Caldwell E Max Low Profile Electronic Hearing Protection

I have a pair and have been using them everytime I go to the range or Hunting and its the same pair for 8yrs

I purchased these in 2022. I have used them maybe 6 times. I pulled them out when I was at the range (04/2024) and the part that connects the cup to the head assembly broke. To say I was very disappointed is an understatement. Another brand that I paid less for lasted me about 10 years. Before they broke, they worked very well and I had zero complaints.
Caldwell is supposed to be a quality name.
This is a faulty design. Metal or reenforced plastic should have been used.

Lost Plastic Battery Cover to my electronic headset. Called "customer support" and discovered they don't have replacement parts. Yes, I'm sure it's difficult to carry a tiny, cheap piece of plastic. Solution......Buy a new set.

Bought these last year, firstly one earmuff stopped working now nothing works. Looks like the cable is broken where it comes out of the earmuffs

I loved my old set which was the older model but after many years of use they didn't work as well. I bought a new set which is the newer model and they do not shut off when I shoot.

Have been using these for awhile now, they are ok for an outdoor range but to use the at an ondoor range you need to use ear buds with them.. i need a set that is alot better than this for indoor range use...

Went shooting this weekend with a group of friends. They couldn't beleive how great these worked. One friend hopped onto his phone and ordered two pair to replace the traditional hearing protection that he had.

I got these at the advice of a friend and just finished using them for my 3rd deer season. I put in a fresh set of batteries each year and they work great, all day long. For that performance, you can’t beat the price!

Got these as a present. The first time I actually went to use them they wouldn't power up using new batteries. I had them for a few months prior to using them the first time.

5 range sessions later, the "amplified" hearing part went out... Tried multiple batteries. No dice. I would not recommend them. They get 1 star because even as "hearing protection" they're less than a standard part of hearing muffs for MUCH less.
