real thing. Even the magazine is identical in size and fit to the real thing. Even the internal parts you can't really see are almost identical. It feels like my real 1911, almost recoils like the real one, cycles the gun like the real thing. In all this is the perfect inexpensive training pistol so when the time comes and you need to really take the shot with the real 1911 you will be well prepared to do it at fraction of the cost.

Not good for self defense but perfect for training to use the real thing which is my purpose for it.

Truly a very good gun all around. Functions great and it's accurate. Went through 20 co2 in a week and no problems with the gun at all, only the magazine, piece of metal blocked the valve but that was a easy fix.

Grips are nice but wood grips would make it a 6 star.

It is a blowback so be aware of the lower fps and lesser shot capacity of co2

Great fun to shoot. The blowback is a cool feature and adds to the realize. My boys and I have been through 5-8 cartridges and we have killed some cans and Army men...money well spent. It feels great in your hand and also very well built.

Only thing I would do is figure out a way to make loading a little easier on your fingernails. Holding the pin back gets painful after 8-10 reloads.

If you want an accurate replica 1911 that fires well and is fun and easy to shoot. This is it.

The overall amazing realism even down to the blowback, trigger, and kick. Great accuracy. Full size magazine. Solid all metal construction with the exception of the grips.

Nothing other than wood grips which would greatly increase the price so...

This gun is not for the young, it has a lot of kick and is easy to hurt yourself with due to the moving slide if you don't know how to handle a 1911.

Balance, wgt, high accuracy. This pistol is in the top three of my firearms as far as accuracy

TOO FRAGILE - I've owned 4 of these over the years and each has broken down within 6 WEEKS and under 750 shots!

Maybe, you'll be luckier than me, but keep close tab on your warranty days!

Has the look and feel of a real 1911. Obviously it doesn't have the weight and the trigger feel, but otherwise it's pretty good. I also like the ability to field strip the mechanism. Its only about 5 ft-lbs at the muzzle, but it seems like more and shoots pretty accurate at 25 yards. Like a real 1911, the first shot is DA and the remainder of the magazine is SA.

A lot of things COULD be changed if money were no object, but at this price point, you get a lot of value. I would prefer pellets to BBs.

I bought this gun for backyard practice and it works well for that, even without the noise and recoil. It is a supplement, not a replacement, for dry-fire and range time.

Twenty years as a licensed gunsmith, I know my guns. This gun is an amazing copy and an exceptional value at this price. Everything looks and operates as it does on the real 1911. The fit and finish on all the parts is near perfect. Currently, its too cold outside to shoot this but from all the excellent reviews I've read I'm sure I won't be disappointed. If you want the experience of owning and shooting a Colt type 1911 buy this gun.

I'm retired now but for 20 years I owned and operated a gun store and indoor shooting range. During that time I was also a NYS licensed gunsmith. I specialized in customizing Colt 1911's. Just for kicks I purchased a Denix 1911 replica from a "Replica Guns Direct" site for $117. When it arrived, to say I was disappointed is an understatement. What a piece of junk! It looked like a 1911 but nothing was functional. Also, the fit and finish was horrible. The slide wouldn't even fully retract. I complained to the seller and they would only take it back if I paid a 20% restocking fee. They are now on my "S**T" list. If you're looking for a true 1911 style replica this Tanfoglio is spot on. I was so impressed with this gun I ordered 12 more assorted replicas from Pyramyd Air. When they arrived I inspected them all and they're all excellent. The Uzi magazine catch wasn't working but that was a 5 minute fix. The functionality and attention to detail is amazing at this price point.

I purchased this because I already owned the Remington 1911 RAC and I knew this pistol was similar. This pistol is just as good quality as the Remington version.

On my gun in particular, the safety can be engaged without the hammer cocked back. Although I like this, it does not match the behavior of the real 1911.

My particular pistol jammed up every two or so rounds when I received it; a little grease on the slide rails and barrel fixed this problem.

I like everything, except grips. Huge replica pistol, smooth trigger.
