This 6-shooter is an authentic replica of the famous Schofield No. 3 designed by Army Ordnance officer, Major George W. Schofield of the 10th Cavalry.
The U.S. Army ordered thousands of the Schofield No. 3, and many were used by the 4th Cavalry in the Geronimo campaign and by the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry. The revolver was popular among horse soldiers because of its top-break, rapid ejection system.
This legendary gun features the same top-break design and will bring you hours of plinking fun.

I have the silver one, I bought this one as a Christmas present for my son. He will tell me what he likes. I love mine.
Things I Would Have ChangedThat Darn nprinting! Not so bad on the silver one but annoying to look at with the darker finishes.

This is a nice target and plinking pistol. It is easy to reload and the stock barrel makes it usable with, pellets darts and BBs. It is easy to swap between barrels and quick to reload. The nice weight makes it a very steady shooter. This is really nice for ambidextrous one hand or two hand shooting.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt is a little under-powered for the design. another couple hundred FPS would be helpful in improvimg the fewl and function. A kit that comes with the optional rifled barrel included would be nice. It would be nice to have a .25 barrel and cartridges available, to match my rifle, so I only need one size pellet when I am shooting them.
What Others Should KnowIf you shoot this outside, a holster and lots of cartidges are helpfull, a nice drop pouch goes a long way to keeping track of your cartidege while doing quick changes.
