This is my first crossbow and I love it. I had to switch from a compound bow due to an injury and did a lot of research before buying. Though it is slightly longer than some of the others, it feels really well balanced, especially using in combination with the Steady Eddy. Very accurate and fast.

So far so good! I haven’t got anything yet but it surely hits hard and accurate. So easily zeroed in.

This is a great bow for the price, speed, accuracy and quality. I purchased this bow and had it sighted in at 60 yards in the matter of 30mins. Shooting for 60+ inside a coffee can area. The cocking and de-cocking are very simple and easy to use making this bow very fun to shoot. The only problem that I’ve had with it is on the crank tool is the piece that attaches to the bow. It’s a little silver square head that locks into the bow and allows you to crack the bow back. I prob cranked the bow around 50 times at this point but one morning before I walked to my stand I cranked my bow back at the truck and after I tried to go put the crank tool away that little silver piece fell off the crank handle. Luckily I was able to find it but if was in the woods it prob would have been lost forever. I got to looking at the handle and there is a little set screw in there that holds that metal piece on the crank handle. I got that tightened up and haven’t had any problems since. I would advise anyone with a TenPoint Crossbow with a crank to check this set screw and avoid the headache of losing that piece. With that being said tho I would highly recommend TenPoint Crossbows to anyone looking to buy a great quality bow!

Absolutely love this crossbow took down a large Doe and 3+ yr old buck both heart shots. Arrow passed completely thru both sides of the rib cage with ease. Easy cocking and decocking.

After owning my bow for one year here is my take. Overall, an excellent crossbow. Since my purches mid season last year I have harvested six deer. The only drawback i have found is with the safety. The safety lever could be a bit longer and should be on both sides of the bow. If this would be corrected i would rate this a 10. You will not be dissapointed with the quality, speed, & accuracy of this crossbow.

Awesome crossbow quiet enough that no deer has heard the bolt so far will shoot 1 inch groups at 75 yards no problem cocking and decocking setup works as advertised trigger is good not expensive rifle good but good for a crossbow

I am thoroughly impressed with the build quality of this crossbow. It is the first that I’ve owned. I bought it at a big box store, and I feel the salesman steered me in the right direction. Get the lighted nok bolts, you’ll thank me later. As a handicapped hunter, I don’t see any need to look any further. My son help me set it up and I took my first doe since my accident with it the other day. Complete double lung pass-through with 100gr Muzzy Trocar 3 blades. She came straight towards me and turned broadside at 35 yards. I let it fly. Don’t even remember the trigger pull. Put a huge smile on my face and a proud moment in my heart hunting with my son again!!! That’s a fist bump I’ll NEVER forget!!!! Easy enough for my wife to help me crank when he is not available. I was big into archery before. This TurboS1 will get me back into the game again. Both of them shoot Matthews. K Bass

Purchased the turbo s1 this summer (2023). I should went with my instincts. Arrow doesn't sit firmly in the rail constantly clinking while walking, bow is extremely loud when fired even with dampenners. Scope doesn't zoom in closely. For a high dollar bow it lacks. I was looking at the new 505 but definitely changed my mind. I'll off this bow and go with a different brand. Extremely disappointed . For the prices i paid for this crossbow I expected a lot more as fare as quality, functionality and performance.

This is a great looking cross bow. It has a great feel when you shoot it. I love the to be able to ratchet the bow back instead of pulling it back. All around it is a a really great cross bow

Great crossbow terrible cocking device that will break and will not be covered by warranty

I purchased the Turbo S1 for three reasons. First, I wanted to replace my Horton Vortec RDX with a forward draw crossbow. I am very satisfied with this...check box one. Second, I wanted the AcuSlide. Love it and don't know that I would use anything else now.....check box two. Third, I wanted to increase arrow speed. Nope, not able to check that third box. I was somewhat disappointed with the arrow speed. The Turbo S1 is rated for 390 fps with the Pro Elite 400 and 370 fps with the Evo-X. But I was getting 360 with the Pro Elite 400 and only 345 with the Evo-X. I emailed Tenpoint and did get a prompt response (thank you for that) stating the strings had probably stretched and I should take it back to the dealer to have the cables twisted. The dealer called Tenpoint and was told the same thing, but the TP tech would not advise how many twists. So, I got one twist, which did increase the speeds to 375 and 360. Ok, still not as advertised, but I can live with that. BUT, I have one more issue and don't know if it is the crossbow or the arrows. My collection of older EVO-X arrows (with Alpha Brite Red nocks) shoots extremely well. When I purchased this crossbow, I exchanged the included three pack of Pro ELite 400 for a six pack of new EVO-X Alpha HP nocks and ante upped the difference. (also found out red Alpha Blaze is not an option :( ) The new Alpha HP arrows will NOT group. One is 1-1/2" high right, the next might be 1" low left. One was so high, it shot over the target and into the deep woods. No consistency. Not sure why this is happening, but definitely not acceptable. If Tenpoint could solve the EVO-X Alpha Blaze inconsistency, I would probably move this up to a 4-star for sure, maybe even 5-star.

Great looking crossbow with simple and safe cocking and de-cocking

So far I haven't shot my crossbow very much because the break keeps tearing up. I've had it fixed once. Got it back yesterday and shot it 6 times today and now I'm having problems again. It won't crank up. I'm assuming it's the break again. So more down time. Season starts in less than 2 weeks and I hoping this brand new tenpoint turbo s1 will finally get lined out. May be my review will be better in a month or two. Just glad we have service center nearby.

The turbo s1 is so comfortable to shoot. Its very accurate and quitter then my old stealth fx4.

The Turbo S1 is a great bow, easy to cock but my complaint is the quiver placement. The configuration positions the bolts at a terrible angle for shooting. Since this is a hunting bow, I need the bolts easy to reach when hunting. At the current quiver position, the bolts end up being in the way of my arm/elbow. 8-4-23 I contacted Ten Point by phone, and they are not planning to change this design or make any type of different quiver placement adapters for current owners. Which is why I gave a 3 star rating.

First time owning a crossbow. I am very impressed by the build quality and the thought that went into the design. Its very simple to operate and feels very safe. The acu-slide system is amazing, makes for a very accurate bow. Sighted the bow in at 20 yards, and after a few shots at 40 yards and dialing in the speed with the scope, I was hitting bullseyes from a seated position easily. The trigger is wonderful and the ergonomics of the stock make shooting it easy. Read the manual, understand how to operate this thing, and you shouldn't have any problems.
