More per tin

What others should know:

I used the .217 in my gun.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate. They maintain the energy noticably farther downrange, verified by the little amount of holdover required. Plus they leave the barrel with more energy than the pellets. I hadn't planned to, but now will use the Avenger dedicated to only these slugs.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I recommend airgunners try em, they are a valuable slug.

    Things I liked:

Devastating on medium game, great at punching holes in racoons head's at 120 yrds and under. (Longest distance I can shoot on my property) This is for the .217 21gn but the 23gn is just as accurate in my pcp at 900fps... With power to spare! Kalibrgun Argus 60 w/moderator dead quite. If you own one definitely give these a try, I thought the 18.13 jbs were accurate in my gun and they are for pellets but they don't even come close to the accuracy of these slugs... Even in an 8mph cross wind their lasers!! Great job H&N

    Things I would have changed:

Hey H&N Alot of us airgunners are huge fans of your products so please be a fan of us too and cut us some slack and give us a little more maybe 50 or 100..per tin. Would be great...

    What others should know:

These slugs are great, uniformed shape and size an the factory lube is nice...no fouling in my barrel at all.

    Things I liked:

This is the most accurate, consistent projectile I have found for the Avenger Bull Pup. Dime sized groups at 50 yards, better than any pellet I have found. Pushing at 890 FPS

    Things I would have changed:

Bigger tin, 500 count would be nice

go from pony express to modern transportation methods

    Things I liked:

    Diana 350 Magnum .22: .217 size - 21 grains - 20 yards - 10mm group size ( shooting as good as pellets ) - 5 shots group - standing off hand using scope - 710 fps from the muzzle

    Things I would have changed:

250ct at least for the same price

    What others should know:

tried .217 and .218, both gave me same results but .218 fit too tight and got lower speed with it at same weight.

    Things I liked:

I bought the 21 grain slugs last month to try if they worked in my 22 cal hatsan striker and quite frankly they were quite good even in a mid power break barrel. Would get about 635fps on average of 5 shots and decent 1 inch group at 15m with open sights. More effective than typical 14 grain pointed pellets at taking out pigeons and doves, dump a lot of energy and drop them dead.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really, they work just fine even in a mid power break barrel so they will be even better in a magnum break barrel and definitely on pcp air guns.

    What others should know:

    Good ammo, that's it.

    Things I liked:

These turned out to be very accurate in my 34fpe Daystate MCT. I have a group shot at 100 yds where 4 of 5 shoots were under 1/2 inch. One pulled shot opened up the group to 1 inch. These consistently shoot 1.5 inches or less at 100 yds.

    Things I would have changed:

    Cheaper would be better

    What others should know:

When you open the tin they don't have the nice shiny, polished look of some of the other slugs, but if your rifle likes them you should be very happy with the results

    Things I liked:

Good uniformity, great when it actually shot from my Dreamline .22

    Things I would have changed:

Too short and soft for the Dreamline and it's magazine

    What others should know:

If you have an FX, these *will* jam in the breech. I think they're to short and have a chance to get a little sideways and require *way* too much pressure to seat and fire. BUT. They are accurate, even when jammed in to the breech, slightly better than the FX Hybrids which don't jam.

    Things I liked:

    accurate slug

    Things I would have changed:

widen the base so it wont slide thru the sumatra mags

    What others should know:

For me personally, the 21 grains shoots best, but that's my opinion based on shooting them out of my FX Crown, avenger, sumatra, and Neutron star. Good knock down power, and pass through.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing, although they are pricey

    What others should know:

If there were such a thing as match grade pellets, these would be it. They are very good, even at long distances they maintain their energy on impact.

    Things I liked:

Got these since max performance in my springer is @18 to 25 grains @29 ftlbs! Baracuda are good for allaround shooting. These are faster in my gun.

    Things I would have changed:

    They are for pcp guns

    What others should know:

I get excellent accuracy at 10 meters with these and very good velocity in mach 12.5 beeman springer.
I just shot 50 to get the feel of them. May sub for Crow Mags at medium range in my load list.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not sure why but they do not group well for me at 20 yards .group the size of my fist at 850fps. My gun lives the hybrid slugs but they get to be expensive.

    What others should know:

Check if they group well before buying more than one tin.

VERY accurate out of my FX Impact 600mm barrel standard pellet liner at 900fps ish, groups were under 1/2" at 50 yards. Im impressed so far they shoot awesome and very well made and pre-lubed and absolutely devastating on racoons and birds, good expansion with a good pop when hitting your target.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really, although being offered in a 500 count tin would be nice.

    What others should know:

Nothing grab a tin I dont believe anyone would be dissapointed.

    Things I liked:

Ive recently purchased these slugs in 21, 23, and 25 grain.( 217 dia ) . They all appear to be very well made, with nice rounded finish around the hollow tip, and smooth down the sides. so far very accurate out of my Daystate Wolverine HP, out to 50 yards, I haven't tested beyond that distance as of yet.

    Things I would have changed:

Price and quantity are okay, but wish the hollow point was a deeper .

    What others should know:

My Daystate Wolverine HP has a polygonal barrel, not a slug liner, and they all shot well out of it.( as do FX and Nielson Slugs ) Don't expect all pellets/slugs to shoot well out of every gun. Individual testing should be done to find out what shoots good out of your particular gun

Accuracy is good in my Liberty. It sill like H&N 21.14 best. My Mrod not so much.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at the present time.

    What others should know:

Try the 217 & 218 to see which one your PCP likes the best.
