Things I liked:

Nothing.

Things I would have changed:

They aren't accurate in any of my guns, from magnum springers to a Condor.

What others should know:

If you want a really heavy pellet, try the JSB Monster.

    Things I liked:

Hits like a hammer. Bam! Bushy-tailed tree rats drop immediately.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe make a teflon coated version.

    What others should know:

Groups tend to be wider than expected, but still good for hunting.

    Things I liked:

I took a 1400fps,rifle break barrel ,put a very small amount of lube grease on the head of the piledriver pellet and was astonished at the results. There for PCP rifles, which is not what your supposed to do.

    Things I would have changed:

Price is a little steep, but for the results alright.

    What others should know:

To continue my experiment if you turn the pellet around do you get a hollow point effect.

    Things I liked:

I love these pellets. I have a power wire covered with pigeons that is 105 yards from the shooting bench in my attic. I've got a .177 Hammerli 850 on regulated 1800psi HPA that puts these pellets right where I want them. With the 16.2 gr JSB beast diablo even the slightest breeze would put them off by 12 inches at that range. Not these flying lead anvils. I'm almost always aiming at feathers when I pull the trigger and even in a steady breeze I'm only holding 2 inches to the side at most. I cant say how tight they group just that I can center-punch a pigeon at 105 yards nearly 100% of the time and for me that's money well spent.

The way it hits the target , the sound it makes . You know you put a large chunk of lead down range .

    Things I would have changed:

    None

    What others should know:

Pellet fits tight in the barrel .

    Heavy, good shape.

    What others should know:

Takes a little getting used to to dial in the weight but this is a hard-hitting pellet and shoots very well.

Vary hard hitting. Fairly accurate out of my Crossman MTR77NP.

    Things I would have changed:

A few more pellets for the money.

    What others should know:

These are supposed to be only for PCP airguns but they shoot just fine out of my Crossman MTR77NP rifle. Terminal effect is very good on a variety of targets from tin cans to crows.

    Things I liked:

    Weight

    Things I would have changed:

Make pellets in the same tin all the same shape.

    What others should know:

I received a tin of these pellets and was rather disappointed in the consistency of the size and shape of them. I submitted a picture to show the differences but I am not sure if I can include it with the review ... Anyway, what I noticed about these pellets was the considerable variance in the size of the tail on the bottom. Some were just as pictured on this site, most had some amount of extra material coming off of the bottom. Many had quite a lot of extra material at the bottom. Think of the material left over on a plastic model pieces if you don't cut it away, you will get the idea. This extra material at the bottom of the pellet, along with some slightly flattened heads are the likely cause of my 2+" groups at 40 yards...

    Things I liked:

That I had no problem cycling them in my Rotek mags. Good penetration, too.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing. They're nice and uniform.

    What others should know:

In my Rotek they shoot one mil low and half a mil left. I tried them in a springer and they flew spitball slow! Definitely made for a pcp.

    Knockdown

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

Even though these are for PCP only, I wanted to try a heavy pellet in my Titan Nitro. At 30 yards I was getting a 4" group with 12 shots propped on the mirror of my truck. Decided to try them backwards with the dome looking backwards. Actually got about a 2" group that way??? I get a 1" measured group shooting the same way with my favorite pellets which happen to be Beeman Kodiak 10.65 gr . Tried these Piledrivers at 60 yards and had to hold over 7 mil dots to get close to the bullseye. I could actually watch the pellets arcing toward the target. Tried them forward and backward and the trajectory was about the same even though it sounded like they hit a lot quicker when loaded dome forward. These really hit hard if you want to try them in your springer or nitro for close shots on something you want to knock down with a wallop. They were very consistent in size and when I pushed them in backwards I could push lightly against the dome to seat them with my finger.

    Things I liked:

Everything. They fit in my Marauder. They look cool. Accurate, accurate, accurate. At 30 yards they don't budge in the wind. These little black birds look like they got hit by a bus when they get hit. It's hilarious! They spin my spinners, push around my buddies pellet trap. All around 20$ of fun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing? Maybe a wad cutter or hollow point version?

    What others should know:

These work in Marauder magazine. My buddy shoots them out of his Whisper Fusion. I think it might not be good for his piston? But, whatever. These things cost 20$ for a reason. Well worth it in my book.

    Things I liked:

Nice boat tail shape, heavy mass and accurate and consistent.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

Bought the H&N Piledrivers to shoot in my Stoeger X50.(1535 fps best chrony reading and farthest shot made 130 yards with ultra lights) Always looking for a pellet to get the biggest punch on impact and this is definitely the top pick. H&N states that these are for PCP only but my Stoeger X50 has no problems shooting them out. It took six shots to get the gun sighted in and they stayed consistent the rest of the time. I got the tightest grouping with the Piledriver then with any other pellet I've tried. The Piledriver pellets are longer then your average pellet and have a perfect fit in the barrel when inserted into the gun and shot smoothly through with no problems. Due to the fact that it is a 21gr pellet definitely slowed the speed down to an average of 537.15 fps at 13.45 ftlb but the mass makes up for it on impact and adds to the accuracy. These are great for just target shooting and for small game hunting. My next step is to see how far out they will accurately go.

    Things I liked:

massive weight and boat tail for maximum B.C. energy loss is very minimal at longer ranges

    Things I would have changed:

    price could be lower

    What others should know:

PCP only or pump rifles, to heavy for gas ram and spring piston rifles, you can get the most energy out of your daisy 880 with these, round nose facing down the barrel is the correct way to load, hollow part is to catch air since its a boat tail, this pellet is more of a bullet because of its design, even though slow in velocity dont be fooled, this pellet retains a lot of that speed and energy down range and hits very hard, use in a daisy 880 its like a boost of power for your 25 yard shots, pellet can really reach out long distances, it depends on your scope setting also

Held a very tight grouping using the Air Force Condor at 25, 50, and 75 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

    500 ct container

    What others should know:

Some pellets require a metallic push into the barrel.

    Things I liked:

These actually fired well in my RWS48 (0.177) springer. I have not had a chance to test at range, but accurate at short indoor range, and hit like a runaway bus. Used an empty paint can as a target at 20' or so, but had to put a sheet of 16gage steel inside to keep it from going thru everything...deformed pellet was 1/4 length and double the diameter after impacting the steel.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a deeper hollow point for better expansion and wound channel.

    What others should know:

They are listed for PCPs only...I took a chance and think they will work well in my Magnum Springer...YMMV...I think barrel ID and twist rate will have to match the pellet. The 4.46 dia goes in tight, but can be pushed in with the pad of the finger, no tool necessary.

PCP Rifles only! I ordered these from Pyramyd Air's New Products link, but did not know some .177 cal. pellets were made for PCP rifles only. These are. Pyramyd Air does list this fact on the specifications tab, but I did not notice. I do not own a PCP rifle, therefore I am not reviewing the pellet's performance, rather I am warning buyers of the fact that these are PCP rifle only pellets.
