H&N Excite Hollow, .177 Reviews

These were cheap and I just bought these to break in a new springer and don't plan on using them for anything else.

If you are using these to break in new rifles or just general plinking these will do other than that I'm not to sure.

Excellent shape and form. These shoot reliably in both my Weihrauchs and in my Crosman Nitro.

These are solid, lighter pellets. Though priced similarly to more well-known pellets, these H&N Excites provide a lighter format for pistols or rifles that don't need heavier pellets. It is a little harder to load due to the wide HP rim, but the pellets are a tight fit (and that's good for my guns).

These are excellent pellets. I have not come across a single deformed skirt yet and the shape of the head is very consistent across. Great accuracy, punch and penetration. Beeman P1 .177 cal.

Seems like a good pellet weight for an air pistol. Previous 9.8 grain Beeman pellets were not up to par.

I really like this pellet in any rifle I try it in. I now have 14 air rifles and this pellet shoots pretty darn good in all of them, and in all calibers from .177 to the .25 cal. It's a nice pellet to practice with and also carries out quite far as compared to any other hollow point pellet.

I can't think of any thing I would change with this pellet. I really like the screw on can that it comes in.

This is a slightly less heavy pellet to shoot and every shooter should try these in your rifle or pistol and see how they group. You will like them, I'm sure.

This pellet is the most accurate pellet. I have a .177 Crossman Raven and it loves this pellet. Believe it or not i can do 1/8" groups at 25 yards and 1/2" groups at 50 yards. I'll have some that will not group that tight all the time because i am not a machine. But the gun and pellet can do it. Don't shoot into wind though it will destabilise any pellet. Shoot with the wind or at an angle to it just not from the front. Best if you wait for wind to stop. Nevertheless awesome pellet.

If you have a small Springer this this the pellet for you.
Haven't chrony this pellet but the crossma ps do 590 avg. And my raven has and deviation of less than 5 fps. I took apart and polished the trigger. Defineately ask your dad to do this. You'll have to decompress spring to uninstall and install. Easy to do with plywood, wood screws, plumber flat metal strip with holes in it. Also you'll need a pipe clamp. With these items you can create a decompress device to let the spring pressure out of the gun to get to the trigger. To keep gun from rolling use one of the screws that goto to the forward stock to go thru the metal plumbers strap and then in the gun tube. make a hole in the pipe also to keep it from rolling. once you get it all strapped down let the pressure out is a snap.

maybe i got a bad batch...two rds right on...then a 5 inch flier. shooting @ 14yds... qual control problem? they did not work in my rem npss

rounds seem to be made consistent, lighter weight gives more fps

Didn't shoot very accurately for me, they do ok though. Good enough to group in a 2 inch pattern at 30 yards, not the accuracy that I am looking for but they are pretty good.

Great shooting pellet out of my Gamo Tactical Elite and also out of my Crossman target pistol!

Screw top tins would be nice.

everything! very accurate in my 350mag even though it breaks sound berreier still stays accurate

nothing! compared to the rws hollow point this pellet out performed the rws hands down

trust me don't waste your time with other competers pyrimid air is the airgun king! you won't find better or more knowleged tects than they have. so glad

Very accurate in my RWS 350 Magnum. Much more accurate than any of the RWS pellets I've tried.

With my Crosman 2100; love em. Kompare the akkuracy to their Barakuda and Krow Magnum.

I am shooting these out of my Gamo Whisper .177cal rifle, and am quite pleased with these pellets! Consistent groupings, very accurate, excellent stopping power.

The tin they come in could be a screw top. Other than that, nothing.

I am planning on using these pellets exclusively for small game.

These a very Accurate pellet, w/ stringent quality/quality control. Among the many other pellet's with similar weight/design, these consistantly come out on top.
