Shot 2 tree rats at 10 yards with my RWS 34 Pro compact........sent them to the after world, that will teach you to chew a whole in my roof!!!!!
Things I would have changed:nothing
What others should know:I wonder how they compare to Predator Polymags?

These things cause major destruction! They're like penetrating hollow points! They balloon up and make a HUGE cavity in stuff, larger than Beeman Crow Magnums.
Things I would have changed:Make 'em heavier.
What others should know:They're long... 0.337"

These are super accurate. Shot a baseball off the top of a 2 qt. juice bottle at around 50 yards with my Remington Vantage 1200. These are probably great for hunting though I haven't tried.
Things I would have changed:Maybe another 50 per tin for the same price. Only found one without a point which worked as a fairly accurate hollow point.
What others should know:The polymer tip is very hard. The tip went through a phonebook and stuck into the plywood backstop with no damage to it.

none of the ones i got have a mold line on the sides, cheaper than polymags, insanely accurate out of my big cat
Things I would have changed:might as well go to 200 in a tin.
What others should know:if you're considering polymags you should try these first since they are both almost exactly alike. just different body shapes and different tip designs. if you do a search for, "expanding pellet gamo red fire" you can find a nice review of their expansion capabilities. they perform just the same as polymags from the looks of things so these are probably going to be my hunting pellet from now on

They are less expensive than the Predator pellets.
Things I would have changed:Most of the pellets have a mold line down the side. Also the tips aren't near as resilient as the tips for the Predators. They also feel like they are made of a harder material, but that is hard to detect.
What others should know:They still shoot well enough at the normal game shooting ranges. I wouldn't want to shoot much past 30 yards with them as I think the quality control would start to affect them.

Polymer tip is stronger than I imagined. Very accurate and penetrates game very well. Quality control is exceptionally good.
Things I would have changed:Why not round off to 200 for the same price.
What others should know:This is an excellent hunting pellet to be used with a single shot rifle or pistol. I wouldn't recommend trying to use them in a repeater, as they are substantially long and won't likely fit into magazine..

hard hitting, very tight groups, just got them and i love them and i am not a huge fan of of gamo pellets
Things I would have changed:how bout 50 more in the tin for the same price
What others should know:hit a cottontail and it never took another step, my Beeman shoots at about 800fps

These appear to be very well made pellets. Essentially no flashing or scrap bits of lead in the tin and nice crisp seam lines in the sides. They expand to a complete mushroom when fired into water from a 12 FPE rifle. The expansion really seems to start (again, in water) at impact speeds above 700 FPS. Below that, there is minimal expansion. Accuracy was decent, on par with typical hunting pellets but a bit less than a match grade dome or wadcutter in the rifles I tested.
Things I would have changed:For what they are, they are pretty good. They are rather expensive at more or less 5 cents a pellet. The price per tin isn't all that different from normal pellets, but there's only 150 pellets in a tin rather than the typical 500.
What others should know:They seem to be pretty close to a copy of the JSB Predator pellet. The Predator has a point with a straight tail filling the HP cavity. These pellets have a double ended cone in the cavity. The point at the front is a mirror image of the point at the back of the tip. The base cavity looks very similar to the base cavities used in the Crosman pellet lineup. I went so far as to section a Gamo Red Fire and a series of Crosman pellets and the base cavity looks identical. I wonder if Gamo bought the same swaging machines that Crosman did so many years ago when they switched from the old "flying ashcan" style pellet to the new design.

Accurate. These are the most accurate pellet the I have fired through my Gamo Viper. For me just as accurate as the JSB Predator (although it looks like gamo is just copying JSB). These have transformed my rifle into a deadly small game / varmit sniper.
Things I would have changed:Put more in a can especially for the money they charge for these.
What others should know:These pellets hit hard. Just tried them out at 10 to 40 yards and they hold tight. They also seem to hit very hard. I have only shot paper and a 12 Oz plastic bottle at 40 yards but they make a very solid deep sound when they hit. ( unlike the CP lites I was also shooting) I have not shot any pest yet with these yet since this is my first day with them, but I can only imagine that they will devistate small varmits. With these pellets along with a GRT III trigger and a new Center Point mill dot scope my Gamo Viper is a truly effective sniper ( up to 50 yards). I shot 3 rested 5 shot groups that could be covered with a quarter at 30 yards. Can't wait to try these out on my unwelcome guests..The Red Fire will be my new GO TO pellet after todays testing..

the accuracy of these are unbelievable! my gamo whisper deluxe shoots these things like they were made for the thing! i wouldnt get the polymags because these are cheaper and just as good, or even better!
Things I would have changed:not one thing
What others should know:i have seen a few mold lines, but i dont see a difference in accuracy
