    Things I liked:

    Accuracy and quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

    Magazine

    What others should know:

I purchased the Umarex Fusion 2 based on reviews. I did consider the reviews that mentioned some problems with the pellet magazine. I wish I had paid more attention. I purchased this air rifle because of the low noise level. I live close to homes in my neighborhood. It is quiet and very accurate when it works. I have no problem with loading a magazine and inserting it into the rifle. That is where the rifle fails for me. I pull the bolt back, slide it forward and it stops before it can be fully inserted. The pellet goes into the chamber but is damaged. The back of the pellet is deformed. I then have to pry the pellet back out of the chamber. I have tried 4 different pellet types with the same disappointing result. I finally gave up and the rifle has a proper place in the back of my closet. I purchased a different rifle that works consistently. As far as I am concerned the Umarex Fusion 2 is a waste of my money

    Things I liked:

The gun is quite accurate, balance is good, and the included scope is actually not bad. It is also quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

Suggestions to Umarex: 1) Make it so the gun will work with any CO2's. Crossman CO2's don't always both pierce. 2) Modify the magazines. All the ones I have (2 that came with the gun as well as 3 others) are not easy to insert and one could not be installed. The part of the magazine that goes under the end of the barrel is to high.

    What others should know:

DO NOT BUY THE 88gram CO2 adapter which is advertised as working on this gun on the Umarex site and Amazon. Pyramid Air still shows a picture of the Fusion 2 under the heading of "Compatible with......" although "Fusion 2" is not listed anymore. THIS ADAPTER DOES NOT WORK. I talked to Umarex at length, and they admit that although the adapter was made specifically to work with this gun, it turns out that the pin on the gun is to large to activate the valve on the adapter. Whoever designed the adapter needs to go back to engineering school. Hard to install magazines can be made to work well if you file a small amount of material off the part that slides under the end of the barrel. Don't worry, the magazine won't fall out after you do this since there is a spring loaded ball to keep it in place.

    Things I liked:

Very nice, inexpensive plinker. A lot of fun to shoot, the scope has held center since I first sighted it in. Not very picky about what pellets to use. Feels good in hand, light, quiet and a comfortable rifle that my 72 year old mother had no problem picking up and shooting a tin can with her first shot.

    Things I would have changed:

If I were the UX designer, I would say the the CO2 double cartridge tank really should have an accessible spot where it can be turned with a wrench to remove. The stock should be partially removable to allow easier access for inserting and removing the 88g CO2 cartridge. I also purchased the CO2 saver for the 88g cartridges, but it was unusable because of the lack of access. Would require a wrench to unscrew the CO2 Saver from the gun without unscrewing the CO2 cartridge from the saver, but it is set so deep in the stock that a wrench is not an option. Also, the magazine fits loosely onto the gun, it should be a more snug fit for exact alignment with the bolt to load the next pellet. The bolt action is very finicky and I find myself constantly adjusting the magazine while pushing and pulling the bolt to attempt to load.

    What others should know:

I like this gun, lots of shots from the 88g CO2 cartridges (didn't count, but had to be over 150 maybe over 200), and the fact that it was accurate and quiet are great qualities for a back yard plinker, and its not too powerful, which is really a plus when teaching young shooters. It is good, but would be great with a few design adjustments. The tricky bolt/magazine combination has made me put this one down and pick up a different air gun repeatedly. I have several options for air guns at the house but only two CO2 powered rifles, and my niece, who cannot yet operate a break barrel, favors the Crosman 1077 over this CO2 gun. I may try the Ruger 10/22 CO2 rifle next and see if that is any better.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate with right pellet. Crosman Piranha pellets were terrible. You could see the pellets spiral to the right. But stacked cheap daisy wadcutters. Light, quiet, and easy to handle.

    Things I would have changed:

Smoother, more positive loading of mags into rifle. My only big complaint. They are a tight fit and you must be careful to fully seat. Oh and no bolt stop when mag empty. My 12g cartridge holder leaked. 88g cylinders worked fine.

    What others should know:

    Good value.

The feel and pointability are awesome. Accuracy was surprisingly well.

    Things I would have changed:

It is what it is for the price. has a long trigger pull.

    What others should know:

Best accuracy is with domed pellets. I use the 8gr pellets. The truth is on the box. 700 fps with alloy pellets. 600 fps with 7gr lead pellets. The gun has a real long trigger pull but you get use to it. The makes a little pop when fired. But your gonna get that with most guns

    Things I liked:

Gun is very accurate up to 30 yards, as well as out to 50 yards with a little Arkansas elevation. The included scope is actually pretty good. Being able to use 2 CO2s is great seeing as you will shoot a lot of pellets with the 9 round magazines.

    Things I would have changed:

Change the CO2 system so that Crossman cartridges work better. They don't always both pierce. Umarex Customer service says it is due to the neck on the Crossman cartridges being shorter than those on Umarex or other brand cartridges. Umarex suggested putting a dime between the two cartridges, and while that helped it did not always ensure they would both pierce. Also, screwing the CO2 cap on far enough is difficult if you don't open the air bleed screw a little, but when you do you will loose some of the CO2.

    What others should know:

You can run this gun with one cartridge by inserting a used one with a new one.

    Things I liked:

This one is amazingly accurate with my 12yd target setup. Better than my Beeman 1085 .22 and the Diana Stormrider .177. The weather warmed up at New England and I will take it out to to the backyard and do the 30yr test soon.

    Things I would have changed:

it leaks! When using the 2 12g CO2 cartridges, I can only get less than 50 shots, then a few more shots with the pellet dropping below the intended target and then it is done, so total it is around 55 shots. And guess what, half the time I can't tighten the relief valve enough to stop the leak, I can still hear a very faint hissing sound from the relief valve. I tried to put an O-ring in, and it didn't do any help. So when the leak happened, I can get a little over 40 shots, that's it! I also tried to use the 88g cartridge, I only get 140 shots before the pellet stopped coming out of the barrel.

    What others should know:

I've contacted Umarex today and asked them how to get the leak fixed, since I have no idea now where the leak is (or, where the leaks are!). Before I get the issue solved, I will just use 1 new 12g CO2 cartridge every time, but leave the first empty cartridge remaining in the housing. By doing this, I get around 27 shots for 1 new 12g CO2 cartridge.

    Things I liked:

The Fusion 2 worked just fine and dandy right out of the box. I tried the supplied scope and it worked well enough, though it could have been a bit more clear. Still, it zeroed in with two shots and held its point of aim; what more can we ask of a free optic? The accuracy was better than I'd hoped, dime size groups at 25 feet, which is about all the space I have available. It's pretty quiet too, so that is also a good thing.

    Things I would have changed:

At this price point? Not too much. Just don't over tighten the CO2 adapter or it can leak; I fixed this by backing off slightly on the exposed puncturing device once I heard the hiss. Now I know how much to tighten things; Hercules strength is not required for this operation.

    What others should know:

The mags worked best with domed pellets (JSB Match Diabolo Exact 8.4gr), my usual hollow points were a tad picky (H&N Crow Magnum's) and needed to be kept close to level when loading into mag opening. These are my usual pellets, I have yet to try any others at this time. I've since switched to a open red dot sight as the scope was no usable on the pesting front due to poor lighting when needed; that and my eyes are not the best. The Pellgun Oil makes a great lubrication for the seals and the CO2's, works like a charm.

    Things I liked:

A very accurate and quiet rifle. I also really like the ergonomics of the pistol grip stock. The rotory clips are easy to load.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger pull is long and hard, shorten the pull and lighten up the trigger. Also, add the notch to lock the bolt back....AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES! Having the notch to lock the bolt back would really help when inserting the rotory mag.

    What others should know:

The end seal failed after the third time of changing out the 12 gram CO2 cartridges. And before the poorly designed seal failed, I was only getting a 56 shot count. I enjoyed shooting my fusion so much, I didn't want to send it back! So, I found a way to get it to seal with an o ring I had. After converting it to HPA with a 13cc Air Venturi bottle, I am getting about 130 shots per fill! And yes, with some extensive modification to the stock using a dremel tool, the Fusion can be converted using a QB79 offset tank block. Now I have a super accurate, quite, powerfully .177 cal PCP! My converted Fusion is spot on accurate and powerful enough to make holes in both sides of a tin can at 35 yards! I have even taken it to our local rifle club and shot some impressive groups at 50 yards. If you have no experience working with high pressure air, seek help, or find someone to do the conversion for you. I am 61 years old and have no problem hand pumping to fill the Air Venturi 13cc bottle.

    Things I liked:

    Light comfortable accurate quite.

    Things I would have changed:

Need a little work on the mags. They are a little sloppy with certain pellets and they fit too tight. Hard to get in and out. The tube for the co2 cartridges would be nice if the threads holding it on were left hand threads. Everytime I put a cartridge in it comes loose when I try to unscrew the cap.

    What others should know:

My son and I have one. Neither one have had issues with leaking or anything else so far. This is a good gun for the money. If you are expecting something more then pay more money and get something else.

    Things I liked:

I've read some "complaints" that it's not as quiet as a Diana Chaser, I have the chaser in .177 and .22 and the difference in sound suppression is hard for me to tell. I think the Fusion 2 is quiet so pleased about that. Comes with 2 mags. I've not as yet had any issues with jamming etc but I am using target/flat nose pellets. Love that the 2 x 12 gram CO2 adapter easily removes and can be replaced with an 88 gram cartridge. Very nice feature. Rifle is very accurate. Was easy to dial in the scope. Not the greatest scope but overall, for the low, low price of this rifle, with mags and other features, who cares!!!!! Grip, thumbhole stock is very comfortable. Picatinny rail - nice feature.

    What others should know:

For the price, the performance is excellent. How can you go wrong??? Very pleased with the purchase. Shoots accurate and consistent. Comfortable to shoot, loaded with features you wouldn't expect for a rifle at this price. Hat's off to Umarex. Sure I could come up with lame excuses about missing features like an adjustable stock, adjustable trigger, blah, blah... If I wanted/had to pay $200+ ok... but for the price, awesome purchase. Buy one, you won't be unhappy.

    Things I would have changed:

Rotary mag is kind of snug to insert but im thinking it will loosen up over time. Would also be nice if it were possible to remove 88 gm co2 without losing gas. But 2 12 gram co2 setup is nice.

    What others should know:

This is a nice rifle. Would like to see this in a classic wood stock .22 version with open sights.
