I love to bow hunt! I bought my first TenPoint in 2008 after having open heart surgery and bought that bow related to the Acudraw. I’ve been hooked ever since. My husband just bought me the Havoc RS440 XERO for my birthday, he is the best! We chose this bow related to the weight, the size, the cocking system and the scope. I will be 64 this year and wanted a lighter bow with a shorter length and narrow end. I also hunt almost daily (waiting for the big one) so the uncocking feature was a plus. Lastly, the scope, the range feature is awesome. It wasn’t about speed for me. It is quality, craftsmanship, safety features, ease of use, comfort and customer service. We have purchased four TenPoint bows and have never been disappointed.

Crazy fast and accurate. But what I really like is the cocking aid. It works incredibly well cocking and decocking. I really like the control and smoothness of decocking.

Great bow. Only one concern: battery life, because if it dies on the field you better have a spare, or you are dead in the water.

Received my RS 440 Xero this week and was well packaged. However I did not get the two lithium batteries for the range finding Xero scope so I couldn't fully set it up.
The enclosed instructions and online videos were helpful in the minimum assembly required. Looking forward to being able to sight it in once I get my scope batteries.

I have owned 5 Tenpoint crossbows over the years. Like all of them, but just love my Viper 400, and new Havoc440Xero.

The crossbow is excellent, the Garmin sight is excellent. I shot a small buck and my wife shot a Doe this year, it performed perfectly.

After much investigation and research, watching every video I could on yourtube and the manufactures sites it came down to 2 manufacturers and models of crossbows. I decided to go with the Tenpoint Havoc with Garmin Xero. The two primary reasons were the Havocs quiet cocking, de-cocking ability and safety in comparison to its competitor, and reverse draw for balance. I spent nearly $4000 including arrows , target, and accessories. My first day at the range was dismal, I spent 5 hours doing every thing I could to get it sighted in. During the sighting in process I only used one arrow at a time. During that day I had a couple of shots where it sounded funny and smelled like gun powder resulting it complete target misses losing the arrow, I never saw where they went. Not having any experience with crossbows I figured it was nothing. It just would not shoot accurately. I figured it was me, but the second day things went down hill quickly. The bow was destroying the nocks! I decided to give the lighted arrows a try and both arrows I tried resulted in the batteries exploding with the second one breaking the string and bending a cable pin!! I called the dealer and he wanted to see it and replace the string and cables. He replaced the string and replaced the pin and decided to try shooting a lighted nock resulting in that one also exploding on him! Course I wasn't very happy this was happening , but he was gracious and accommodating ,and gave me 3 new lighted arrows. I took it back home and the following day I again attempted to sight in the bow. No go! I again had nocks exploding and bending and contacted him. He asked for the bow and would attempt to figure out what might be wrong over the weekend. That day he called and told me the limb was bad and would be ordering a new set. A week went by and he notified me the new limbs were installed and it was ready to be picked up. I was excited the bow was fixed! I proceeded to again attempt to sight in the bow and immediately the first arrow blew the nock off resulting in a partial dry fire! I decided not to use the white nock arrows and glue in the green nocks and finally got the bow reasonably sighted in, it's still pretty poor. I decided I would use it and have been hunting with it. Within a week of loading and decocking the bow the while hunting the accuslide mechanism slowly got tighter resulting in becoming so tight it would no longer release and twisted the crank end. I took it back to the dealer and he took it apart and replaced the part and giving me a new crank. At this point I really haven't much faith in the nock system and was glad to hear from my dealer that a fix was currently on its way. After the season is over I will contact Tenpoint and ask them to take the bow and have someone there shoot it for a few days and decide if the problem with the bow is just the nocks or a combination of multiple things. In all fairness to Tenpoint I have never contacted them and have only been in contact with my dealer who has taken care of the issues.

It’s a beautiful designed bow… super easy to assemble… normally a compound hunter, but pulled my shoulder out …

The bow is great. I didn’t get a quiver or scope lens covers in package. Not able to get anyone from store or manufacture to reply and provide them. Poor service.

Worth the investment. I’ve already recommended this product combination to several friends. Honestly believe anyone would be completely satisfied with this purchase. Extremely fast, extremely accurate!

So far it’s impressive it’s shooting 442fps out of the box took a little bit to get sighted in but was supper easy once I started to shoot it definitely glad I went with the garmin scope it’s out of this world

The bow is very light, easy to setup, and deadly accurate. Hands down the best now I have ever owned. Definitely worth the cost to own the best!
