    Things I liked:

Very accurate look and feel (except for the grip) Easy to load and to shoot. Action is great

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing so far. I would like the grips to be more realistic but that would put the price too high for the quality of gun.

    What others should know:

If you want a good shooting pistol that's fun to shoot and plink around with you won't be disappointed.

    Things I would have changed:

I haven't found anything that is amiss.

    What others should know:

Spare aged magazines are not available, but once inserted, who's to know?

    Things I liked:

What's not to like about this beauty? Nicely distressed, I like the dark brown grips, and especially the action on the gun. Great fun to shoot, and it fits the hand perfectly. Really, this is THE quintessential automatic (OK, OK, the 1911 is in there too...but not as pretty and comfy in the hand as this perfect design).

    Things I would have changed:

If there was a way to boost the FPS...you don't buy this pistol for the FPS value...just for the sheer fun of shooting it.

    What others should know:

Like the real thing, the action is tricky and will probably fail somewhere along the line after several thousand rounds...but if does, pretty much anything is easily repaired. For the money, you will be VERY pleased.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is just plain fun to shoot. The action is realistic, and will cycle as fast as you can pull the trigger. The slide locks open when the clip is empty. The finish on the metal parts makes the pistol look old. The pistol can be partially broken down, which is fun to play with. The pistol is packaged with a thick, fitted, Styrofoam liner and a heavy gauge cardboard box.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic grips feel cheap and flimsy. The magazine lock is a little dodgy. I need to use a firm slap to insure that the magazine is seated properly. It is possible to load more than one BB into the chamber. Be careful not to get a BB caught in the action. I am getting about 50 shots on one cartridge. 2 good clips worth and then drops rapidly in the middle of the third clip.

    What others should know:

My chronograph test results with Crosman .177 silver BB's in the paper tube. 21 shots, new CO2 cartridge. 74F. I shot the 21 rounds through the chronograph in about 30 seconds. The CO2 cartridge gets very cold. I lost about 3-6 fps on every shot, very linear. High 307 fps Low 236 Av 266 SD 21

    Things I liked:

Everything. This gun feels and looks absolutely realistic and shoots fast and straight. I've shot it three hundred and twenty five times and I've had no problems at all.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe wood handles would be nice.

    What others should know:

Try one. I'm sure you will like it as much as I do.

    Things I liked:

This Luger collector piece has excellent blow back, realistic, fully functional toggle action. It has great recoil. The Lugers weight, scale, and drop free full size magazine are similar to an original German Luger. The toggle action is fast, smooth, and it stays up/open on the last shot. This collector pistol is made of Zemak, pot metal construction; the internal air valve components are made of plastic. This is its weak point. Umarex’s Limited Edition has an applied simulated wear to its surface. The pistol arrives in a nice, special collector, cardboard box with excellent graphics. The pistol has an off white, WW II collector logo on its frame. This is rather unique and a nice touch.

    Things I would have changed:

There are three important changes. First it is a limited edition collector piece, but lacks a series number such as “2 out of 500” stamped on the pistol. In addition, it needs the reproduction of the German serial numbers in a correct manner. No white paint. The factory code AC and year should be stamped or molded on the top portion of the slide. The four digit serial number should be stamped on the lower front receiver under the barrel and on the upper left flat of the slide as found on actual Lugers These were left off. Second, the simulated wear is applied to low and high spots by buffing off the low gloss black paint without regard for an authentic wear pattern. The buffing exposes shiny pot metal patches making it appear unrealistic. The degree of aging varies with each pistol. Mine arrived heavily aged and needed a treatment to tone down and grey the exposed shiny pot metal patches in order to produce a more authentic patina. Except for the collector logo, the excessive white safety markings on the slide and under the barrel had to be made inconspicuous. In addition, the grip screws and brown grips had to be aged. Third, The firing pin, gas release pin/lever needs to be redesigned. A small pot metal lever pushes against the gas release button on the magazine. Each time the trigger is pulled it fires the release button on the mag. This mechanism and all of the small parts need to be lubricated or excessive wear to the plastic occurs allowing the lever to continually rest on the magazine CO2 release button. The pistol can go to full auto mode and empty the CO2 cartridge. The plastic parts in the slide’s air feed components can also crack causing problems.

    What others should know:

You get two magazines per C02 cylinder. If you get low or run out of CO2, the toggle action can/will lock up. If this happens the magazine may not come out. You need to lift up the toggle bolt and then press the mag release button to get the mag out. Check for a stuck BB in the barrel. Use Umarex BBs and CO2 cartridges. The pistol will arrive bone dry. IT must be lubricated—all working parts. Field strip the slide and remove the grips and use pell oil on all working parts and Teflon grease on the slide rails. For the first shot use an AGS Ultrair CO2 cylinder to lube the internal air system with silicone. The pistol is pot metal, not German steel, so if un-lubricated it will hammer itself to death. This is a great collector piece, but a fragile pistol as a shooter. Research of many reviews shows it has glitches in the firing mechanisms that cause it to go to full auto mode and/or dump a full CO2 cartridge. Best to test fire with four magazines then put it back in the box as a keeper. Mine worked OK out of the box. Parts are not available. The pistol fits well in the Non Indian made reproduction holster that has the reproduced German markings on the rear: PO8 on the right side and its maker, date, dirty bird, and WA code in the center of the straps. A great heavy leather holster. It sells on ebay $25-38

    Things I liked:

I have the standard Umarex Legends Blowback version so this probably works just as excellently. The battle wear marks look realistic enough.

    Things I would have changed:

If the objective is to simulate a WW II veteran replica, then it shouldn't have markings saying it is WW II. More realistic markings, battle scars, scratches as well as simulated dents and gouges. You could also add simulated presentation inscriptions stating the name of the owner of the gun say like General Rommel. This could have been a pistol he lost in the Libyan desert!

    What others should know:

Because the WW II text markings make it look unauthentic, you are not really getting full value for your money.

    Things I liked:

looks and feels great!! the ability to field strip is a major plus( and ill tell you why in a sec)

    Things I would have changed:

well the gun jams like no nothing else straight out of the box. i dont know if its the quality of the manufacture or the extra work on the paint job for the limited edition thats causing problems. the extra painting and the buffing may contribute to tolerances being changed. maybe take it easy on the antiquing effects?

    What others should know:

that said, my magazine clip keep falling out or not wanting to engage. i had to slap it hard for it to engage. after several times dropping the magazine out and putting it back in, it seems to stay engaged more. the gun jams. every third shot is a jam. sometime two bbs would be stuck at the breach and id have to use a cleaning rod to push it back out. sometimes a shot would loosen the bb and itll just roll around inside the gun. thats when the field stripping comes in handy. id take it down and find the loose bb and put the gun back together and try again. in the end i decided to put a few drops of oil in the magazine to allow the bbs to flow more freely and allow the follower to push against the bbs with less resistance. that seems to do the trick. ive been able to go through 2 magazine loads of bbs without a jam. oh and yes it eats up co2. and when co2 is low itll jam as well because it cant push the bb through adequately.
