    Things I liked:

Nothing. First pellet I loaded fell right out the end of the barrel (have tried lots of different pellets and have never had that happen before)... the next was extremely tight... no further testing neccessary.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better consistency / quality control

    Things I liked:

they fire faster than lead and hit harder than lead. these are the only hunting pellet I have ever used that actually worked for me in my ruger air hawk.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd like to see more per pack. I hate running out

    What others should know:

These are very sucessful hunting pellets. I make jewelry. One of the things I do is gold plating. Don't worry about how much gold you are sending down range. it's a minimal amount. the coating is shinner than 1/10th a human hair. It's enough to make the pellet slip through the air better.

    Things I liked:

Amazing penetration, leaves your barrel much cleaner than lead, they break the sound barrier in my gun.

    Things I would have changed:

75ct or so for the price, find a way to eliminate the overmold on the sides.

    What others should know:

I see a lot of reviews below me that have a problem with the groups you get with these pellets, I would just like to say that these pellets are not meant to be paper punchers. Accuracy in my Gamo whisper is fairly decent, i am able to get 3 inch groups at 25 yards. These pellets give a new definition to one shot one kill. Absolutley devastating to small game.

    Things I liked:

I like the added spd, and the cleaner shooting pellet...

    Things I would have changed:

Make them available in larger quantities.

    What others should know:

I'm using the ".22 cal" Raptor pellets at 50 ft with results as good as 16 gr lead pellets.

    Things I liked:

I like how they shoot, group, over the heavier pellets. I also liked how I could shoot into wood and dig them out to reshoot them again. At least twice, after that they arent good.

    Things I would have changed:

The price is way too much to shoot around and waste. I don't want to shoot them, because of waste.

    What others should know:

There isn't enough of a big change to shooting something over a lead pellet.

    Things I liked:

It was really hard to find anything to say positive about these pellets. They did shoot faster but the reduced weight would give you that anyway.

    Things I would have changed:

Come on Gamo they can't cost that much to mass produce! Needs to be more in the pkg. for this $!!!

    What others should know:

Didn't seem to shoot that much better or more accurate. Just too many much cheaper and more accurate pellets out there, for a much better price. I tried these in 4 different airguns brands, of which one was an underlever, 2 were breakbarrels, and one Air Arms S410 E, none shot these pellets very impressively. Sorry Gamo!!

    Things I liked:

Penetration and speed. Test fired this round with the new Gamo Whisper - Air Venturi Ram Air Gas Spring and chronographed at 975FPS (average on 20 rounds) This pellet had incredible penetration. It blasted the back out of 3/4" plywood with no noticable distortion to the dome but the rear of the round collapsed in 17 of them. The FPS increase is about 250 over most standard lead rounds.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the darn thing fly correctly. The accuracy is garbadge. I fired 20 rounds and got 6-7" groupings at 25 yards; this round is all over the place. The Crossman Preimier hollow pont fired though the same gun puts consistant groups in at 1" but the chrono drops down to 723 FPS. I'll take accuracy over speed any day.

    What others should know:

If Gammo can dial in these rounds for tighter groups in their top of the line guns I'd gladly spend the extra $$ for the incredible penetration and velocity increase over standard lead.

    Things I liked:

    Faster then anything out there.

    Things I would have changed:

not meant for killing anything do to accuracy and they are def not QC everyone has a little bit of overhang on the back of the pellet.

    What others should know:

Do not buy a lot of them they are fun for about the first 10 rounds after that its a joke trying to hit something.

    Things I liked:

    Clean to shoot, very fast

    Things I would have changed:

very pricey, 10 k. gold plate most likely would shoot as well with less cost. But then you could not brag about shooting 18k. gold pellets.........

    What others should know:

Do not seem to group as well as advertised, you would be better off buying beeman Silver arrow just as good penatration closer groups and a fraction of the cost.

    Things I liked:

these pellets are fast, good penetration, and for some reason they are very accurate in my gun they are the top pellets, and the 18 karat gold, seriously, doesnt boost up the price that much, and makes them go a lot faster

    Things I would have changed:

more for less and there are a lot of seems and excess mold on the skirts..i shot a batch of ones that i didnt change and they shot ok groups, but take a pocket knife and cutt off the extra mold on the skirt and you get really good grouping

    What others should know:

these pellets are picky with certain guns...just buy one pack and if there accurate just get more..and accuracy doesnt matter that much with these because they go so fast you can hit a squirell anywhere and get a one shot one kill

    Things I liked:

    Clean and consistant shaped pellet

    Things I would have changed:

Way too pricey for what it does. Maybe give the option for a quantity discount.

    What others should know:

Bought 100 pellets, shot 100 pellets. The velocity increased versus cheaper pellets. I didn't see that much of grouping difference versus cheaper pellets I use. I did not compare grouping at greater distances. Maybe the difference can be seen there.

    Things I liked:

That I did not buy a lot of these

    Things I would have changed:

    Pretty much everything

    What others should know:

I think people like the concept of this better then the round itself. The groups are horrible. The added speed vs the much lower weight is not a fair trade. If you want to be trendy then go ahead and get these. If you want to hit what you aim at, then stick with lead. I would not be suprised if these are found to cause barrel damage in the upcoming years.

    Things I liked:

Nothing really. My RWS 54 shot 3.5 inch groups at 20 yards with these pellets in .22 Cal. (the group was probably bigger, because 3 out of 10 missed the target backing completely. Shooting at targets stuck to a 3/4 inch piece of plywood, these pellets went in about 1/2 inch. Crosman Premiers shot a group of less than 1/4 inch and every pellet completely penetrated the 3/4 plywood. The Raptor pellets were obviously much faster than the lead pellets, but lost a lot of energy vs. the Premiers at only 20 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change this into a Crosman Premier, add 200 pellets to the package and cut the price in half. Seriously, these are overpriced gimmicky junk.

    What others should know:

I have now owned three different Gamo air rifles and they were all very good value for the money and the CFX was extremely accurate. I have nothing against Gamo, but these pellets are not worth paying for.

    Things I liked:

This is a secondary review after some field trial's. If any of you pack along a .22 Co2 pistol on your hunt's as a secondary weapon, then these are the pellet's you should have it loaded with. On a recent hunt for Pheasant, and Partridge, I came across a nice sized Partridge15 yds away, I had taken a shot and missed with the Crosman 2289G that I was toting, and instead of taking a chance on losing the oppurtunity for a second shot on the re-load, I remembered my Daisy 622X(Loaded with a fresh cart, and 6 Golden Gamo Raptor PBA's) in my ruck, The Partridge(now 20 yds away) dropped after 2 quick shot's to the body.

    Things I would have changed:

Other than lowering the Price a little, Absolutely nothing.

    What others should know:

Guy's, If you like hunting with your a/g's then this is the round for you, As well as being environmentaly friendly, They are wickedly awesome in the accuracy, and range dept,. These are not the same as the .177 version, So if you tried the .177 Raptor's and were turned off by the amount of "Flier's" you encountered. These round's are well worth a second try, and if any 1 of the 50 round's you get in a package bring's you a nice Game Bird, or some Rabbit for the dinner table, Then the cost will be well worth it. Cheer's, and Good Huntin', Andy.

The size and shape is flawless, shoot super fast, acurate at reasonable range, much better then the 177 cal., but also slow down rapidly do to the light weight. They are just to light for my high powered rifles

    Things I would have changed:

They are way beyond reason on the price for what they will do and the number of pellets you get

    What others should know:

These would work great in a low powered gun , it would help boost the fps. For me i will stick with the heavy pellets , they have more wallop on impact

Excellent Round!, This is what you need when you go hunting. Unlike the .177 round, Not as many flier's.

    Things I would have changed:

The price is high, and I paid less than the average price.

    What others should know:

The PBA round has gotten a bad rep due to it's unaccurate tendencies, Everyone's heard of matching your ammo to the gun,This is a case of matching the gun to the ammo.In other word's, Don't give the ammo a bad rep because your gun doesn't like it,,Get a better gun!. Cheer's, Andy.

Excellent fit for my Crosman 2240.All pellets uniform/consistant.Light weight took my pistol from 460fps to almost 600fps.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing.except price could be more pellets for the money.

    What others should know:

Very fast pellet. As mentioned in my Crosman 2240 bolt single shot, fit perfect /no jamming. This pellet didnt mushroom but goes through targets as licence plates, thin plexi glass, coffee cans, etc. And out of the 2240 the pellet had no damage to nose ,just on skirt.Carefull and use a good pellet trap or back stop,it will go through initial target and has tendency to richochett.Very good pellet for the money.

    Things I liked:

Enhanced speed, penetration. I like the gold plating, it's soft like lead, so it grips the rifling well and causes it to be spot on accurate. I shot these from a .22 cal. Chinese made underlevel rifle that shoots @ 900 fps with lead. With these I shot thru my 3/4 inch backstop and kept on going. Had to put a steel plate on the back to stop the little buggers.

    Things I would have changed:

More for the money or less money for what you get

    What others should know:

It never hurts to add a little of your favorite pellet lube to the tube and shake it a bit. Be careful where you shoot! These are lethal pellets not to be taken lightly. You can seriously hurt someone if you don't check out behind your target. Be aware they will ricochet if shot from a powerful gun.
