On piston airgun piston seals, parachute seals swell to seal when fired. If your airgun model uses a parachute seal, there is no substitute style seal that will work. You can tell from a picture of the seal.

I ordered this part and a rear piston seal for a Beeman 850/RWS Diana 6 air pistol that was was made in West Germany back in the 70's. The PyramydAir customer service and technical staff were very helpful. Also the product schematic was also invaluable. It shoots great now. Now if only the shooter could live up to its potential.

The old seals had almost completely deteriorated. So, little bits and pieces of material had to be cleaned out of the piston cylinder.
