Colt SAA45 Grips - Matte Wood (original wood color)

These grips are great and give a added touch to my peacemaker and are easy to install .

The service is fast but I found the shipping somewhat high and with the exchange it cost me quite a bit. I am from Canada. I will probably will order items in the future that are not available in Canada.

These grips are excellent, and definitely enhance the appearance of the Umarex Colt .45 revolvers. I have a revolver with the blue finish and white (imitation ivory) grips. The wood color grips really look nice with the blue finish. The fit is excellent and the grips are a good value for the money. It's like getting a new gun for under $40.00.

Care must be taken when changing the grips. The left grip simply clips into place. (This is the grip you remove when you want to install a CO2 cylinder) The right grip is held in place by two very small screws, which come in the package with the grips. Extreme care must be taken when inserting the screws for they are easy to lose and hard to find. I would have preferred an easier system. (The white grips used a single longer screw which is quite simple to use.)

Umarex makes their replica of the Colt .45 Single action revolver under a number of different names including Peacemaker, Duke (John Wayne), NRA, U.S. Marshal, and others. These grips will fit all of those models. I have taken several photographs of my gun with these grips on it, and I will try to post one of these with my review.
