This pellets shot very well in my Colt 1911 government pistol. They are clean and you never touch the Lead core

little residue and accurate.one of my gamo guns couldnt hit the broad side of a barn with many pellets tried.tried different scopes also and scope stop.after trying these pattern closed up greatly.this is all it shoots now.

This H&N Barracuda s great pellet! The uniformity of the pellets is excellent. My Crosman Quest shoots very accurately with these pellets--1-inch groups at 15 yards. The copper coating seems to give the pellet increased penetration. In addition, the copper coating keeps your fingers dust-free while loading the pellets. The Barracuda fits snugly into my Crosman Quest 1000 breech. In short, the H&N pellets are beautiful pellets with the power to blow through tin cans or hunt small game. I plan to continue purchasing the H&N Barracudas.

What others should know:I tested the Barracuda pellet in a lower-powered airgun (500 to 600 fps.). The results clearly displayed less penetrating ability. It seems that the 10.9-grain pellet is too heavy for low- or even medium-powered airguns. I suspect that the Barracuda pellets probably perform best in airguns shooting over 800 fps. Also, athough domed, the nose of the pellet has a more pronounced point or peak than the pictures suggest--this provides better penetration for hunting.

Accuracy and penetration are great. Nice and heavy. Noticed it produced a much larger entry and exit point in targets than similar pellets. Could be the harder copper plating?

pellets are very uniform and found there to be less fliers than other brands my cfx with gasram is as consistantly accurate as it is going to get when shoting these

What others should know:i shot 5 , 5 shot groups using h&n baracudas , beeman kodiak double gold , jsb exact heavys ,and crossman premier ultra mags 10.5 all did well but there was an obvious consistancy with the h&n and beemans that far passed the others allowing me to fine tune my scope much easier, the copper coatings must ride the riflings much better than pure lead.
