Large knobs, easy to use. made me a better shot than I am
I like the firearms grade production of this micrometer adjustment sight. The gradual, positive click adjustment allows for pinpoint dial in of the sight.
Things I Would Have ChangedBeing the first pistol sight of this kind I've used, I have limited experience and opinions about how it may be changed. I think it's great as far as I'm concerned.
What Others Should KnowIt took me minimum effort to sight my pistol. I did have to paint the front sight of the 1701P with fluorescent paint before I could get the correct sight picture. Probably because I'm about half blind. Either way I think it would be advantageous to do so.
This is a precision open sight with nice easy click adjustments. It mounts perfectly to my Crosman 1701P Silhouette.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe sight works perfect. I wouldn't change anything.
What Others Should KnowUnfortunately, mine shipped with the wrong size Allen hex wrench. The wrench was too big for the tiny set screws on the sight. I ended up getting a Wiha mini hex set to find that I needed a .050 size wrench to adjust the set screws that allow it to mount on my pistol. It was probably just an odd mixup at the factory when they packed the sight. I deducted one star for that.

Works exactly as I wanted. Easy to mount, and the click adjustment on it is dead on. I mounted it on a Crosman 1701 Silhouette pistol. I rotated the front sight about half way and the sight window is exactly what I like. Seems to hold true after quite a few shots. Great combo.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe mounting screws worked fine and do seem to hold, but that is the one area I would beef up just a little.
What Others Should KnowTake you time to mount it and play with the front sight until you get the picture you like.
