grand kids love it.

I really recommend this gun. full.auto, real blowback. You can get extra mags, you'll need them. A real nice replica. Fits available canvas cases, which will also hold magazines. Order a strap too, this gun deserves it.

Maybe a notch to hold follower back while loading ?

The weight, the feel, the design are all great. I wasn't alive when the real gun was made, but it takes me back...very nostalgic. Can you imagine being given this gun to fight in a war!?

I think the strap/sling should have been included. There are options that I'm not familiar with......for instance ; to swivel or not to swivel - that is the question.

This gun is heavy, as it should be, it's 90% metal.

Shot all brands of bbs. Sounds like an MP5SD. Excellent reporoduction. Outstanding value.

Don't sandblast the metal before the finish is applied.

Everyone compares this to an MP40. The main difference is that one feels like a weapon and the other feels like a bb gun.

It has actually fired maybe ten bbs out of four sets of CO2 tubes (on drop of oil on top) I am probably using the wrong bbs, the black oxide coated or Daisy copperjackets just wont come out due to jamming in the mag. Releasing the jam by holding back the follower, and re-aligining to get the proper stack sequence by loosening the stack completely has so far only resulted in another jam. Dry or oiled, they still again always jam as an "out of sequence" (alternating, left-right-left-right) stack over and over. What am I doing wrong?

Old look n feel

Doesn't always use both air bottles, have to put 1 or 2 dimes in mag. At times terrible feeding no matter how you load.

I have had my MP 40 for a half year of so. Excellent shooter. Very real look and weight. Once you learn how, BB's load easily. Takes about 15 seconds. Never had a jamb yet. Fired about 1500 rounds so far. I usually get 4 to 5 magazines per double CO2 cartridges when they are at least at room temperature. Suggest using Umarex BB's. Get them in 1500 count bottles.

Very authentic. Like the weight. Sounds cool.

Not 430 ft per second. Barley shoots. Mag jams after every couple shots. Love the looks,but looks dont get the job done. Would return if thats possible.

Beware doesnt shoot like you would hope for.

From a rest, in semi-auto mode, I am able to consistently get groups of 5 BBs I can cover with a quarter at 15 yards. But the real fun is switching to full auto and mowing down an entire pyramid of 10 soda cans in one burst.

1. I needed a windage adjustment on the rear sight, but I substituted a piece of plastic sandwiched between the existing leaves. 2. I would have the CO2 cartridges pierce sooner. I have to tighten the wrench to the point I worry about stripping the threads on the plug. 3. Not necessary, but for my own convenience, I put a tick mark using white paint next to the slot in the mag for every 10 BBs remaining in the mag.

My eyes are too old for high-power competition anymore. I was using a BB gun in the backyard as a substitute for the range time I enjoyed so much in the past. But I continued to use the same techniques I used on the rifle range (I.E., 4-position shooting). This MP40 was more of a gag gift for my birthday. However, once I discovered the joys of full auto, family and friends were advised not to visit without all the empty soda cans they have in their house. We do recycle them (after we have fun!).

Functions very well. Have run 500 BBs thru it and so far flawless performance. Ja wol das maschinenpistole ist Grosse cool :-) I can get about 3.5 or 4 "full mags" of BBs thru it on the two CO2 cylinders the way I shoot it (a few rounds on semi-auto, but mostly short bursts on full auto). It's an official Hoot to Shoot. You have to use the "charging handle" to start the first round of a new mag. Favorite target is to annihilate a 1 gal milk jug full of water from about 20 feet away.

The sights were WAY off on my unit. By way off, I mean it was shooting 6 inches right from only 10 feet away from a target. Since the front and rear sights are non-adjustable, I ended up filing the notch on the die-cast rear sight to the left, then putting on a piece of black tape on the right side of the rear notch sight to make the notch the correct size. Now I am on-target. I thought about returning the gun, but I don't like the hassle of returning stuff and who knows, the replacement gun might have had the same problem. Once I got the sight adjusted, I'm happy with the accuracy, it's just a shame I had to tinker with it in order to hit a generous target from close range.

I wish the rear sight was adjustable left/right.

Would find a way to separate co2 carts to reduce quick freeze. Maybe battery heater for full expression of mag

It is a very nice weight. It feels like the real thing ! I liked the blowback feature and the foldable stock. It was surprisingly accurate as well !

Add some kind of little hook or stop to hold the magazine open while loading. I have big fingers, and it is difficult to hold it open manually and drop in 1 or 2 BBs at a time.

It did indeed jam early on, because I had it full of BBs. I counted the next time I filled it, and stopped at around 38. There has to be some kind of design flaw, as the mag holds 52 rounds, but there is no point to putting that many in if it is going to jam on you.

Great value, well made and great fun to shoot.

Two things I would change is to increase the co2 capacity of the gun and increase slightly the fps to 600.

I liked the weight of this BB gun. It is fun to shoot. My kids love to shoot it. I bought the gun for an investment, you probably won't be able to get this quality of a BB gun in the future. I can see this gun selling for $400 in the near future.

This gun shoots so fast, touch the trigger and it shoots several times. I am using this for snake control at my lake.

It is a beautiful gun up close and I guarantee you it will sell for much more in the future.

Absolutely fun to shoot. The blow back feature adds to the excitement when using the full auto mode. Shooting at 15 ft. gave me 1/4 to 1/2 inch clusters and a few spot on bulls eye results. The full auto gave me some wild results but most bbs landed pretty close together in a cluster. Absolutely destroys soda cans all lined up in a row. This gun makes you smile from ear to ear. So far I have not had any jam ups and have gone through 10 reloads.

Nothing really. Found it a little hard to get magazine lip open to place the co2. Loads bbs easily though.

Glad I bought it. Its authentic look adds to the curiosity of friends and family. Hard to explain but you are going to laugh like heck in full auto firing. Buy it you will love it. I have been using the regular steel bbs, nothing coated.
